Great modern japanese-style hotel with ocean views”

I live in Japan not far from the hotel so am familiar with Japanese hospitality and cleanliness. My friends - visiting from Germany, the UK and Canada - were blown away by the place... they loved it. The lobby lounge is very comfortable and tastefully decorated in a modern style, and has a panoramic ocean view. You can relax here with a freshly brewed coffee (free of charge) or with a glass of wine from the self-service wine dispenser. The rooms are tremendous - large, roomy Japanese style tatami rooms with futon mattresses, a small seating area near the window to take in the ocean view. The main restaurant - curiously - is at the bottom of the hotel in a large windowless space, albeit nicely furnished, a kind of nightclub feel. The food - around 10 small courses of various Japanese delicacies - was very good. The hot spring baths are tremendous - an large indoor bath, a smaller outdoor bath, both with the same great ocean views. A short path from the hotel leads to the local waterfront, with spectacular views of Mount Fuji - probably the best view of Fuji from anywhere. Thoroughly recommended!

Top Ryokan”

To reach the hotel takes a little while by bus. It would be better to inform the arrival of the bus in heda beforehand so they can pick you up with shuttle bus on time. You must go first to ShuIt is located by the sea. We did not go to the beach because it was still very windy. The room is large enough for 2 adults and a baby. It is clean and comfortable. The view is magnificent. We watched the sunset from our room while drinking tea. The outdoor bathtub is also very nice. Dinner and breakfast were excellent! The personal were all very nice. We had trouble with some booking issue (our fault) but the hotel offered a kind solution to our problem. We definitely recommend this hotel and will sure come to this hotel again. Domo arigatou!

An extraordinary experience at Pacific”

The hotel is located on a mountain in Heda in Ito, only 5 minutes to walk to the ocean. We enjoyed pretty much the blue pacific every day from sunrise to sunset. It was a wonderful experience. The room was a truly Japanese style with Futons, very traditional. The hotel provided super good service which we cannot complain anything. For instance, Japanese breakfast, comfortable hot spring, free coffee and orange wine, etw. Highly recommend this hotel and Heda!

Excellent Hotel Perched Up High”

The hotel was splendid, with peak Japanese style throughout without being old or outdated. The staff were friendly and helpful, and were able to communicate in English as well. The room was large and it felt opulent, with the bath opening up to the ocean. The Japanese breakfast was phenomenal, and if I had had the option I would have opted in for dinner as well. I deducted a star because of the Wi-Fi. Although the rooms advertise Wi-Fi, it was in reality only available in the communal lounge.

No restaurant in the hotel or nearby”

We arrived at the bus stop downtown in rainy and cold weather, we called the hotel (phone number not informed in agoda voucher, so we search in the internet) but cannot get through (not sure the problem is the line or the connection). No taxi or UBER or anything. We went to the nearest minimart but it was closed, then we went to the only restaurant nearby and closed also. Then we met a couple who stayed at the hotel next door which picked up by hotel shuttle (not Nishiizu) and the driver was kind enough to let us ride with him. Arrived at hotel 1.30PM, apparently hotel has no restaurant, then we bought instant noodle at the hotel and ask for hot water but they not providing and not allow us to eat in the lobby!! My children are starving, after arguing, they allowed us to eat biscuit and snack in the lobby! Hotel next door has restaurant but not opened. You must has dinner in the hotel because cannot find any restaurant nearby. View of mount Fuji also not satisfying because too far.

Our stay in the Hotel was very amazing. Is it Possible to see the Fuji montain from the room.

bad experience”

We took the bus for 6 hours, driving the winding road to the hotel. To our dismay, it was not what we expected. The room was based on the traditional japanese lifestyle. They provide you their japanese robe for the onsen. They also have a onsen bath tub outside of our room. The room itself was not what we expected. It was a bit old and the room was filled with incense smell. It took a while to get used to. The toliet was in a seperate room than the shower and sink. A bit weird planning. The shower was in glass, which people using the outside onsen can see inside. the staff made the bed and food was provided. As we were sleeping, we saw 2 cockroach beside our bed... we had enough, and ended leaving after the first night. The staff was very understanding and drove us to the local bus stop. overall, this hotel was quite expensive and far. the room was not clean. room was rundown.

Relaxing and romantic ”

Only spent one night here but it was absolutely magical. I wish we had spent one more night to just enjoy it a little more. I also recommend getting the dinner and breakfast. The food was amazing. The views were amazing. The whole stay was wonderful!

Lovely place to stay but a bit far. ”

Food at there are great, and many locals stay there. Staff are nice and place is great. Will be there next time again.

This Ryokan is a little old and high up on a cliff. The atmosphere is very nice, older Japanese style with amazing night views of Shizuoka. Staff are very friendly and nice, even got a deck of playing cards for free. Free coffee in the lounge is a good feature too.

Disappointment ”

We absolutely loved the city, Heda and peninsula are amazing. It is a hidden gem in this region. Hotel itself is OK-ish but what made our stay the worst stay of my life is staff perfromnace where everything was wrong from the check in. When you arrive to the town by bus you are instructed by the hotel official website to call them so they can pick you up from the station and bring to the hotel. We did that at noon and nobody was picking up the phone. Some local kind people helped us to get a taxi which was apparently like a treasure to find in town and when we arrived the front office managers stared at us and said that they do not pick up phones unless it is 3 pm and it is an official time to check in. they were rude all the way thru the stay, unhelpful and highly disappointing

露天風呂付き客室に一泊しました。最高ですね。ラウンジやシガールームの居心地もよく、翌朝に貸し切りの屋上露天風呂（1,000円）にも入りましたが、どれも十分に楽しめました。大浴場は、まあ普通かな（笑）車で三島から今宵に向かう峠で濃い霧が発生し、夕食の時間に間に合わないかなと思ったのですが、そのことを電話で伝えたところ、到着時に快く出迎えてくださって、時間を過ぎていたにもかかわらず、美味しい夕食もゆっくりと楽しむことができました。ダイニングは落ちついたデザインの半個室で、スタッフさんの対応もとても感じがよかったです。駐車場はそれほど広くなさそうに見えたので、車で行く場合は、念のため事前に電話しておくことをオススメします。西伊豆に行くときは、また泊まりたいですね。

非常に落ち着いた雰囲気の旅館で、レセプションの対応も親切。あまり悪い点は思い浮かばないけど、強いて言うなら屋上の貸切風呂は狭い。。価格も手頃だし、朝ごはんのお米が本当に美味しい！西伊豆に来るならまた利用したいですね。

車で来るなら最高”

部屋からの風景は絶景。サービスもテキパキしていて気持ちが良かったです。食事も美味しく楽しめました。車で来るには、土肥温泉や沼津も近いので お勧めです。しかし我が家のように車がなく公共交通機関で来るとなると修善寺駅から最寄りの戸田温泉まで50分以上かかるうえに、バスの本数も限られており非常に不便です。ここに来るなら車が必須です。そうすれば極上の時間を楽しめるでしょう。
