Good but out of town centre”
I chose this hotel as it had an outdoor pool and gym and was close enough to get the bus to Venice. The pool was closed for winter (In September when it was 26C!)and there were a lot of mosquitoes which you may expect around Venice area. The bus stop for Venice was very close by as was a good supermarket. However if you wish to walk into Mestre where there are lots of lovely restaurants, it will take you 20 minutes. The staff, room, and breakfast were all excellent and it was much cheaper than a 4* hotel in Venice itself

This hotel is in Mestre which is 30 minutes from Venice..it has access to bus to reach venice and LIDL which is a big department store. But as a tourist i wanted to stay close to Venice..As a hotel it is Novotel brand quality and comfortable but fsr from Venice. Thus preferable for tour group s.

We could get a special offer for the room. So price/value was very nice. The Hotel has an outside pool. There is a good grill restaurant across the street. Easy access with car. Parking for free or with a little fee on video guarded parking lot. Good food. Nice breakfast was included. Bus to Venice Piazze del Romana in 30min (1.60 Euro per way if prebooked at Hoteldesk, or as a combi-ticket including the ships in Venice.)Comfortable Hotel. I would recommend it to my friends.

Large Rooms and Short ride to Venice!”
The staffs were very helpful and the hotel is very near the bus-stop that leads you to a 20mins bus ride to Venice. Rooms are very spacious and well furnished. It does meet the standards of the Novotel brand.

Value for Money”
Value for money with a spacious room and free public parking nearby the hotel. A bus stop is just around the corner if you want to venture Venice City. It is very convenient to travel by bus because we had enough of Italian driving. Its 20 minutes ride and you can spend all day because the last return bus is till 12MN. Would recommend this hotel to friends and definitely coming back to Novotel Venicia

Comfortable bed and good breakfast”
Location is a bit far from airport, but close to Metres Station. As we arrived in midnight, we have no choice but took taxi, it was around Euro47 for car. We just stayed there for one night and went to Venice on next day. The breakfast was a big surprise, wide choice of selection, freshly baked bread was a big bonus. Hotel staff was nice and helpful, he showed us how to take the bus to Plaza Roma (which can changed water bus to Venice). The overall stay was pleasant.

nice Business Hotel”
Novotel very easy to find from the highway, free parking. Receptionist handles check-in efficiently and friendly, with a bright smile, upgrades me to an executive room (is it because I booked through Agoda?). At reception they sell bus and vaporetto tickets to travel to Venice and give advice where to wait for the bus. Very good service! The room on the 6th floor was neat and airy, soundproof, with very good matresse and a light quilt. To my surprise there was even a Nespresso Coffee machine, capsules were replenished daily, as well a thick bathrobe and nice slippers. Lunch taken in the ground floor restaurant was not so pleasant, service very slow and unfriendly. However breakfast was served in the same area and this hostess smiled and was friendly even it's a mass eating function there, not to everybody's taste. A great plus was the free internet, even in the room and not as stated only in the public areas! More and more I book only hotels with free internet.

We really enjoyed our stay here. All staff were helpful and spoke excellent English. Easy transport to Venice. Very close to a Lidl so you can stock up on reasonable food for your day out. Breakfast was very good. Clean rooms. Definitely recommend if you are travelling to Venice with a car.

Visiting Italy sometimes it could annoy you because you expect better but it did not happen here. Novotel in Vanice is very nice and still stay in high standard for Novotel group. It is centre located and easy to access. Service is good, food is delicious and room is clean.

Very nice breakfast, clean and comfortable room. Bathroom was Great. Close to Venice bus station but it was a long trip to Venice. Overall, we enjoyed staying in Novotel and highly recommend it!

Family Friendly Hotel ”
it lived upto novotel standards. the rooms were nice, clean and fit our family of 4. the lobby had a couple of imacs with broadband and a xbox to keep the kids occupied. the only drawback was the location. though the bus ride to venice is only 15-20 minutes, the frequency of buses are very low and we spent long time in bus stops both ways. the food options are also limited as there are no restaurants nearby except the one and only hotel restaurant.

Rude, snobby, inattentive staff”
The beds are not comfortable, the staff was rude, they seem to work on commission because our check-in clerk kept trying to sell us ad-ons. He told us breakfast was 12 euros for the two of us per day (I clarified that it was 12 euros for both and not per person) he then charged us 48 euro for the two of us for two nights (so 12 euro each) when I went back to see why I was overcharged, there was a different clerk who scoffed at me or thinking it was 12 euro for both of us, we returned the breakfast vouchers and spent the money at grocery store around the comer and we got enough food for a week. This hotel costs about 15 euro taxi ride from the mestre train station, and to get to venice it's a 30 euro taxi ride, there is a bus stop by the Lidl that will take you to Vince as well for less than 2 euro. The only good thing I can say about the hotel is that it was clean, well kept, and pretty modern, however the toilets had a smell (may be the plumbing) so we just kept the toilet lids closed. Overall, it was overpriced for what it was, even the pop cans in the vending machine were priced at 4,50 euro. I wouldn't stay here again, and after this experience I wouldn't stay at any other novotel.

It's a great choice if you want to roam venice for the day and not bothered staying in the main area due to the hotels fare, its 10 mins walk to the bus stop that takes you to the main area. Great value

Clean and comfortable room ”
2 We stayed 2 nights. First time in Venice so we stayed on the mainland as was not familiar. Clean hotel, Staying here we would take day trips to Venice town. Its a 3 min taxi ride from hotel to Mestre station 15 euros then a 15-20 min train ride across to Venice city 5 euros. Hotel is reasonable. Tip Venice town can be covered in 2 days. We took a walking city tour and gondola ride to get acquainted to city. Interesting experience. At St Marks square there is a tourist office where you can book your tour. Tours start at 3 pm so be sure to make it earlier. Food was reasonable 40 - 60 euros a decent meal.

Have to take public shuttle bus to Venice, however, the journey is quite short around 15-20mins. Super market is quite near, but restaurants are a distance away. Near to Mestre train station.

Good hotel, but 20 minutes with bus to venice city”
It is for outside the city of venice, but not too far. We choose this hotel, so we can stay in a good hotel for a reasonable price. In the centre of venice you can not find this quality for this price.
