My Favourite Hotel all times”
Location: in Bayan Lepas. Approx 15mins to reach Penang Airport. Nearby there is Sunshine Supermarket. A lot of food choice around the corner. Room: Super comfortable room. Comfort bed and pillow. One thing they had change is no longer provide two bottles of water but gave a water dispenser instead. Good Job for protecting the earth. They do not have any smoking room and they had No Smoking Policy in the building. So for smokers might be a problem. Parking: Not much complaint as I always manage to get car park no matter how late I reach the hotel. Staff: While I am waiting to check in, the staff was all busy with no one in front. Not sure what they are busy off and no one greet until I just walk up to one of the reception for the check in process. Same goes to check out. Breakfast: Current practise is dine in the room. So they will send your breakfast choice to your room. But due to this the breakfast choice become very limited. Compare to previously buffet style. Value: Its still my favourite hotel despite I have stay in this hotel years by years. Price quite high in Penang but you have nothing much to complaint about the comfort that you have in this hotel.

Upscale Location surrounded by Condominium, Near Airport”
The hotel is clean, quite, friendly staffs and near airport. Transport wise, easily grab car from airport, to airport and to any place you like. Breakfast got various choices and nice. When coming out from the hotel, there are a halal food restaurant next to it and if you follow the building you see more restaurants, and then can reach the 24hrs convenience stall. At the opposite building having many restaurants as well. With walking further to after Arena Condo to the opposite street near The Promanade Condo , you will be able to find self help Laundry shops and more restaurants as well.

I would rate this hotel 9/10 (reserving 1 point for better improvement even it's already great!). Best stay i have ever booked for a trip with my partner. We really enjoy staying there, the room is very clean and premium. We have a comfortably sleeps during the night, and the bath tub are very enjoyable too except it could be better if it is larger. I will, for sure, book this hotel if I ever visit Penang again in future!

The staffs are so friendly and helpful, the room is so clean and comfortable with a very nice view (90° view). We was there for anniversary celebration, the hotel staffs surprise us with some lovely room decoration, we totally love it very much! Due to COVID-19 situation, we are unable to have breakfast buffet at the restaurant, but the hotel treat us ‘breakfast on the bed’ and that was so nice too! EVERYTHING IS GOOD as we expected, highly recommended and Thank you so much Olive Tree Hotel❤️

I'm travelling with kids age 2,4 and 5yrs. Staying in executive room that having bathtub. My children enjoyed it so much. Just the pool and restaurant is closed. But they do sent bfast to the room. The bfast is so so but thats oke. Its convinient as i dont have to go down. Mostly they do make up upon requested form 9am to 9pm. Every night, hkeeping do sent some refreshment to my room. Its free. The only thing is the room is transparent window as wall. Kinda hot during sunny day. Lucky me, only 1st day the weather is hot. The other day mostly cloudy. And so far i extended my stay until 14th.

Cozy and comfort staying with young kids”
Travelling with young kids, required good facilities to make them happy. This hotel provide good facilities such as, electric kettle to make warm milk, mineral water provided, with mini bar for chiller some snacks for the kids. Furthermore, room space really spacious make the children's comfort while waiting in the room. Really recommended for travelers with young children's.

The hotel is new, clean, and safe, car park can be waived in the check-in counter for those who are staying in the hotel, however the driving space is slightly limited. The water pressure in the shower room is good, coffee is free, and drinking water is also available in the room as well.

Room was spacious and had comfy bed. The work desk and chair suited for working travelers. Walking distance to Spice Arena, can go for a swim / exercise. Also close to many restaurants/ hawker centers. Staff was friendly and free parking

Great affordable hotel that supports green initiatives”
Loved everything about the hotel. I have no complaints except the part where excess food from our events were simply thrown away. Being a green hotel, dumping excess food to the landfill shoudn't even be in the agenda. Experienced hotel chefs should be able to determine the right amount of food that are needed in order to avoid wastage. If that is not possible, the hotel should do composting with the leftover food.

A great place and definitely worth the money. The shower is definitely my favourite. The breakfast is sent to the room and make it easier for someone that is staying alone or not wanting to be around crowd during this pandemics time. The staffs are very friendly and approachable. Great location, it is opposite the Setia Spice Arena within walking distance. Nice interior, clean and new. There is free shuttle bus to the airport but you need to book earlier. Definitely will recommended to friends.

Light humming sound in room in the night even with all lights switched off. Ac sound is different. This humming sound difficult to locate the source. Suppose to be non smoking hotel and yet I could smell cigarette smoke smell in the room. Shower label blue for cold and red for hot were marked wrongly. The water spray next to the toilet 🚾 is very tight and difficult to press when you want use it for washing. Always end up pinching my fingers and my skin.

I have stayed Olive Tree Hotel for several times already for business trip. Overall, it was very very good. However, there is one time where the air-conditioner is not cool and the toilet door is broken. I am still satisfied for the food, service and environment of the hotel.
