This was the second time I have visited Padang both visits I have stayed at Plan B for a maximum of 3 weeks both times. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful, will do anything to make your stay a pleasant one. Would recommend Plan B to any traveller and I will definitely be staying there the next time I visit Padang with my husband.

Modern Hotel”
Staying at this hotel was to be the last of our stay in Indonesia. On the first day disappointed when employees do not potraili tell me where is the post office, bus or bike rental. Their level of English was inadequate to the standard of the hotel. Only backpackers hotel employee explained to me where I can find me interesting places. The next day, the staff began to understand what they asked. They were helpful and booked a taxi for us. The hotel is new, with clean rooms, with modern furniture. I liked the decor of the hotel, especially the paintings on the walls in the lobby. The hotel is a few minutes walk from Padang Beach. In the restaurant you can enjoy a very nice dinner at affordable prices. I would recommend this hotel.

Newly Renovated Hotel with Friendly Staff”
We only stayed one night at Plan B and it was a lovely hotel. The staff were helpful and friendly. The breakfast was sufficient. Our room was very clean and the bed very comfortable. There were no windows in the room - we didn't care as we arrived late and left early the next morning. We thought that there was sufficient light from the opaque windows and didn't mind at all not having a window.

At night really convenient to find cheap food (eg nasi padang, nasi ayam penyet, fresh fruit juices - food truck) just within walking distance. Daytime need to take angkutan to go to the city to fo sone light shopping. Wish I can go diving there too unfortunately wheather at that time did not permits.

we checkin with no window room, next day we can change to window room [just a small slim fix glass window...], had good shower, good sleep with no noise, cold aircon, tv channel. bfast is simple & ok, just that coffee need to improve [low grade beans?]. easy access/walking to town area [China town], seaside [dirty beach], book a car w driver at 500krp to island hoping, a good cafe w many coffee bean source is just nearby [forgot its name], definitely recommend, ohh dont call the room service massage, i was cheated w lotion scrub at 500rp! exc 150rp massage, total 650rp!

A bit strange the hotel has no real windows. Actually a room inside is to be preferred because the glass strips facing the outside cannot be blinded which makes it difficult to sleep in.
