Great space, excellent staff and cafe!”
Loved staying at this place, for a backpackers/hostel the location is brilliant, just a minute's walk from the Kuala Lumpur Sentral train station, transport hub and mall. The owner is really nice and the cafe space is also delightful for work. They have affordably priced Filipino food at the moment plus the facilities are clean. However, all this also depends on the other guests who are staying at the same time. I stayed here for 4 days and had an overall very positive experience.

I stayed here for over a week. The location is perfect - just across the street from KL Sentral! Petaling Street - the famous street market - is only one monorail station away and right outside the door there are plenty of local food options. The lobby area is the perfect place to hang out with fellow travelers, or to simply just chill. What really makes this place is the staff! The owner, Wah, is such a nice guy (and a devoted Roxette fan)! Thank you Wah for our interesting conversations! I highly recommend this place and I will for sure stay here again!

It's in a great location, the staff is wonderful and the rooms&bathrooms are very clean. The common area is very good for chilling and work. Our room (double pod) had a really nice view. Plus the coffees are from out of the world, very delicous.

I had the best time ever staying here! It had easy access to public transport, near to a local Malay eating place that serve a delicious lunch treat & the price is reasonably fair. Will definitely book again when i'm on vacation.

Really nice hostel with a perfect location next to many places and the main bus and train station, the roof top is the best thing, nice view and quiet, perfect for relaxing. Stats are very friendly , I highly recommended the pods...

Value for money, close to transportation hub”
Good place to crash for a night or two. As it is a hostel, do expect noise early in the morning. Common bath was equipped with toiletries, everything was working fine. Two cats at the cafe downstairs! Very satisfied.

Great atmosphere and amenities. I would definitely stay here again. The only drawback was that someone brought durian in a week before my stay and there was a light odor throughout the entire hostel. It was bearable. Besides that I loved it

Pros: • Value for money 👌🏼 • Staff are superbly helpful and kind. Shoutout to the guys at the reception! You guys are the best! • Unli coffee and bread for breakfast 😂 • Well-maintained restrooms • Walking distance to Monorail station and KL Sentral • There’s actually a time for lights off which is in fact good for those who wants to sleep early • There’s a rooftop where you can chill and enjoy KL’s skyline Cons • No bed curtains for privacy • I booked a bed in an all-male dorm (as per Agoda) but I shared the dorm with 3-4 ladies. Overall, staying here is highly recommended!

I really enjoyed my stay here. The location was very accessible as it is just a few walks to the train station. There are also many food shops and grocery stores nearby so I was never worried whenever I need to buy some necessities. The hostel has no curfew so I was able to maximize my every day roam around Kuala Lumpur up until midnight. Also, the food at their cafe is very good. My favorite was the spahetti bolognese! I will choose Pods again once I go back to KL. I was very satisfied! Perfect five stars for me!

Backpacker necessities”
Has everything necessary for backpackers to stay or roam the city. There's cafe downstairs that open up till 10pm, convenient stores nearby, easy access to KL sentral, and last but not the least amazing staffs which is very helpful and welcoming to both humans and felines alike. There are concerns about fellow residents hygiene status but thats about it. The room is as clean as it gets.

Of course the location of the Pods hostel in kl sentral makes travelling around kl very effective and efficient. I personally enjoyed chilling in the common room with local and foreign travellers while enjoying our drinks. Had a recommendable experience at the Pods hostel, no regrets.

Overall, Pods is a good place to stay at especially if you’re an adventurous person who’d like to mingle with new people. Maybe the only downside was that we could hear the sounds on the floor that we were in, even the snore of a person in another room.
