Great service”
We arrived late and called ahead to let the front desk know. They were very kind and noted our late arrival on our booking so there wouldn't be a problem. When we arrived, they let us know that there had been a problem with our original room - so they had upgraded us to a bigger room! The room was lovely and clean, with a good heating system (it was December and Seoul gets very cold). The hotel is also just a quick bus ride from downtown Gangnam - convenient yet a quiet area. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay there again!

A bit old”
The very first impression is - old. Everything inside the room was old. At lease inside the room that I booked: the furniture was very used, the closets were rubbed. Also a big disadvantage was absence of bathrobes and a safety box. Frankly, I never experienced absence of bathrobes at a hotel. Floors from 2 to 8 were closed for reconstruction so it was a little bit noisy in the mornings but nothing too much. I hope after reconstruction the rooms will get nicer. Other than that, we enjoyed staying at this hotel. It is close to the bus stop and subway, there are lots of cafes and convenient stores around. The staff was nice. But I would only recommend to stay at this hotel after the renovation is finished.

Perfect for long stays”
This is my second time staying at the Provista Hotel and it was absolutely great like the first time. Situated in the financial district, the hotel is a 5 minute walk to Seoul National University of Education Station - Exit 1 (Gyodae Yeok) where you have access to the 2 and 3 lines. The hotel isn't entirely convenient for tourists since most of the attractions are north of the Han River but perfect for those who would rather stay away from the hustle and bustle of Seoul and don't mind commuting a bit. The hotel is about 30-40 minutes to Myeongdong, 6,000 - 7,000 won to take a cab to Cheongdam-dong or Apgujeong. It is pretty far in a cab or train from Hongdae. The hotel is a 15 minute walk away from Gangnam Station where there are a lot of nightlife and restaurants. The hotel is clean, room sizes are bigger than normal and has a kitchenette with washer/dryer. Perfect for those who stay in Seoul for longer trip. My only gripe with the hotel is that they do not allow food deliveries to the rooms anymore (sometimes ya just wanna stay in and not eat instant noodles). The 6020 airport bus arrives pretty close to the hotel and the one going to the airport is is across the street near the big intersection where the Gyodae station is. The staff speaks fair enough English to provide you what you need. Our electricity kept going out one day and they switched us to another room during our stay after technicians couldn't figure out the issue. There is a convenience store right outside the hotel as well as numerous coffee shops and one in the lobby, there are a few restaurants but more as you walk closer to train stations on either direction of the hotel, Outback restaurant right below the hotel or the hotel restaurants are another option (I never ate at either). I would definitely recommend this hotel to other travelers if they don't mind spending a little bit more for a very classy and clean hotel. Will be staying here again on my next trip to Seoul.

Value for money”
I was in Seoul for a conference, so I was alone. I red reviews of many hotels in the internet before i finally settled for Provista. There were mix comments which confused me. My main concern was distance from Coex where my conference was, cleanliness and of course safety as i was travelling alone. At Provista, I only needed to walk about 5 minutes to the nearest subway station which is the Seoul National University of Education (or there's another name which locals call it but I forgot. This was confusing because that local name was not mentioned in the guide map!. Anyway, from that station, take the subway to the Samseoung Station near Coex,no changing of train! Provista is also not far from places like Gangnam station which has lots of shopping area. It was very convenient to go to the airport from Provista because I only had to go across the street through the subway exits to catch my limousin bus to Incheon Airport. The fair was only 15,000 won! I would not mind staying at Provista again!

Very pleasant stay at Provista”
My stay at Provista Hotel was from May 15 to May 20 and may 20/21. The location is good - 200 meters from a metro station Seoul National University of Education (remember the last part, otherwise you may end up by the Seoul National University station - quite a distance, but taxi is cheap in Seoul). We left some bags with the hotel for our two-day trip, the staff was very accommodating all the time, passable English entirely functional for the needs of the guests). There are some quite inexpensive and good restaurants behind the hotel, for those who cannot part with the U.S. there is a Starbucks and Subway across the street. Rooms were of good size, very clean, with firm beds as typical in Asia. The breakfast buffet looks a little on the expensive side ($16 with tax) but considering the choice and the prices in general a good deal. This hotel is a good choice.

I've stayed at the Provista Hotel every time I traveled to Korea. It is in an ideal location away from the hustle of main city. It is a 5 minute walk to the Gyodae Station and close to many location restaurants and coffee shops. Gangnam Station is 1 stop away or a 15 minute walk, where you can enjoy good food and bar area. The only downside to the location is that you will find it hard to get a cab back from Gangnam Station late at night if you go out and will have to walk back. Other than that, the hotel room has a kitchenette and laundry machine which is great if you don't want to eat out. There is an E-mart a few minutes away where you can pick up some groceries. The streets behind the hotel and across the big road has many restaurants where you can dine at. There is a fitness center at the bottom level of the hotel if you want to workout while you're traveling. It is a bit far from most places for sightseeing, but with close access to the metro it shouldn't be much of an issue. The airport limousine stops less than a 5 minute walk to the hotel and the one heading back to the airport is a 10 minute walk opposite of the hotel. I would stay at this hotel again the next time I come back to Korea.

LOVE IT”
Although i knew the staff spoke english, my Korean wife helped get the message across a lot quicker than i would normally. Anyways, about the room- very nice. There is a lot of storage space. So many compartments, and cupboards to store clothes, bags, small things, even shelves for documents, photos of loved ones at home, or little 'nick nacks' that you want quick and easy access to when you wanna quickly run out the door. It gave the room so much more space to move. Beds were very comfortable, as was the mattress in the upstairs loft. This is the first hotel i've visited that had this feature. it was nice to sleep upstairs in solitude. The gym is very exceptional. Not just a simple treadmill, but it has a lot of equipment, and is very spacious. The room is very clean and impressive. The TV is not anything to brag about, i do not think anyone would travel to a foreign country, and rent a room for the purposes of watching TV. So it didnt bother me at all. The kitchen was very cool useful. My wife and i had a meal on the first night there and that was fun to share a meal on our own, cooked by ourselves. They also had a washing machine in the room. For travelers, this becomes very useful. The room also had a full size fridge and freezer too. to store some BASKIN ROBINS perhaps...? (thats ice-cream) The fact that there was a Subway nearby helped out a lot. From the subway, you can go almost anywhere in Seoul inc. the airport. We also had lunch at OUTBACK just underneath the Hotel. Its worth your money at lunch, but quite expensive in the dinner time. Its an Australian Restaurant and it was nice to have a break from the Asian cuisine and have a taste of 'west'. If it weren't for the discounted prices that Agoda offered i probably would never have considered this Hotel as my wife and I were on tight budgets, but we loved it here. My stay here was very pleasant! thank you for you services Provista.

Provista Hotel in Seo-cho Seoul”
The Provista Hotel located in Seo-cho Dong in Seoul near Gangnam is a good bargain at a reasonable price. I felt like I had moved into a new apartment rather than the feeling of staying in a hotel. The room was very clean. The bed extremely comfortable and the pillows are some the best pillows I've ever slept on. The staff were friendly and helpful. In short, if you want to stay in a quiet, comfortable, and non-hotelish place I recommend the Hotel Provista.

Great hotel and staff. Close to subway”
The lobby of the hotel doesn't show how nice the hotel actually is. The staff spoke limited English, but still were very helpful. The rooms were clean, had a a lot of closet-space and spacious and geared towards long-term travelers (I traveled with a friend and had the standard two-twins). The laundry/dryer combo and kitchenette is a plus. Very close and convenient to transportation, restaurants, cafes and mini-marts, all within 5 minutes of walking. Very close to Gangnam Station (I walked back to the hotel a few times after a night out, probably 15-20 minutes). Outback Steakhouse conveniently located below the hotel (though I'm not sure why you would go there when you have such great food in the neighborhood). There are at least 6 cafes surrounding the hotel and a restaurant that delivers across the street (if you are lazy like me). The cleaning ladies are friendly and like to make conversation. The loft is great if you want to have friends over and drink soju (I'm sure that's what it is for.) Airport limousine from the airport is a 1 minute walk from hotel and to the airport is across the street and up the block(4 minute walk?). Loved Provista! Will stay there again on my next visit.

This is the second time I have been to the Provista hotel. It offers a reasonable price for great rooms with a washer/dryer, fridge, and stove top. I've stayed at some high end hotels in Gangnam, but I prefer this one. Why pay $200 plus and still have to pay extra for internet?

provista hotel is located right beside the main road which is very easy to find. there are also 2 family mart close by which is very convenient. subway station is just a few minutes walk away and close to nearby gangnam attractions. the room has a built in 2-stories which is quite unique, overall i'm very satisfied.

i always stay at the provista...it is indeed my home away from home. the staff is friendly and it really is "my second home" in korea. i recommend getting membership if you are going to stay often. outback, which is great in every country…is right down stairs and starbucks is right across the street. in addition you have gangnam about a 15 minute walk away where you have every type of store you may want to shop in…so i highly recommend provista.

Nice business hotel”
We spent one night at Provista hotel in Seoul and found our stay to be very pleasant. The location is just great; not too far from the metro and right in the middle of many many restaurants. And the fitness center is extremely well equipped, with like 10 threadmills and every kind of weight training equipments you could imagine. The only thing that bugged us were the elevators. They were so slow, so from the 12th floor it took forever to get on the ground. But overall very worth every cent!

very conveniet location and great facilities”
the hotel provista is a great value in seoul. the location is excellent as it is close to a subway station where two lines intersect. right outside the hotel are several restaurants and convenience stores and there is a coffee shop right in the hotel with an outdoor patio which is great if the weather is nice. they had put us in a room with two single beds when we asked for a double, so when we asked about it they upgraded us to a better room which was nice. having a fridge and washer/dryer was great so we could keep a little food and do some laundry.

Best for price and facilities in Seoul”
If you are looking for hotel in a business area and located at the central of Seoul, Provista should be your first priority. The price is very reasonable and facilities of the hotel are very unbelievable. The room is very clean, the bathroom is wonderful and heating system is also very comfortable. You can cook and wash your clother and dry them as well. So in short it is one for all hotel.
