Exceptional”
This was such a great, boutique hotel. Right on the water (the water came almost up to the building!) and on the end of Fisherman's Village, so quieter, not in the party zone, but a super easy walk down the street. The space was large and clean and well decorated. The staff was nice and accommodating. We had the paid breakfast one morning and it was a lot of food.

I highly recommend the place. The owner is charming, helpful and very nice. The location of the hotel is excellent, with lots of restaurants and shops around. The hotel is clean, the room is well equipped and there is a lot of investment in the details. In short, if you are looking for a stunning hotel to stay in Ko Samui, this is the place!

Amazing view and very relaxing”
My husband and I stayed at the Riviera Beach for our honeymoon. The balcony has amazing views and we spent a lot of time relaxing in the room enjoying the views of the mountains, islands and the flights coming and going over the ocean in the distance. The location is excellent, very quiet with bars and restaurants in the Fishermans village. Perfect for a couple or a family.

Everything is great, the manager Pito is always there to help you with anything, a relaxed man to sit and talk with, always smiling and ready to help. Wonderful view, staff turn over the room real fast, cheap and massive breakfast downstairs. It's simple, it's clean, it's homely. Food and drinks are 5 mins walk away. Wonderful!

Great location in Samuis Fisherman's Village”
The hotel is located on the seafront and it's therefore recommended to book a sea view room with a breathtaking view. The rooms are very well maintained and clean and offer a minibar aswell. Various nice restaurants can be found in the immediate vicinity. The hotel is currently being run by the "Dream Team" Pepito & Mon....and the dog Lilly. They take great care of the guests and are always very helpful and friendly. I will come back :)

Very good hotel in fisherman’s village. Location is perfect. Sea views rooms are great, room size and balcony are very big. Perfect for watching the sunset. Hotel owner very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. I really recommend staying here.

Amazing location. The balcony oversea the beach which is the one of the best part of staying at Riviera. Spacious and clean room and within walking distance fisherman's village for drinks and dinner. The most awesome about Riviera is the people (esp Peto) who are super helpful and friendly. Will definitely stay here again.

Great location @ Riviera”
We stayed 5 night at Riviera in Fisherman’s Village. There is no better location. It s quiet and in the same time is close to the main alley. The bed frame is a little to big and takes some space of the room but in the end is not that important. Enjoy!

Great location and hospitality”
We booked the Riviera because of its location and the views over the sea... they did not disappoint! The view is absolutely stunning and we would wake up every morning to catch the sunrise from our window. We would have left the windows opened if it wasn't for the mosquitoes! Peter (aka Pepito) is super friendly and helpful. The place is very clean and neat. It is a simple hotel (no pool, no gym etc.) but this was what we needed. Will definitely come back again! Thank you for your hospitality!

Amazing view and nice location in fisherman village”
For those who wants to see around fisherman village, it’s a great spot to stay in for a couple days and try out the restaurants nearby, and of course the beach there, though rocky, is still a great option to hang around. The staff were lovely, plus there’s a sweet dog (if you’re afraid no need to worry she would be barricaded unless they know you don’t mind). Make sure the things you need are prepared well when you check in because during the night no staff would stand by. Just situated by the beach, you listen to waves crashing at night and wake up to them in the morning, then admiring the sunset when sitting at the balcony. Overall the best (sort of) budget stay in our Samui trip.

Great place, friendly staff”
We stayed at Riviera for four nights. There was a lady who was a manager who was extremely friendly, always smiles, took care of us, and spoke good english. She organized Scooter rentals, taxi rides to the airport and had really good recommendations or where to go and what to visit. The prices offered at the hotel were very reasonable and matched the prices of everywhere else. The room was very clean, and had a mini fridge that you can store your own drinks from Family Mart/7/11 in. It had good working A/C as well. A couple things I wished they had: better lock on the room door, seems very easy to pick, although the area seemed very safe. And a shower curtain! The shower was separate, but open to the toilet area, and water always gets everywhere making it kind of tedious to wipe every time to keep things dry. A couple of more hooks on the walls to dry swimming stuff after a day at the beach. Access to the lobby 24/7 - unfortunately the lobby is only open from 8am - 8pm. If you're with a group you may just have to hang out in your own room, since the lobby will be closed. Location is great, very close to the main tourist strip, but far enough from clubs and bars so you don't hear their music at night. I would stay here again!

The Riviera Beach Hotel was a great stay for the last couple days. Right on the Fisherman Village strip so it was just a short walk to really lovely restaurants, massages and souvenir shops. The room was clean, spacious and comfortable. The staff were extremely helpful and accommodating and friendly, thank you so much for everything!

Nice beach front room BUT be careful if booking a FAMILY ROOM. You might not get what you've booked”
Nice little hotel, cosy beach front room with a picture perfect view. All would be fine apart from the fact that I've booked this hotel just because they were offering a family room for 4. Upon our arrival we've learned that second bedroom from this family room was booked to someone else and my husband ended in the room on a different floor with NO WINDOW at all. Honestly, we wouldn't stay there if it wasn't for only 1 night... unfortunately, this was our very last night of 2 weeks trip.

Super friendly welcome, great location”
We've been travelling for 8 months and it was the best welcome and the best send off we've had in all that time. We had the cheapest room but it was clean and quiet with good AC. Location is great as it's not too busy there, but you're only metres away from the start of the main strip. Would love to stay again.

the stairs at the entrance to the rooms are pitched black. there is a time switch which only comes on for a very short while when you ate halfway up or down. you have to use your cellphone light to prevent injuries. we report ir to reception ut the say that is how it is. there is no elevator or lift ...just a set of pitch black stairs and scary ... no rails.
