This is a disappointing hotel with poor value”
this hotel has so many bad things that it is difficult to know where to start. first value for money is appalling - i paid for a lousy room in a lousy hotel. for it would have been ok. second the hotel is "in amphawa" - it is 5 kms away. third the room we stayed in - with no windows, bare concrete walls and no bedside table/light. fourth the bathroom has no mirror, the towel rail hangs over the sink and floor is made up of large stones set in concrete which are painful to walk on. fifth the rooms have such a thin ceiling that we were kept awake until 1.00 am by a noisy party above us. sixth the resort car transfer to amphawa broke down.

Medium class resort, like and dislike”
The hotel is close to the tourist attraction place like Bangkhun temple, and is not too far from the canal market - but we still need our own car to get around The resort is close to the river, but very limited room which have the river view. The mattress for the double room is one single not-too-big mattress. So, it you go with your friend, you have to share the same matress (not bed) There are many flies in the resort. When we have our breakfast near the river, the flies is everywhere.

Overall our stay was satisfactory. The hotel is new and the rooms are as well. Issues may be encountered due to lack of staff. Only one staff who seemed to work as the operation manager (but is not classified as one) knew what was going on. The breakfast menu is mediocre (porridge). American breakfast includes a surcharge and is not free. For the boat ride organized by the hotel, we had agreed to call our boat owner to indicate the time we'd come back. However, when we called him a couple of hours later, he arranged for us to get back with another boat that had no sufficient lighting for the way and that was not up-to-standard security-wise.

Why cant budget hotels be better??”
ok so this is a budget hotel although the price is not realtively budget. 1. the room could be better appointed with simple things like more hooks to hang clothes since there is no closet. 2. nobody will want the intermediate rooms with no windows. 3. our room faces the river but the room does not open out to the outdoors. what a waste! instead the windows have wooden bars. 3. so there's nothing to do at night but watch tv. why is the tv located high up in one corner? 4. bathroom: clean enough but no counter to even place your toiletries bag? 5. a small rattan chair is very useful. 6. be warned the ceiling is wood...thai style...noise from floor above will be heard clearly. 7. plus: parking, not hi occupancy. comes with breakfast but dont expect any selection or a buffet style feast! very basic. this hotel has the potential to improve without 5 star appointments but i think the management either doesnt care or dont know how!

If you're looking for a peaceful destination, this could be your answer for short stay. Best for those who has their own vehicle to access the resort. Staffs are very helpful. The best part is there's monks rowing a boat in the morning. So we can offer food to them.

The Hotel was hard to find. If you dont speak thai its almost impossible to find the hotel. I recommend you take a taxi or tuktuk. Even by taxi you should have the hotels phone number ready so the driver can speak to the hotel. Once i arrived a found a well run hotel right at the river. The mattress was hard as rock. The breakfast was very poor. The staff members although very nice and helpful.

it's just wonderful placde where we can enjoyed our life time and most relax after straight from hard work in downtown environment. also, local lifestyle is old fashioned of thai traditional where the old temples are located around the district areas that is very implessive when spending our holiday right there.
