Very nice ryokan”
What a clean place! Great location right by the ocean. We stayed in the C style, with the private onsen, huge bath. The staff tried their best to speak English with us. The dinner and breakfast were great, so much seafood with local fish. Would be amazing during the summer.

Friendly staff; nice n quiet environment ”
The staff are friendly and helpful. They speaks English well and are kind enough to explain to us the etiquette of taking spring water bath. The Japanese breakfast and dinner are interesting (and very nice). Don’t skip the breakfast.

Great!”
The meals were perfect! Fresh ingredients and good service. The staff were friendly and helpful. A few of them can speak English, but the massage ones can’t. Good sea view and hotspring.

Great place for tranquil rest”
Outdoor onsen is great with enough space and different tubs. You can see the ocean right in front and feel the waves with no barrier. The breakfast was awesome. Everyone should include the breakfast.

Lovely place ”
The baths overlooks great point with surf breaks. The ladies bath is not as nice as men’s (three tubs in the photos) but good. Food was very lovely Japanese style.

Private onsen room only can be booked during the night time and the price is high as no any views .

Very good”
A good retreat from busy city scene. Dinner was just ok. While the onsen has ocean view the setting could be a bit better.

Gorgeous waterfront onsen experience”
We were heading to Shizuoka and decided to take a detour to Izu peninsula to experience this ryokan. Overall, we had a good experience here staying for 1 night. The Onsen (we've tried a handful) has one of the most scenic views facing the pacific ocean. The amenities / toiletries of their bath house had generous selection of facial products, facial cleansers, etc. And a massage chair to use at your disposable was nice to have. Overall, it's clean, has spectacular views and feels very private. The rooms were traditional Japanese tatami rooms, also facing the ocean. Very relaxing and peaceful. We love the loose leaf japanese tea they had in the rooms. Breakfast and dinner were included. Although they were ample, and spent a lot of time in meticulous preparation and variety, we didn't quite feel 'full' after dinner. Mind you, we've had Kaiseki meals before. We just felt that the food selection wasn't as exceptional compared to others. A lot of seafood to grill, a few were still alive (so, definitely fresh!), but literally still moving on our plate..lol. Maybe not for the squeamish. Also, we came on a Sunday. The town was very quiet and felt very remote with nothing else to do, or see. Actually, it felt like ghost-town. We did go for a walk along the ocean, which was nice. Overall, it was very relaxing. I think 1 night was sufficient. A great place to getaway from the city, if you're from Tokyo...or if you happen to be in the way to Shizuoka. It is a bit of a detour though...and relying on a public train took a while. The hotel picked us up at the local train station, which was nice. Fumi, one of the staff members was extremely accommodating and helpful. He spoke English very well. Overall, we liked it, but not sure if we would go out of our way for it, given the location and remoteness of the town.

Not cheap, but worth it.”
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The customer service is excellent from the moment you arrive to the moment you leave. Our Japanese language skills are poor and despite some barriers, the staff went out of their way to be accommodating and make sure they understood our preferences. The hotel itself is clean and newly renovated and was one of the more modern Ryokans we have stayed at. The kaiseki dinner was plentiful and of a very high standard. We left dinner very full and very happy both nights we were there. The Japanese breakfast is also extensive and very well executed, although in fairness it may be a challenge to some western tastes. The hotel does offer that you can have a western breakfast at their partner hotel across the road. Finally, the location is front row to the beach with stunning views and the sounds of waves crashing on the rocks. Up on the roof there is a spectacular Onsen with both indoor and open-air baths overlooking the ocean. Some rooms also have private baths on the balcony overlooking the ocean. In summary, a very positive experience and one which we would highly recommend.

Very good but expensive”
The food is good - all about seafood as it is about Izu. The onsen is awesome - simply great.!! Great view - to the Izu sea.! Rooftop.! Open air.!! The staff are very helpful, two of them can speak fluent English. In this little village this is a very good service. In particular the young man called Fumi who served me in the 3 days - super helpful, offers me all the information I need, speaks fluent English. Great, Fumi, big THANK YOU to you (I am Mr. Wong : ) ) The location is very remote, though shuttle bus service is offered. Anyway I drive myself. It is very expensive, in such a fishing village. I stayed there on Friday and Saturday nights - not sure if this is the reason. Anyway what it offers is GREAT.

Wonderful experience ”
This is a really great hotel to experience Japanese culture. Everything's was great. Although no where to go around the hotel, but it's a good location to stay to explore Ito.

Beautiful location with excellent staff”
Beautiful coastal location overlooking the bay. Both indoor and outdoor onsen baths overlook the sea. Excellent, friendly and helpful staff who inquire and advise on good places in the local area to visit for day trips. Dinner and breakfast are both plentiful and superb.

Poor service and bad manners”
Bad experience and ruin my stay. No 'meet and greet' or help offer with luggages. The service and manners was poor. The room was so small with no internal shower. They even charge for mineral water! NO Wi-Fi

Exceptional”
This is my second visit since 2017, I especially picked this place due to my pleasant stay last time. Overall the facility is starting to show its age, but still holds the aesthetic. Great ocean view from the outdoor baths, good food and helpful staffs with great smiles. Prompt communications with emails too.
