We arrived hoping it would be as good as it looked online, and it didn’t disappoint. The villa with private pool was exceptional, the ground are beautiful, the activities (included) are plentiful (we’d especially recommend the catamaran) and the staff couldn’t do enough to make our stay wonderful - such a great place!

Good but could be better in a good way”
We stayed for 4d3n and had a wonderful time at the hotel because the staffs at Samabe is simply amazing - they are really attentive in making sure that guests had a great time. Some of the things that could be improved is the food. For a luxury hotel, I had a very high expectations of the food, breakfast included. I felt that the quality of the food didn't match the service of the hotel. Considering the distance/location of the hotel, food is definitely an area to be improved in order to make our stay more wholesome as we would really love to just stay and soak in all that the hotel as to offer instead of going out for meals. Nevertheless, we had a wonderful time at the hotel - the rooms and beach are truly incredible.

excellent service, value for money”
I tried very very hard to fault Samabe, but I really couldn't find any. I booked for 2 nights stay, 1 for the ocean front honeymoon suite and 1 for the 1 bedroom villa. I didn't get to stay at the honeymoon suite as I was upgraded right away at check in to the 1 bedroom villa. It was an amazing experience with Samabe as service was excellent, and they pay attention to details. My husband being a seasoned business traveller who can be picky with hotel, have nothing but praises for Samabe, which he insisted I write this review to share our experience with other travelers. We didn't know what to expect from an unknown name like Samabe, but after our stay, we know we will definitely be back. The simple gesture of free mini bar and free non-alcoholic drinks thru out the resort just bring a smile, not forgetting the freshly pressed concoction of juices served to every patron during breakfast. Butler service was great as well, and I am also very impressed by the simple gesture of housekeeping. I came back to the villa with a nice surprise with the folded towels to the shape of elephant and.monkey on the bed. It just brighten my day, and they left a sweet alongside as well. With Samabe, being a small establishment, was personal. My only regret is that I didn't stay long enough at Samabe to enjoy the free activities such as Free yoga classes, Free Kayaking, Free cooking classes, etc. Without a Doubt, Samabe is a great winner and I will definitely be staying with them again when I am in Bali. Wedding Video Shoot ”
Perfect stay at Samabe Bali Suites & Villa. The staff were really attentive and provided excellent personalised serviced. Had my post wedding video shoot there and the staff were kind enough to provide an assistant for us throughout the entire shoot, ensuring that we were comfortable during the whole time. Great views as well from their honeymoon suite. They also allowed us to have a late checkout during our shoot and upgraded us to the Samabe Suites because we had to extend our checkout time due to the shooting. All the rooms were huge and gorgeous and guests are provided complimentary high tea and non-alcoholic drinks throughout the entire day. Couldn't compliment them enough for their service and hospitality towards us even though we only stayed for a night! Would return to Samabe again the next time we are in Bali. Thank you so much Samabe :)

Everything is outstanding in Samabe suites & villas. We stayed in a villa with a private pool. The villa is so spacious and the pool too!! We fully enjoyed our stay there. Everting is more than perfect in Samabe; the food, the staff, the services...etc. Really really we couldn't find anything negative in Samabe. If we would visit Bali again, we would for sure stay in Samabe. I recommend Samabe.

Just Amazing !!!!!”
Just spent 2 days at Samabe Bali for a relaxing stress free all inclusive holiday ; this is our second time here. There is just no better hotel in Bali ! We travel a lot as a couple and this place is in a league of its own. The staff are friendly, the service very personal and nothing is any trouble. The facilities are fantastic not to mention the amazing two restaurants and the incredible breakfasts a mix of buffet & a’la carte !!! We can't wait to return in to our Ocean view Villa number 30. Samabe please don t change anything !!!!!

Brand new Samabe Bali is worth repeat visits”
Samabe is a brand new resort that just opened in June 2013. We stayed in an Ocean-view studio with a bathtub facing the Indian Ocean in July 2013. Location: Cliff-top resort offering one of best views of the Indian Ocean. South facing so you can't watch any sunrises or sunsets but it did not matter because we drove so we went exploring for the best sunsets in Jimbaran/Uluwatu daily. We loved the fact that we are so high up overlooking the ocean. Unblocked views to Nusa Penida and the reef below us. A fairly long climb down to the beach but the water is worth the effort. Shallow, no waves, clear aquamarine seawater on a shallow reef stretching for about 1km out. At low tide you can walk out quite far at chest height water. Bring your fins, snorkel and booties for exploring the reef. Only kayaks were available when we were there, hopefully they would add a catamaran, windsurfing, and more sail boats later. The sea is perfect for kite surfing, windsurfing, sailing lasers and dingys. Soft coral-sand beach is not easy to walk on. Strolling is quite an effort. Sand comes in little round balls, very special. Best of all - no touts around! It's quiet and peaceful and not many guests....yet. Resort and Room: Comfortable sized compound, a little hilly but still manageable even for my pregnant wife. If you do not want to walk, just call for the buggy. Fine dining restaurant so do not expect big portions on the menu. Food was good and fresh but not cheap. Everything was freshly prepared by the chefs. If it's not made by the chefs, do not order - ie. dim sum. Breakfast Pool was quite small considering the size of the resort. But there were many villas with their own pools, maybe that's why. Room was HUGE! Bathroom was equally big, with a walk-in closet, his and hers, and of course the standalone bathtub facing the ocean. Very big balcony perfect for lounging. Housekeeping/butler service was top notched. The free mini bar...who doesn't like a free mini-bar? Replenish

Towards Perfection”
Many can claim to have ocean views. But Samabe has an unblemished ocean-line that blends with the skyline - no private & commercial shipping to taint the picturesque views. Now, you couple that with sunrises and suddenly many will take to meditation, yoga and the likes. Aspiring authors, musician, scriptwriters - Fall In! Because of a natural sand-bar, she’s also blessed with a lagoon-like water front. One can witness n feel the crashing waves and yet enjoy the calmness of a tranquil lagoon – Perfect for the kids, for snorkeling n kayaking. In our visits to the “lagoon”, we saw an eel, a grouper and other delightful fishes...all this while atop our (nearly stationary) kayak. At this level, every luxury chain is aiming to outdo one another and sets very high baseline. So it’s the little things that set the great ones apart. I’d like to share 2 issues. 1. We were picked up late on 2 occasions (1-hour, 5-min). Both occasions we were told that traffic was the main culprit. This is my 7th trip in 2 years so it’s hard to believe that our driver was stuck in Bali traffic for 1+ hour on a Thursday morning, while taking the new highway. I feel it’s better to be upfront, sincere and execute immediate Service-Recovery, rather than thinking up lame excuses. 2. Expectedly, Samabe pampered us with top quality amenities, Crabtree, Grohe and the likes. There are a couple of surprises that’s not in sync with the rest of our experiences. Eg, the provision of mass market toilet rolls (low-quality 2-ply) and F&B staff missing out on details like, coasters for cold drinks and performing menial task in full view of guests. In this segment, guests may miss the 99 good stuff, but will notice the 1 bad stuff. So it’s important to synchronise the entire experience. But it’s heartening to note that Ralf was very sincere about taking in our comments and made immediate interventions. He just need to slowly infuse his team with the same level of service-oriented DNA.

Possibly the best villa i've ever stayed in.”
I'm here in Samabe for 3 nights, we chose this place because it is near Bali National Golf Club, such strategic place. Here you can get world class facilty with the price you pay. It is really worth it. The villa and my room is extremely clean. The staff cleans it twice a day, morning and night. We have private beach here and our own golf cart to get us around the resort. Breakfast is good, you can get any drinks for free 24 hours as well as the bars and mini bars. The staff is extremely friendly and bilingual. 10/10 would come here again next visit.

Fantastic stay with excellent service! ”
Had our two night honeymoon stay after our wedding ceremony in Bali. Greeted by the staff with a wide smile and welcome drink. Stunt by the unblock ocean view span across the room. The room was huge and comfortable with newly decorate furniture and features. Love the bath tub which has a ocean facing too! Served with daily afternoon tea and free flow non-alchoholic drink throughout the day. The drinks were good with wide selection, you can order anything and the staff will always do their best to provide. As a honeymooner we were given a free picnic lunch as well, of course with big serving of food. We requested for late check out as ours was a late evening flight. The staff helped us to arrange another room from 12-4pm so we can rest. However, we went to their spa which is very good value for money too. We took a 190 minutes spa at superb price! After the spa we slacked at the lounge and they still continue to serve us free drink. Love all the staffs with a big smile when greeted us anywhere and everywhere in the compound :) Samabe provides 5 star accommodation and service. Will definitely come back again and recommend to our friends!

Absolutely the best hotel I have stayed in!”
We have traveled the world and our stay at the Samabe Bali Resort was by far the nicest hotel that we have ever stayed in. Beautiful location, fabulous accommodations, awsome food, and the staff the best ever! We arrived at 2am in the morning and they offered us the lounge until our room was ready. The lounge included a media room complete with theater seating and huge flat screen tv. The staff brought us pillows and the most fabulous comforter. We we were able to rest after our long flight and start the day sight seeing. Outstanding accommodations.

Superb Hotel I Ever Stayed!”
It was a fantastic stay in Samabe! Fantastic decoration and furniture with superb sea view! The Villa we stayed was really great and beautiful! We stayed there fro 3 days 2 nights and it was really an unforgettable one! Our kids loved the villa so much and we were really enjoyed our stay there. The whole resort was a heaven! Nice view, nice food, nice people! We cycled around the resort and were really had fun with our kids! Swimming in the beautiful pool overlooking the great sea view! It was really magnificent! Walking on the private beach all by ourselves as though the whole beach belonged to us! We even had a private pool in our villa and we really had lots of fun staying in this villa! The hotel buggy could bring us to anywhere in the hotel. The restaurant was good. We loved the breakfast provided! Full of choices and spoilt with nice food and drinks! Free flow of drinks during the stay! Just can't describe all as everything was so good when we stayed here! We will come back again for sure!

Awesome - Superb - Fantastic - Perfect (almost)”
Almost everything about Samabe facilities are very very VERY GOOD except the kids club, it's lame (according to my kids) and also the reclining sofa at hospitality lounge is broken. But, Samabe is still on my #1 list of resort to go for our next trip to Bali. Samabe is still the best resort in Bali.

We are impressed, enjoyed the stay”
We stayed at samabe for six days, from the very begining we feel the hospitality on our arrival. The airport picking up service is not too cheap, but the driver was very kind and helpful, car was well equipped and refreshing. The room we booked was the front ocean honeymoon suite, which was very nice, big and clean, and has a perfect wide view of the sea. The first room they gave us has a little cliff blocking part of the ocean view, it's not bad at all, but we requested a change to get the even wider one. Front desk lady kindly made the arrangement and we were most happy with the changed one. The resort has nice facilities. Worth mentioning is the instant "buggy"(elec car) internal transportation, which was quick and welcome. Also the water sports on the beach, which was free and available. We are most satisfied by the hotel services and the staff hospitality. We look forward to come back again, and recommend it to people.
