Very good clean simple hotel in Top location”
Friendly and helpfull stuff, hotel is direct in the night area opposit are discos open to 4am or sometimes later, so the nights are very noisy. So only recommend if u have a good sleep. Hotel is clean and room facilities good. Safe, TV with Wifi connection, Wifi worked well. Good thing -hotel have lift. Payed special discount low season price 11USD per night, so if u can get this price the hotel is unbeatable. Only negative are the noisy nights, but for me no problem. A couple of beers and problem was solved. For me a perfect stay. A lot of Thanks also for the friendly stuff.

The hotel is located at backpackers street (Bui Vien) so expect loud music until 5am. My room has no window and located in the middle section but still able to hear soft thuds of music from outside. I booked a standard double room that can sleep 2 people but in reality it’s very limited space so if there are 2 of you probably struggling to find space to move. Since I’m alone it’s perfect size for me. Breakfast is eggs and tea/coffee/juice/milk. The girl at the reception from district 2 was really nice and sweet.

The hotel is cheap, clean. It's on walking street which very near the city central. The staff is friendly. I stayed here twice.

We're a group of four travellers from the Philippines and we definitely enjoyed the stay at Small Bay Hotel. This place is good for backpackers & adventurous type of travellers like us. If you're not so nitpicky and choosy, this is a good hotel to stay. Below the hotel is a bar-restaurant and accessible to tourist spots (if you love to walk a lot). The hotel is near Benh Tahn market and other tourist sites, just explore the streets and you'll realize the shortcuts. Also, the staff is really kind and helpful! 😊

awesome budget hotel in HCMC”
love my stay here.. this hotel provided almost everything when i arrived the staff welcoming me very nice.. she's told me about what do and dont in the city. warning me about scam etc she also give me map. and offer me tour with good value. oh she also help me to exchange money to vnd. and give me the best rate.. and since im moslem, she also ask me about what kind of foods id like to eat talking about the hotel, the location was superb. so easy to find. very near to Airport bus station (Bus 152 and Bus 109). very near to all local tour agents. and many cafe and restaurants near by the hotel its self, not too big. the room quite bit small. but its ok for me, since im solo traveller. they provided refrigerator in room, so we can keep fruits and drinks inside. they dont provided water heater in every room. but guests can access water heater in pantry anytime. even its not big hotel, but the hotel has lift. so dont worry if you stay here with big luggage.fot breakfast, they will ask you what you like to eat. and its free.. thank you Castella hotel. will stay here again if i visit HCMC in the future..

Small But Perfect”
Firstly, when you reached the hotel lobby, don't be shocked. Yes the little bar is the hotel lobby. They just renovated to new design and changes new owner. 3 young new bosses are friendly, very kind, and helpful person. They're all can speak a fluent English too. Second, the hotel is small just like the name 【Small Bay】 but the room consider clean enough.

Great location for a bar hunting”
Strategic location. Just walk for 15min to ben thanh market. Lots of restaurant and convenience shop around. The downfall for this hotel just a bit noisy when its night because a nearby bar. Not recommended for family or elderly. Everything other than that was great

The property is small, but that’s in the name. The staff were helpful and friendly and the rooms had hot water, AC and a mini fridge. Good value!

Excellent location right in the middle of Bui Vien, with shops bars and eating places all on the doorstep. If you have a room on the front of the hotel do note that you will hear this until around 5am, however the kind girl on reception warned me of this and it didnt bother me. Nice little bar at the hotel, and staff very friendly!
