Perfect location, bar surrounded could be noisy”
I love the staff and bed quality in hostel. Aircon is 24 hours, bathroom water pressure is good and always clean. Even location is good, but for those sleep early could get noise from bar surrounded.

Great place to stay when exploring Ho Chi Minh City! The staff were super helpful in booking our trip to Cu Chi. The guide in our bus was very informative and made us all laugh with his jokes. That aside, the hostel also has a wonderful breakfast included in the price. The ladies who cook in the morning are wonderful and super accommodating. I actually stayed one night in their 6bed dorm but liked it so much that I extended to stay in their triple room.

Cosy place with friendly staff”
The staff, Trung, was very welcoming when we first checked in. Location is good with convenient stores and restaurants in walking distance. Just a bit noisy at night as the bar and clubs nearby party throughout the night until 2am or 3am. I'll recommend to join their Cu Chi tunnel half day tour coz the tour guide speaks fluent english and is patient compared to other guide we met at Cu Chi tunnel.

I had really good time here. Staffs were very kind and always had big smile to help me. The location is nice and I went to famous market, church, and other tourist spots in only 10~15 minutes by walk. I'll stay here again when I come to Ho chi minh city.

wonderful stay”
I had an amazing stay at Suite Backpackers Inn. The location was superb and it was near everywhere. even the drop off points for local tours are also in this street. the room was comfortable and clean. staff are very friendly and offer good advice. I was able to book my local tour through them. saving me the hassle of checking out different agencies. all in all, highly recommended for a comfortable stay. I will be sure to book Suite Backpackers again when I return!

I would recommend this hostel. It's in a very good location for solo backpackers. The dorms are clean and each person has a locker, own plug outlet and towel. The staff were extremely friendly and even let me shower there when I headed back to go chi Minh to catch a flight.

Good location, clean, but squeaky bed. ”
Overall my stay at Suite Backpackers Inn was fine. It seemed fairly clean, the location was good. There is a travel booking agency on the first floor, so that's convenient if you need it. The bed I was in was pretty squeaky though, and I could feel every movement of my bunkmate. Maybe not all of the beds are like this. It wasn't terrible though.

Great Location, Free Beer, Nice People”
For the price I pay. It's a value for money stay. I reached the hostel by taking bus 152 and walked 15mins from the bus station. Departed for airport by the Ben than bus station, no. 86, 10mins walk from hostel. Situated in the backpackers district where nightlife and food was avail, the hostel has bed lamp, locker, hot rainshower water , plug (alittle faulty), no shoes policy, free breakfast, free beer, spacious shared rooms, very clean toilets, concierge service. Improvements points are the wifi is alittle lag but I prefer my unlimited 3G network. Aircon could be stronger. The bed could have a wooden board to support its sinking center portion.

I stayed in this hostel for 3 nights and i have nothing against it. They have free 1 beer a day, you can also request to have coke or water instead of beer. They have a very accommodating and friendly receptionists, I like Na the most, she's very patient and helpful with your needs. The room, toilets and shower rooms are clean, shoes and slippers are not allowed in the room. The hostel is situated in the heart of the backpackers area, near Taka plaza and Ben Tahn market. If you are a light sleeper then this hostel or area (Pham Ngu Lao or Bui Vien) is not for you, the bass can vibrate through the room, not a problem for me. They have storage cabinets but you have your own lock, otherwise you can buy it from them for 20,000 VND or less than $1.

super good value for money and friendly staff”
This place was an awesome base for exploring HCMC. Location was central in backpacker district next to loads of bars and restaurants. The bunks all have their own light and power socket. The lockers are huge and fit your whole backpack. Best thing though was the staff.. super friendly and helpful. We booked a day trip and our onward travel through them as they were the cheapest we found. Good value for $5!

One of the best dorm I stayed in! It is located in the most vibrant district of HCMC, so you can get all the backpackers' nightlife experience while a few minutes walk will take you to more authentic local restaurants. My host was simply awesome! I went out drinking beers with him every night and he told me more about Vietnam and HCMC that I could have found out by myself during my short stay. The dorm was very clean and all the equipment was new, nothing to complain about. Thanks again Bruce Lee =D

Private Rooms elsewhere are Better.”
This is definitely more suited for backpackers, which is fitting because Pham Ngu Lao is the famed backpackers area. Expect it to be loud sometimes, although not that bad. We found the same problem as the previous reviewer, that the smell of food cooking constantly wafts up to your window. And it is a very strong scent. No toiletries included. No bathtub, just a shower head. Crappy television. Breakfast was tolerable; eggs, sausage, bread and cheese. There are other hotels at the same prices (for private rooms) that are nicer in District 1. It's much nicer for a tourist away from Pham Ngu Lao. You're hounded much more for a sale on that street than any other. The only plus about the street is that all the open tour buses, railway office, and buses to Cambodia can be arranged or they take off from this street. The hotel is very difficult to find for your first time. Get very specific instructions. Overall, there are better hotels for couples if you're willing to be away from other tourists. Would not stay here again.

Everything you could want in a hostel. Super friendly English speaking staff, super comfortable beds, great showers (separate from the bathroom unlike many places in SEA), and the location is amazing. Literally a few minutes from the huge market downtown. Close to bus stations and restaurants. Couldn't really ask for a better spot. The hostel is rated as a 1-star and I would have to say AT LEAST 3-stars. In the hostel world, definitely 4 stars. Highly recommend ESPECIALLY for the price. Fantastic deal.
