Very friendly and helpful Staff. Superior Service @ a price below that of its Naga proper competition. Only situation was that the hotel had to be reminded that it was a reservation of three people, not two. Carmen became my first preference for all future stays in and around Naga City.

Very accommodating staff!”
- I got sick during my stay there and they were really accommodating to assist me when I was in pain in the restaurant and could barely move in my seat. They got a medical staff and they quickly checked my temperature, and asked what I was feeling, and gave me a some meds to manage the pain till I have it checked up in a clinic or hospital. - For the room, it was really nice and spacious enough. It was also clean but there were times that I couldn't tell if it was dirt on the surfaces or just imperfection (like spilled paint) remnants from the construction. - The breakfast food is also good! - The pool looked really nice, I was kind of sad I didn't bring any swimwear to take a dip! Didn't know they had a pool in the first place haha If I go back to Naga, I'd definitely want to stay at The Carmen Hotel again :)

First time to stay here. Pros - - Good comfy bed - Aircon was cold enough - Rooms were good! - Parking was good (but i doubt during peak season) - Location was great! - courteous friendly staff at the hotel and the cafe too and the guards too Rooms for improvement: - Maybe you can add up more varieties for the breakfast at Baba cafe - Well you can ask the cleaning staff to clean the grout at the tiles in the bathroom so that someday it wont have visible molds and mildew stains - There was a comment i read about the insulation of the room doors where in you can here the people talking along the hallway- well sad to say it was true... Overall Enjoyed staying here :-) Added this to the list of preferred hotels on my next Naga visit :-) Price is little competitive to others too

The rooms are very spacious. We booked two(2) superior twin rooms. The linens and beddings are comfortable. The big cabinet inside the room is a plus. The hotel is within walking distance from the center of Naga City (5min walk). The staff are very accomodating. I will definitely stay in this hotel again!

Pros: Staff are nice and helpful Breakfast buffet is good(Love the choco drink reminds me of baguio batirol) Etrike service was useful although I was hoping that they have it till 6pm. Cons: Don't get me wrong Carmen hotel is really clean and fragrant but I'm starting to see little bathroom grouts and stains so a little maintenance perhaps. Room service charge for baba restaurant should be removed..just a suggestion. If I were to visit naga I would definitely stay here again.

This hotel pleasantly surprised us. Great location, amenities, and cheerful staff. How we wish we stayed longer. Will definitely stay at Carmen Hotel again should we make another trip back to Naga. Two thumbs up!

The hotel is good and we had a great stay. The breakfast is delicious and plenty of variety. The only con is while the hotel is relatively one of the newest ones in Naga City, it seems like the staff could do better with maintaining the facilities since the sofa in our room look stained and there were some water leaks on the floor and glass window.

We stayed at The Carmen Hotel for two nights. The location is ok - a bit far from the crowded downtown area and the staff are very friendly and attentive to our needs and comfort. Our room is also clean and the food is okay. Over all, we are happy and satisfied. We will surely stay there on our next trip to Naga and will also recommend this hotel to our friends and family.

People here are nice and approchable. Room was big, cozy and new. Bed was comfy. Pool was clean and huge. Very convenient, as it's walking distance from Centro where the church and most convenient stores/fast food restaurants are located. There are also nearby laundry shops, bakery and kinalas eateries. The hotel is a jeep away from Magsaysay Ave and a trike away from SM. Really great value for money. You just have to deposit 2k which is refundable upon checkout. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone who wants easy access to key places and restos in Naga.

SQUEEKY CLEAN & BRAND NEW”
Very good value for money relative to older and more popular hotels in Naga. We ended up extending our 2 nights stay for another 2 nights instead of trying other hotels as we usually do. Breakfasts are great. Not too many selection but there is always a new combination of main dishes every day (for the 4 days we've eaten breakfast). The primary reason we tend to "hotel hop" for longer than 2 nights stay is precisely because most hotels serve the same identical set of breakfast food every day. So this is a refreshing surprise for us.

Great location ”
First time to stay and I was not disappointed. Great location. All Staffs are all very courteous and always there to greet and assist you of whatever you need. The room was big and clean. However the only downside is they charge PHP 1,000 for roundtrip airport transfers which I got for free from the other hotel I stayed the last time I went to NAGA.

Staff very helpful & friendly. Speed up the breakfast. Get decent marmelade in for toast. Sort out the hot chocolate.its so thick you have to use a spoon.I know the staff are still learnings.I would say it will be one of the best hotels in Naga .It will be good when all facilities are open.Then they have to keep up the standard. I would also stay there again.I live in the UK where you expect high standards.

We were here for the Peñafrancia festival and The Carmen is conveniently situated in Centro so we can watch the parade. The staff are all so courteous. The room is spacious and comfy and everything smells clean. We just wish their restaurant was open for longer hours because we get hungry at night.

Great Location for a Provincial City Respite”
I have stayed at the Carmen with my wife many times. The staff are continually fantastic and very helpful. They truly epitomize Philippine hospitality (and are trained at the task). Food is very good and the facilities continue to impress. I shall return most assuredly.

The location is excellent, if the purpose of your trip is to attend the Our Lady of Penafrancia festivities. The location is only a block away from the Naga Cathedral, and along Penafrancia Avenue where the procession pass by. It may be a few minutes by trike to Magsasay Avenue where all the good restaurants are located, but it is not a difficult commute.
