Great for budget travelers”
Pros: Friendly and helpful staffs, Clean rooms and facilities, Surprisingly comfortable beds, private shower/bath, laundry area, and the common room was a nice/peaceful place to hangout (included kitchen, living room and office area). Perfect location (restaurants, convenient stores, shopping, near public transportation). You can leave your luggage before check-in and after check-out. Cons: Would be nice if they added extra towel hangers/large hooks. Some people tend to be disrespectful to others and can be noisy. It can get hot in the room even with the fan. Other than that, I had a wonderful experience here and would come back.

Wished we could stay longer”
The bed is super comfortable, shower rooms & bathrooms all clean and ready, lobby full of all morning routine essentials like coffee machines etc. Also, a friend in our group lost her phone somewhere in Kyoto so had to ask the staff to notify the police for us. I wrote down all necessary information on a note page and tried talking to them in English and it worked! They helped us contact the local police station and taxi companies while communicating with us in English. They were also super nice. Overall 10/10 honestly much better than my expectations

Bang for the buck and comfortable”
As a capsule room, this is pretty spacious and clean. There's enough legroom for anyone around 6'1''. Every room has a safe box, and an area to keep luggage beneath the bed. There's a wooden rack to keep some smaller items as well. The room has 6 power outlets, which is more than enough I believe. So many shops around the area. Just get out of the building and you have a market district. Breakfast is available here, but it's paid. You can have it from their menu, but I guess you have to tell them beforehand. They serve beer as well. The staff was friendly and most of them can speak English very well. So, it's an excellent place to stay for foreigners as well, without having to worry about language barriers.

Great hotel and nearby the local train station in the heart of Kyoto City. Very closed to Gion street, Pontocho Park and many shrines in Kyoto. Lot of foods also located nearby the hotel and they serve free flow beer from 5.30 to 6.30pm. Definitely love to stay in this Hotel

This is the best hostel I ever have, the staff are really nice ans helpful. and most importantly is they provide craft beer in everyday 5:30-6:30 this is the hostel you cant miss

Capsule hotel with some room”
The millennials have great service, with everything I needed available. The capsule itself is nice, the reclining of the bed is a great feature. Noise-wise things are quiet, except for the rolling curtain on everyone's capsule. There is just no way to roll it up or down quietly. Showers are nice

Very good location, clean and very helpful staff. Just wanted to say thank you to Kina (not sure how to spell her name), I lost my wallet in Tokyo station, and she was really helpful when I ask if she can call the lost and found in Tokyo station and very lucky that my wallet was found, and Kina follow up with the lost & found staff to get my wallet to deliver to Kyoto at The Millennials. Very good experience in a high standard capsule hotel”
Very nice and clean, there are not a lot of capsule hotel allowed male and female stayed at the same capsule area, we would like to experience capsule hotel and we found Millennials Kyoto. The location is great and you got shops like loft, uliqlo nearby, there are some nice restaurants. You will get an ipod to control the setting of the room, access the hotel, the bed and the light, which is amazing! You can get free beer at certain time and what else can be better than this!

I enjoyed my stay at the millenials, as usual. The facilities are well maintained. The kitchen and lounge area is the best. Everything is provided. For solo travellers, you won’t feel alone if you chill in the common area.

Great location! Your sleeping pod can be adjusted with a iPod and the common area has a lot of space for people to relax after a day of exploring Kyoto. Great amenities, too! Would definitely come back again.

Very good for the money”
Definitely very good for the money. I stayed @ a millennials in Shibuya so decided to try the one in Kyoto. I got the "theater capsule" They had a projector in the little capsule room. Very cheap and works well for solo travellers. They also act as a wework station which was pretty cool and you can use their kitchen through out the day.

friendly staff and unique experience. located great in the middle of the city with walking distance to Sanjo and Gion. there's plenty of cooking and coffee making facility on top floor and there's also a co-working space. Bathroom and restroom is very clean and nice to use. not somewhere I would take my parents to but somewhere I would travel with my friends or brothers. Can also meet and talk with other traveller there :)

the bed is so good, is really comfortable and the bathroom and toilet are inside the dormitory which is really convenient. rhe location is between 2 subway station under 2 different line so you can get there by different train. there are many restaurant, supermarket and drug store near by.

Great location”
We enjoyed our stay at this capsule hotel. The only issue was the laundry. The drier wouldn't dry the clothes. I gave up after running it for three cycles. Had to dry my clothes at the next spot we stayed at. It was easy access to the shopping street, and to the train stations. The beds were very comfortable. The wake up feature on the bed was very cool. It was a bucket list item that is now checked off. If you need an inexpensive nice place to stay, this is your place.
