Stunning hotel with old times charme”
A boutique hotel beautifully inspired to an old traditional Thai mansion. Its architecture and spaces distribution is perfectly balanced. Rooms are large, extremely clean and well equipped. The pool is the most appreciated bonus for tireless guests after their return from the daily trip (please note it closes at 7PM). Breakfast buffet isn't big but the options offered are of good quality. The only defect is that breakfast starts at 07:30 and it conflicts with the majority of tours that starts to pick up guests at that time to go to different places around. I'm really sorry to add that staff at the restaurant is extremely slow and so it makes the experience quite annoying. A little suggestion is to open the restaurant also for dinner. The manager is a very professional one and keen to assist every guest with his competencies. Staff members are really helpful although some of them needs to practice more English.

Everything's great except the food”
This hotel feels like it's from an era where things were actually good and not just made to look good on Instagram. It's mid-range luxury, elegant, built well, with charming character and peaceful atmosphere. The breakfast however was comically bad, I recommend don't even bother going to the free breakfast and just eat somewhere else.

Incredible Stay!”
Chiang Mai, overall, is an amazing place. The Rim was the cherry on top of this trip. From the moment we stepped into the resort, we were greeted by the incredible staff and welcomed as if we were family. The "Jr Suite" was anything but Junior...it far exceeded any of our expectations. The suite was stunning, furnished beautifully, full of thoughtful amenities, the service was impeccable, and the vibe was hands down Chiang Mai!! I can't wait to return.

Central location 5 star hospitality ”
I was hesitating about the traditional look of this hotel, I was afraid that it’s old and mouldy, but it turns out to be the perfect couple getaway hotel we had! We booked another modern heritage hotel before this, and we regretted so much, as the RIM is great value for money. Friendly staff; free airport transfer; free transfer to market； Everyday there’s a free lanna culture learning session, brilliant idea! We joined the pandan leaves folding class! Every afternoon there’s free snacks for you to enjoy with the pool.

It was a great stay my family and I had at the Rim hotel. It was really quaint, green and the rooms spacious and beds comfortable. The service of every staff there was excellent - from the front desk through to the restaurant. There’s also complimentary shuttle service to and from the airport. Overall a fantastic experience and I would highly recommend staying here.
