when i read comments from others that the hotel room is small, i reluctant at first Then when i think i only stay for one night..i close my eyes and book. And after we checked in, i was surprised that the room was not too small..its average..the decoration is simple yet so nice..the bathroom is clean, the bed is neat, got extra pillow also..overall i was super satisfied. By the way, the coffee is soo good. Before i forgot, the deposit quite expensive, rm100. Afterall we can get it back after checked out. Just be prepare. So i recommended to other, if you come to kuala kangsar, please stay here!

One of Best Hippy Hotel!”
Ever watch a picture or vlog of a main character in a hipster cafe having a nice cup of coffee and some alone time on rainy day? Or if you ever want a simple, small room to crash at but still want to feel cozy while sleeping off the tiredness from your journey? You can definitely find both here, minus the little noise you can still hear from the mini hallway, they can guarantee you the quietness you need. Their cafe opens 24-hour to cater the 'nocturnal' guests with selected drinks at an ungodly hour. Drinks and desserts are at 'average hipster price', worth the try. Especially the drinks are quite good.

They produce their own products, the cafe drinks are very great and the room is super comfy. The toilet! is quite nice, wide, not even slippery and easy to use, they chose the material wisely for the price they are offering. Staffs are all super nice and eye-catching as well, both ladies and gents and in-between *wink*wink* Good choice of theme, hippy and exclusive, totally recommended

Attractive, modern and designer-esque, The Shop Hotel stood out easily from the rest of accommodations on offer in Kuala Kangsar. I made an almost instant booking after and surely was not disappointed. The space is as comfortable and cosy as expected. Other than that, I admire the systematic management to reduce wastage typical of hotel stays. You can request for secondary toiletries if you need it but essentials like towels and the conveniently 3in1 bath solution are readily prepared in the room. Also, it is apparent that owner is invested in the comfort for guests, beds and pillows are of premium qualities. I enjoyed many nights of good sleep on them. Superb value for money and will be back should I return to Kuala Kangsar.

I prefer The Shop compared to many other hotels in Kuala Kangsar and I frequent this place real often since 2015. That’s why I feel obligated to give a suggestion for the mold on the bathroom wall - pls spray some bleach. Tqvm.

Room with basic facilities but good comfortable stay. There is no refridgerator nor electric kettle, and the room is small but good bed and rainshower especially after a long day outdoors in the heat.

Very nice place situated in secluded place. But really the best hotel with nice deco interior and room. Although room a bit small very hard to pray for muslim. The bathroom spacious with good water heater. Lastly, the coffee very good taste. Will come again

Instagrammable Hotel in Kuala Kangsar”
If you wish to stay some kind of theme-oriented hotel in Kuala Kangsar, Perak, The Shop Hotel is not a bad choice. Before you step into the lobby, you already can sense the exterior of the hotel with a huge signboard. The toilet is clean and the bedroom is comfortable to sleep. Since I just want to have a rest, I don't mind the smaller space in the room, you still can put many items of luggage, don't worry.
