We have seen the Sonly Suites in a previous visit to General Santos City. Was curious to try it since we had a business meeting in the area. All we had to do was to walk 1 to 2 blocks away. Very convenient to know it's available on Agoda. Loved the wifi. Hated the shower/water splashing all over the T/B. Note to self: bring squeegee. Next time we will request a room with a window. At least we don't have to worry about breakfast.

Very nice hotel at a low cost”

I enjoyed my solo stay. The room was spacious with a very comfortable queen bed. Food was good and reasonably priced. The hotel was clean and the staff was friendly and attentive to needs. Only criticism is that they advertise free Wifi in the rooms and general areas. From my experience, this only applies to the first floor. I was on the second floor and could not see the network most times and during the times I did, the signal was weak. They should do a better job of boosting the signal from the first floor where the router is located.

pleasant stay at a reasonably priced hotel and accommodating friendly staff. the bathroom was too small,though. it would have been better if the mirror was placed near an electrical outlet cause one needs a mirror when using a hair dryer. but the size of the room was adequate plus the veranda was nice.

I was so disappointed with my recent booking with Sonly suites. The receptionist told me that i was booked via booking.com and not via Agoda, i showed my confirmation from Agoda but it did not reflect on their computer, instead it was via Booking.com. Further to this, i paid higher than what Agoda has quoted me because of the commission booking.con is getting as shown on the price breakdown in thw hotel’s pc.

Enough for a budget traveller because of its accessibilty. You can easily get a transpo: tricyle, taxi...etc. Very near to Gaisano, KCC & SM malls. If your staying for a few days, you have to inform frontdesk if you want them to clean the room. Room size were okay for a max of 3 persons. Simple breakfast meal. The only annoying experience was the noise from the nearby karaoke resto during d first night (Friday).

Non-user Friendly T/B”

Lodging was fine except for the T/B. There was no toilet seat. Had to hover/squat when doing your business. No hooks to hang your towel or clothes. Had the constant fear of dropping something in the toilet bowl. No shower curtain - water splashes everywhere on the floor. I wish they could provide the basics for bathroom use.

I would never stay at this hotel. It's not the way this hotel boasts about. This hotel is situated in a very noisy area. The beds are bigger then the room. End of our stay the receptionist and the manageress wanted us to pay again, i showed them the invoice, they did not want to know, so i threatened them with police and they let us go.
