Best stay we had in Siargao”
Tiki is located right in the middle between General Luna and Cloud 9. If you have your own ride, hail a P20 Habal-Habal to town or Cloud 9 or just enjoy having a medium length walk, this is perfect and most happening places are in reach. The fan hut is a maisonette and accommodates groups or parents with children well. The huts themselves have a very modern yet traditional nipa flair. The owner (Derick?) is awesome. You just put the drinks you take at the bar in the book and pay later. He's been very helpful in finding ways around the island and a great landlord for a week! When we go back, Tiki is where we'll stay time and time again! PS: 1 out of 5 for Food/Dining for this place has no kitchen/resto.

Very good bungalows especially for young peoplen”
It was very pleasant. The bungalows are very big and nicely furnitured. The Tiki lies very close to the kite beach which was perfect for us. The bar is very nice and invites to sit and have a drink. The owner and his wife are very friendly and helpful. They also helped us organising bikes or showed us very nice restaurants for eating etc. The Tiki is very good for Kitesurfers or surfers or all other travellers who prefer simple, friendly and local bungalows to a big concrete 5star-hotel.

Great Budget Hotel”
Our stay was good. Due to a misunderstanding on our part, we got a room with no AC. If you consider yourself an easy going, hardy traveler, the lack of AC should not be a big deal. Know ahead of time that there is no food at this hotel, nor is there a fridge in the room (which would've been nice). However, breakfast is available 15 meters away at Buddha. Dinner is 50 meters away at Mama's Grill, so all was good. Tiki does have a bar. Everything was clean, quiet, safe, and nice. Dick and his wife are super cool people. We can see staying there again.In the above rating questions, I hesitate giving Tiki a 2. I think the appropriate answer should be N/A because there is no food. That's neither good nor bad. My 2 should be read as N/A.

Perfect place to stay in siargao”
We were out and about exploring the island a lot but tiki bungalows was a great base. Very helpful owners and the rooms were clean and comfortable. Strongly recommend!

great place in Siargao Island”
The bungalows are well located, walking distance from general Luna and beaches and short motorbike ride from Cloud 9. The bungalows are really nice, all with private bathrooms, fan and with their own terrace and garden (great relax on the hammocks!) The owners are nice and helpful (a couple with a very smart and nice kid). During our stay there was no wifi and that's the only negative side of the place. I would recommend this place to a friend for a stay in Siargao.

We had a great time at Tiki Bungalows. Owner is a great guy and Tiki is perfectly located between General Luna and Cloud 9. He gave us loads of tips were we should go on the island and were to eat. Would recommend this place anytime to my friends or family. Thanks Dixon for a lovely time at Tiki.

Cozy Stay”
The place is very cozy - it's a place to go if you just want to feel being in a quiet place and live like one of the locals. It has a perfect ambiance to suit the life in Siargao. The room is also very spacious and pleasant looking. The only downside of this is that there's a lot mosquitoes (probably because it is rainy when we stayed here), so better secure your insect repellent lotion. The owner, Dick, is also a very kind and welcoming guy. Kudos to him as well. Overall, I would recommend staying here. :D

Worth our money but room is dark”
Tiki was clean and attends to your needs immediately. The CR was clean and efficient. The heater was working. However, the AC and overall the room was old. The AC was not strong to make the room cool even when it is set to powerful mode. The room was very dark too.

Your Own Bungalow”
This is not the cheapest accommodation around, but it is well worth your money when privacy and comfort are your priorities, and you get quite a bargain when you travel. You get a whole spacious loft-type bungalow to yourselves. Dick, the owner, is a very amiable fellow. During our stay, there was no staff to speak off. We were told by Dick that he lets off his workers during off-season, which covered the period of our stay (July). With that, the bar outside the bungalow wasn't manned and tended to as well. Those who may want to book this place for accommodation and stay in off-season may want to consider these.

Good deal”
We went here this January and stayed here for two nights. We had a bungalow so we have the place all for ourselves and that's a plus factor. The place has all the things that you need. And if you need extra things (like a water heater, etc.), do not hesitate to approach the couple who owns the compound. They're very friendly and accommodating.

If you want a quiet place to chill and close to nature this place is so perfect. The owner Dick was super nice.. I stayed at the Bungalow room and it was clean and big in an affordable rate.

Nice native bungalow”
Nice native bungalow that was reasonably priced. Really chilled vibe and the owner and his wife are super sweet and really accommodating. The bungalows are pretty basic. My big thing was that the beds didn't have mosquito nets which were a problem. The bungalows have a lot of mosquitos in them and I got some really nasty bites from the night we stayed there.

It was great. Dick, his wife and son were so hospitable, the bungalow was clean and designed very nicely. Thew location is great and there's lots to do in the area. Feeling very relaxed now!

Well the place is good especially the host is very approachable. ”
Well our room rate was about 950php/night so of course we're not expecting like a 3 star hotel. We don't have AC nor TV in our room. They provided 2 fans for us however the fans are too dirty and we can't feel anything from it so we ask the host to clean it for us and good thing they clean it for us. Maybe they can add more lights in the room coz it's too dark, and since it's ordinary room they might need to provide mosquito net, they can also add TV maybe perhaps AC too. But overall you'll not think of the room anymore because Siargao is really heaven especially for the first timers.

Nice and quiet”
Very clean and spacious room with aircon and hot water. Our room also had a rooftop, which is pretty cool. The only bad thing is that the wifi is not very powerful, but I didn't mind. I did miss a place to hang the wet stuff after the beach, though. My room didn't have one.

Good value for money”
We stayed for 4 nights and it was very good value for money. Just take note when you book if your room has AC or not, because we didn't know our room was a fan room until we got there, which was quite disappointing. I wish it was emphasized more in the room description. They provide electric fans, but the units are mostly old, and not very powerful. The owners were very accommodating tho, and we appreciate that. There's no restaurant in the resort, so you have to go elsewhere to eat or buy drinks. Since the place offers only 3 rooms, I like how it can be very quiet and chill.

Surprising Bungalows”
My husband and I loves to do Hotel hopping ever since.. We just don't want to slack down whenever we're on a tour/vacation specially having the thought that we'll stay in one place for a week .. We booked this room for one night, to see how it really looks, and it was surprisingly cute and it's actually good for 3-4 persons depending on what kind of groups you are. It is also close to this beach where there's a fish sanctuary that I find very cool..

Good Hotel, but needs improvement”
The location of the hotel was good/accessible as it was just along the hi-way. We did not find it hard to locate the hotel. We arrived late in the afternoon so it was quite getting dark and it would have been better if there was a bit more lighting on the walkway towards the room. With regards to the actual room, it was simple and neat. However, the bed sheets need some changing and one of the bed's wooden frames was already broken. The Bathroom was also neat, however the heater for the shower was not working on several occasions. For a tourist, hot shower is necessary after a long day of going on tours and on early mornings when it is cold, so it was quite inconvenient that we needed the host's help every time it doesn't work properly. The good thing about our stay is that the host, Dick, was very easy to talk to and approachable. I did not find it very hard to coordinate with him our needs and concerns. Will definitely go back here next time, hopefully there will be some improvements

Great location, lousy sleep”
Pros: Great location, near restaurants and beachfront Cons: Room was rather dark, poor ventilation, wifi was out of order We would have enjoyed our stay in Siargao better if only the place provided more thoughtful amenities like windows that allow fresh air to enter as we wanted to enjoy the rainforest setting. Sadly the windows were air locked or something making the room stuffy not to mention that it was rather dark. This is also the first time we didn’t get any restful sleep since the caretakers occupying the house beside our room were loud and raucous (loud music included)at around 2 a.m. every night disrupting our sleep. Apparently they were not considerate of their guests who need to get a good night’s sleep.
