The pool was quite dirty when we went there, even though they told us they cleaned it every morning. The water was kinda cloudy so I decided against going for a swim. I actually wanted to have a dip in Taal Lake but they wouldn't allow it. It didn't seem feasible as well. I went during a quiet weekend so the place wasn't packed. Breakfast was free. Food is on the pricey side (~200/meal) if you're going to eat during other times. Quite far from the town proper (~5km) so it's quiet. You need your own car if you want to eat or check out the other establishments in Talisay. There's adequate parking for ~8 cars. They close the gate every night. Staff was very attentive to our needs.

nothing much to expect”
A good place to stay if you are for a quiet time. Not too far from Talisay town proper and you can go to Tagaytay thru Ligaya drive as well. The room is spacious but the CR is not well maintained, no exhaust fan. You better bring your own food or eat somewhere else, food in the restaurant is so pricey.

Exceptional”
We spent our honeymoon there. We enjoyed our stay. The room was clean. The pool was clean as well. The view of the taal volcano was amazing. The place was great for taking pictures especially in the early morning and before sunset. The food was quite expensive though, good thing our booking came with free breakfast. We had to go out of the resort to look for places to eat. The place was serene and quiet. Overall the experience was great.

I arrived at the hotel late in the evening coz I was traveling from Manila at around 6 in the afternoon. But I called in advance and informed them about the late arrival. They had everything ready when i Arrived and the staff are very polite and helpful. I availed of the boat package tour to the Taal Crater Lake for 3k plus and it was an awesome experience. Food is okay, I would definitely recommend this place to my riends.

Small basic room perfect for our needs. Was so impressed by location and attentiveness of staff. Own boat for Taal tour. Only negative was limited menu with no dessert available after meals. Even some fresh fruit would have been nice. Highly recommended.

The place to see the Taal”
The place wasn't that great, but I may say, it's average compared to others. You can clearly see the Taal from the hotel. They offer boat ride going to Taal, which is great. As for the location, it is far from the city proper. There are no other grocery stores or resto near the area. I think, the hotel staffs are their greatest asset. They're accommodating and very nice. If you are planning to go to Batangas and see the Taal, you may want to check their place.

room is not very clean, cold water, good amenities”
We stayed 2 nights at this hotel and on start we had problems because we arrived by car around 11 pm and the gate was locked and no one would come to the door, despite our best attempts to scream and buzz. We had to jump over the gate to go around the property and find someone. Then we room wasn't very good, the mattress quite uncomfortable, and no hot water. We found a massive coackroach on the sealing on the second night. Another problem was with the boat. I asked if we had to pay for the boat to get to the volcano and the asnwer was no. Then to our surprise, when the bill came, they were charging us 1500 pesos, which is ridiculous given the place was completely empty and we probably could have negotiated elsewhere for half the price. So be careful with their charges!!!!! The view of the lake is beautiful though! very peaceful.

Nice place with a beautiful scenery. Friendly and helpful staff. Good and inexpensive filipino food. The place seems to lack guests. We were the only guests for 3 days. Also lacking maintainance: green water in the pool, cracking concrete parts. Small rooms, overpriced (seems to be because of the location) and substandard room equipment: no bathroom mirror, 2 hangers were supplied, but no cupboard or bar to hang them, small and noisy bed. All in all : 3 stars.

first room which they gave us was terrible, bathroom was not clean and the toilet has damaged splash and it smell really bad.... But they has changed the room, to bigger, this was clean, bathroom was ok and has nice smell. TV was not good working

Appearances can be deceiving”
The economy room doesn't have hot running water. Agoda have now been made aware of this and so hopefully will advertise it. The food was very disappointing. Pray that you don't have a group staying as we did who love to sing karaoke as you won't get much peace in the evenings.

Disasterville- my personal opinion.”
We took economy room and were put in the old part of the hotel. The outside door fit so poorly the ants, cockroaches and mosquitoes had free access to our room. Bring mosquitoe repeller. The unit was not plumbed at all for hot water. Showers were under a dribble of cold water. To get hot water you must get "Deluxe" or better room. Our room was an absolute bare-bones room. Don't believe this for a minute. Our room was an 11 X 11foot dump. The bed has an uncomfortable, thin mattress, and rattles when you move. There are no blankets on the bed to cover with, only a sheet. There is no fridge. They claim that it is a 4 star hotel. It is not even a 1 star. There is no beach and you cannot swim in the Lake because of polution. The hot tub by the pool has no water in it. Only debris. There is no internet. Food was mediocre. We paid for two nights but left after one. That was a good move.

the view was good but everything else was underwhelming. the rooms and everything that are inside of it are old. the bed smells and the television was not working. there was also not much to do there, so consider that if you're coming from a place far away from this resort. additionally, i asked them over the phone if we can bring food and they said no because there's a restaurant. however, when we went there, everyone brought their own food, even with their rice cookers and big water jugs. if they want people to eat in their restaurant, i believe they shouldn't lie and compel visitors to eat there. the staff are nice though.

Looked good on pictures but actual is very disappointing”
I booked four rooms 2 family rooms and 2 single rooms. I was surprised to find out that only the single rooms had complimentary breakfasts and the other two more expensive rooms did not. The place was ok but it was not as good as it looked in the pictures. The resort was also understaffed - the kitchen staff would have to double as cleaners. Food service was very slow and the food expensive. A breakfast meal costs Php 200 (your regular silog). In the bathroom of one of the family rooms, there were used sanitary napkins stuffed in the cabinet.

No activities at night besides the kitchen. Closed at 8 pm Couple stayed for 1- night But it’s safe - they closed the gate as early as 9pm
