Virgin Beach did not fail me 😍”
I came to this place with similar expectations as the rest of the beach resorts I have been with but I walked away with a surprisingly positive experience. This is the most genuine resort I have ever experienced as they stayed true to what they disclosed in the website. I was looking for peace and relaxing short getaway and when I left I carried an timeless and worth travelling memories that I am already planning my next visit. The staff were all courteous, everyone carries a smile on their face and would even greet you with your first name ❤️. The food in the pavilion was scrumptious from the soup to the desert. The price was all worth it. The bamboo cabana we stayed was clean and was perfectly situated for us to enjoy the beach front view and the cool breeze at all times of the day. The provincial feel was priceless, this is a beach with rich amount of trees, parasols, swing and hammock. Lastly, the beach is clean and not crowded. I love the serenity of the place.

Hidden Jewel-don't believe the bad food reviews! $10 for a very nice buffet.”
Love this place! There were only small waves in the water; The sometime fair breezes were nice because the sand is a bit coarser and didn't get picked up by the wind (so no sand in your eyes or hitting your face and also didn't burn your feet. Although, it was a bit rough on your feet to walk any distance, but you can have everything. Simple accommodations with your own bathroom and shower, with a mosquito net over the bed (yet I only seen 1 in the 2 days there). Room service was great with food, but a slight lacking with towels. No AC, but a rotating ceiling fan did a nice job of cooling. This would be an ideal place for a honeymoon or any couples getaway, as it is quiet and not very kid orientated. Woke up and opened curtains to watch the sun rise illuminating the sky and ocean from my bed. The water was very clean with no rocks. Also, the lights in the trees, hammocks, tree swings and beach beds make it a romantic setting.

Beautiful resort and my favorite in Batangas”
Top-class resort. Beautiful beach. Calm, relaxing, private, and void of all distractions. Food is pricey because of the meal fee but the quality and choices are worth it. They have a well-stocked bar and they assist you with free ice and water refills, allowing you to drink by the beach as well. Just hope the beers were a bit cheaper. Rooms are clean, and well-located by the beach. Highly recommended!

Great place and good food”
Beach is clean, food is good, place is secured and the Cabana was awesome. Only room for improvement though was the mandatory charge for the meals. Might be good if guests have the option to choose ala carte or opt out of the buffet. My husband was on intermittent fasting, he skips breakfast and dinner.

Rustic, quiet location, clean beach”
This place is perfect for what i wanted which was a quiet getaway. No TV, no wifi in rooms. The accommodations are few compared to the size of the beach so even if full, it felt we have the beach to ourselves. The beach is long stretch of fine white sand and clean, the water clear. The staff cleans and combs the sand in the morning. My sister was stung by some insect while swimming though. The staff we approached readily gave us vinegar as first aid. The staff are friendly and professional. Lots of place to laze around - hammocks, swings, lounge chairs. Buffet food is delicious! Pricey though for me at 1750/pax (mandatory) since i dont eat a lot nor take 2nd servings. Casitas are rustic , not modern but just right to blend with the environment. Love the big bathroom. We extended after checkout and were allowed to stay at the Parasols to wait for our lunch, have massage and lounge around til late afternoon. Overall excellent experience for me and my siblings!

Best beach resort in Laiya!”
We have been in this resort FIVE times now and it still amazes me! The staff are very courteous and accommodating and the food is great! We complimented the chef at least 3 times during our 3 days and 2 nights stay during our last stay. The beach place is serene and the best place for peace and quiet. This is our go-to resort when we want to a peaceful and relaxing beach. We will certainly go back many more times!

Beautiful Beautiful Beautiful”
I fell im love with this place, wide, long beach, big space with only huts, totally relaxing, beautiful, clean, very well kept. Beautiful beach, crystal clear water, good for swimming. Amazing area for snorkeling right at the beach, so many different colorful corals, fish and other marine life. But beware of the jellyfish 😉. There is no pool, but I find it all right, because it makes the place more relaxing and natural. We stayed in a bamboo hut, we really liked it. Perfect stay, I can only recommend and I hope I will come again with my family. Food was delicious. Staff was helpful and accomodating. Only a few people around. There is an anticipated Sunday mass on Saturday evening in a small chapel at the beach. 💙 The only con is the high price for accomodation and food.

We keep coming back! ”
We started coming to Virgin in ‘07 or ‘08, when all of my three kids were still very young. Just last week, we got to stay there again for the nth time & it’s still the same: clean, serene & relaxing atmosphere; delectable food; tight security & of course, the attentive & reliable staff! Whether it’s a long weekend, a family member’s birthday or we just want a break from the hustle & bustle of daily urban grind, we head to Virgin. Soaking in the clean, unpolluted air while admiring the beautiful waves & colors of the sea, it has become our sanctuary, our refuge. And it never fails to recharge us! My youngest is turning 18 next month. And with 3 adult kids now, I tell my husband that even if we become grandparents ourselves, I’ll make sure to take them to Virgin as well.

Exceptional”
The place is beautiful & clean. The beach is wide, if you like walking or running by the beach, you will not be disappointed. The service is amazing. For me that is worth the money I paid for. I brought my 94 y old mom, who has a hard time walking. The staff took care of that by carrying her in the chair from our car to the cabana & back. They even carried her to the beach which is far from our cabana. My suggestion though is that they should have a golf cart available for guests who are handicapped & seniors to go around the property, especially because their dining hall is far from the cabana where guests sleep. Also, maybe improve their food since their meal package is a little bit expensive. But overall experience is very good. I’m planning to go back there when I visit the Philippines again next year.

The overall experience was great, no stress whatsoever, from checking in to the scheduled dining hours, well organized and prompt service was spot on. We loved how even though they were fullybooked, we didn’t really feel the presence of the crowd. As for the food, we were hoping for more traditional dishes though, like inihaw, or Sinigang, but we enjoyed what they served any way :)

Relaxing”
We enjoyed our stay at Virgin beach. We opted to do it....glamping style without aircon and it proved to be comfortable! Mosquito nets were provided and the crickets sang us their lullaby.

It was great overall! ”
It is expensive. We stayed overnight in a casita. The price was 9k+. I think it should have been 2k lower. Anyway, it's a peak season price. Off-season price is lower. They should have stayed at that price range I think. The 1,750 for food is also I think expensive. Food is ok, but I expected a bit more for that price. Maybe more choices or at least provide snacks/meriendas. Location is ok. It's very easy to find. No rough roads. It's just that when we were there, it looks like all high tide during our stay and very strong waves. That's the reason why I'm only giving 4 stars. The place was clean. The casita is very clean. The area is clean except for some dried leaves. That's ok because it added some sort of 'art' in the place. That 'probinsya' effect. The staff is highly commendable. Starting from the guard, to the frontdesk staff who was very accomodating (all smiles), to the staff who assisted us where to park our car, to their food attendants. They were all great. We arrived around 9am and they allowed us to enter the resort. We stayed in a parasol while we were waiting for room to be ready/available. Not much for the facilities. Not so much activites, but it's also ok. I recommend this place for those people who just want a quiet place to relax. Overall stay was great. Given the chance, I will come back.

Enjoyable stay”
We were able to book one room through agoda and another one through their booking site (since already sold out in agoda). From the start, they kept communication with us. Always checking how many were coming and what time we’ll arrive —which we appreciated. It was a shorter drive from Lipa than we expected so we had lunch on the first day. There were many guests that day but it didn’t feel crowded. The staff were accomodating and very courteous, especially the front desk and service in the dining hall. The amount to pay for the meals feels justified —we enjoyed most of the food while some were just alright. Overall a pleasant stay with the family. Hope we can come back!

Truly a Haven!”
It was a surprise to me and my husband how peaceful the place is! A perfect place to relax and recharge your body and mind. We booked the cabana and my daughter loved it so much( she feels like a princess with her bed w/net). The room was spacious , clean and we are so happy with the extra place outside the room. (the balcony, Imagine having a coffee with a perfect view of the beach) I love the idea that we don't have any TV or Wifi too! Great time for us to connect as a family and we really enjoyed the HAMMOCKS . The mandatory fee for the meals are worth it. Food was good, amazing service, courteous and attentive staffs. It's a bit pricey but it's all worth it. Great Job, please maintain the cleanliness and haven feels.
