"The staff in this hotel were extremely friendly and helpful. They spoke and understood English well. I would certainly stay here again. I was booked for Bed and Breakfast but after wandering about Bled I chose the option of Dinner for 13euros in the hotel and was very glad I had made this choice. It was excellent value for money. It is in a very convenient situation. quite quiet but only about 2 minutes walk to the shops. The main bus station was just round the corner. If you stay here do not miss coffee and cake 2 minutes away, round the corner and up the hill in the baker's shop. It is delicious!!"

One of the most popular day trips is to Triglav National Park, Slovenia's only national park, where visitors can immerse themselves in breathtaking alpine scenery. The park offers numerous hiking trails, ranging from easy walks to challenging climbs, catering to all levels of outdoor enthusiasts. Guided tours are available for those who prefer to explore with an expert, ensuring you don’t miss any hidden gems along the way.

Another fantastic excursion is a visit to the famous Postojna Cave and Predjama Castle. These two iconic sites are often combined into a single day trip, allowing visitors to marvel at the stunning underground formations of the cave before heading to the medieval castle built into a cliff. This unique combination of natural and historical attractions provides a well-rounded experience that showcases Slovenia’s diverse offerings.

For those interested in a more leisurely day, consider a scenic boat tour on Lake Bled or a visit to the nearby Vintgar Gorge. The gorge features wooden walkways that guide you through stunning landscapes, making it a perfect spot for a relaxing hike. With so many day trip options available, visitors to Bled can easily explore the beauty of Slovenia beyond the town, creating a truly memorable travel experience.
