We had an amazing stay here,the location is the reason you stay here,the staff were very good,our lodge was perfect and i would highly recommend this place to anyone.

A clean and very reasonably priced place. The kitchen was well equipped, the grounds were pretty with lots of flowers. We even got a nice balcony with a sea view .

Pros: -Nice and clean area including communal kitchen -Spacious rooms -Attentive and extremely friedly staff, especially the receptionist

Overall the hotel was average as the shower was old, the service was spotty but the hot towels were amazing! We did have one person who brought an ice cream for our son's birthday. She was amazing! Otherwise, I heard one worker say she wanted to kill the Gringos and when I lost my phone they laughed at me! Great location!

Gran Bahia was very comfortable and spacious room..we had one of the best rooms with flat screen TV, split system aircon and queen bed. Our only complaint wAs the nightclub across the road which played extremely loud music until the wee hours of the morning for three of the four nights we were there. Wooden floors added to the charm of the place but also added a little to the noise. Staff happily stored our luggage for us when we went to Bastientos island for a couple of days.

Arrived early from flight and the cheery, helpful front desk gal let us check in at 8am. We had a room facing street which was really noisy day and even worse at night. Didn't sleep at all. The room itself was really nice. Comfy beds good hot water pressure. Told front desk gal about it and she was really empathetic. Called mgr, changed our rooms to sea facing with no charge. The view was amazing, no street noise, but zero hot water almost no pressure to shower with in room 5. Then a constant dripping from the a/c unit into the metal roof was the next annoying noise. It was a last minute get away to Bocas for us, if I could do it over I'd never stay in town for 3 days, rather head out farther. And the breakfast left a lot to be desired. Eggs were either over or under cooked. The nightly happy hour was great though

I spent 3 nights at this hotel. It was clean, nice, the stuff was ok and the beer was extremely cheap.

The staff was very helpful, the place is right in the heart of bocas town with 2 mins walk to everything u need: food, tours, atm. A bit inconvenient was the check-in available only at 13.00.. after arriving at 7 in the morning on a night bus. But the staff kept our luggages while we wondered around. We had 3 nights here - enough to explore the beautiful beaches around and go on a day tour to zappatilla. Overall a good stay but the neighbours are building just next door so there was lots of banging all day.. this is not really a “chill place” but it has good facilities and room size. If u want something chill to relax and lounge around your place/bungalow go to the other islands (bastimentos, carenero) or on the other side of bocas (the quiet side) - its like 15 min walk from one side to the other .. Also be prepared to pay in cash, almost everywhere..

Everything was great except sleeping in the tent at night can get very hot and sticky! Also the mattress had a lot of metal springs sticking out of it which wasn't great to sleep on either. Leo was amazing though and overall I loved my stay there!

Luis was very kind and friendly! We had a great stay. - the kitchen had a refrigerator, an oven, and all of the dishes/cookware - Wi-Fi worked well - no water heater, but the water temperature was fine without it - a minute walk to the grocery store, 15 minute walk to the water taxis - great place to stay if you're looking for somewhere quiet and peaceful to rest between activities

Conveniently location within walking distance to restaurants, bars, tour booking agencies and even the airport, the location is the best attribute about this hotel. The whole place looks a little dated, but overall the stay is quite ok if you don't set your expectations too high. We upgraded our room to the one facing the sea with a balcony and sipped on a coconut each watching the sunset, which was very romantic.

A really picturesque and unique place to stay. There is a very friendly and communal atmosphere. The beautiful deck space and kitchen meant that many people just wanted to relax and enjoy the view from the hotel and the owners were very accommodating too. It is a pleasant, 10 minute walk to the centre of town too. I would certainly recommend it to friends

We have appreciated the location. Near the Main Street, very quiet. The family bungalow was really useful but there was a few thing missing to cook properly. We would have appreciated that the room could have been made to empty the garbage daily. It was difficult to meet the lady who clean the room or the administration of the place. The WiFi connection was so so... not very fast. Something not existant at all.

Swan cay was a nice hotel with great staff, fab pool and good air con. The breakfast buffet was ok, after reading other reviews maybe our expectations for this were higher than they should have been. Hotel is being updated which is good.

We stayed here and absolutely loved it. This hostel is a really well thought out and cater for all needs and wants. Cooking facilities (2 kitchens) are perfect with every utensil you could imagine and super clean! Just remember to do grocery shopping before you come. There is a restaurant attached which served amazing food for a reasonable price if you prefer not to cook. It’s right on the beach so you wake up peacefully to the waves rolling in, best way to wake up! This is why we gave location 10. We dislike being in the city, so if you are wanting more of a party atmosphere stay somewhere else . You can rent out ATVs which are super fun as well. There is a cool bar and plenty of novelty games to play but it’s not a party hostel which we loved! this is way more of a chill vibe. We loved Skully’s and would 100 percent return!
