"Covered Bridge Inn is all that a I want as I am driving—a place to stay with a McD AND a Wendy’s sandwiching it’s entrance. The staff folks were friendly and helpful, and the room was comfy. Beyond the fast food joints, I also highly recommend a short drive to their local supermarket. Freshly steamed lobster for less than 8 dollars, anyone? Finally, I had brought my road bike. The staff assured me the bike was safe in the car overnight—it is that kind of a place. So, while my wife prepped, I took a bike ride to one of two covered bridges that are reasonably close! Nota bene: 1. Thé ride is very doable for anyone even in moderate shape; 2. download google map before you ride. I thoroughly enjoyed my overnight in Brattleboro, and the Covered Bridges Inn."
