Denver (CO) hotels & places to stay

Ember was absolutely sparkling clean especially the bathrooms! The beds were massive, cozy, and the curtains were a nice touch. Coffee was good and plentiful. But the two standouts for me were the well appointed kitchen (blender, cocktail shaker, dishwasher!!) and the very attentive staff. Phenomenal! Would come back to Denver for the hostel alone!

its situated at 11th street and is just 10-20 mins walk to 16th street if you intend to travel by foot. there is also public transport just outside the hotel to travel around denver. if room comfort is not your main concern, this is a pretty good choice.

I loved staying here - as a frequent solo traveler, my goals in a hostel are, in order, safety/cleanliness, an open social atmosphere, and a lovely setting. Hostel Fish passed all three with flying colors. I made so many new friends there, and the staff always had good suggestions of where to go/what to do. For the cold winter nights when no one wanted to brave the snowy streets, the bar and lounge areas were always hopping and friendly, with good, reasonably priced drinks and often a game or some funny youtubes playing on the projector screen. For when I needed some alone time or needed to get work done, there is another smaller lounge on the second floor, replete with outlets and comfy places to sit. All in all, Hostel Fish was everything I look for in a hostel, and I will absolutely stay here again next time I'm in Denver.

When I discussed renewing for another 2 weeks,( I had already stayed on prior booking for 2 weeks) I was told that I could book with them for a little bit cheaper price than before, and quoted me Around $468.00 for a week and that I could book as many weeks as I needed. The day came to renew and a different person was on duty and she told me it would be over $700, and that I could only book 1 week at a time! I told her what the man quoted me and she said she didn't know where he got those figures from and refused to lower the price. She was very rude! So I went to another hotel and booked for a whole month a a price comparable to this motel. Never will I go there again!

Nice hotel and clean room. Breakfast wasn’t great but we weren’t expecting anything exceptional. It was nice to start the day with some food. The location was outside of Denver City center but it’s easy to take the train downtown.

The location is not far from the airport and the free shuttle service helped me save about fifty dollars in Lyft fares. The room was a lot nicer than i expected and the staff add small extra details such as folding towels and tissues in custom patterns. It was a great stay considering my unfortunate circumstances. I would recommend it.

We really enjoy staying at this hotel. The location is really good if you need to stay close to the airport. The facilities are good

I found the hotel and staff to be very friendly and organized. I arrived on a Friday night and my daughter had a 7:00 a.m. flight the next morning. I told the front desk and we were put on a list and told to arrive right before. Everything went so smoothly. The rooms were very comfortable, clean and quiet the night we stayed here.

The fact that a premium price is paid to stay at a hotel is expected in this area of Denver. A fee to park after I paid to stay here is outrageous. My car is in your parking lot because I paid money to stay here. I should not have to pay extra to park in your parking lot. Ridiculous.

Lobby closes at 11pm. They are pretty strict about your selected arrival time and will consider you a no show.

The pillow cases has stains, the head board had weird glue spots on it. The lamp shades were dirty. The bath tube was dirty and had racks in the wall. The bed was comfortable and the floors were cool but that was about it. The items that were listed needs to just be replaced.

Checking in wasn't the best.....Once I was able to check into the room everything was great. Nice clean rooms, everything was just right. Breakfast was very good.

Updated facilities. Overnight stay for a morning flight out of Denver airport. Close to dining options. Shuttle service excellent. Overall excellent experience.

Marijuana smell everywhere Cigarette Smokers hover around every door so nonsmokers must smell and walk through the stinch Loud guests blasting music and screaming during night Great price but would gladly pay more next time to stay at Renaissance or Doubletree. Breakfast ends at 9am?! Wtf

The kitchen is described as "fully equipped." There was a nice frig, 2 burners, microwave & sink. But no coffee maker, not a single dish or utensil. It seems those items would be included if the unit were truly fully equipped.

I am staying at this hotel during the summer which I realize is prime time for people to be traveling. Every night there are a lot of people using the swimming pool, making a lot of noise and this situation makes me shy to utilize the exercise room which is right off the pool room. Much better to stay in rooms that are not on the 1st floor which is where the swimming pool is located.

Pros: nice modern rooms, spacious bathroom and comfortable beds. Good breakfast. Cons: far from downtown Denver.

This was a very nice hotel. The only down side was we booked 2 rooms, one of the rooms was to have a pak and play for a 1 yr old. When I checked in, I told the staff member that I needed the room without the pak and play and the others would be checking in within the hour. When our son and his family checked in, they did NOT have the pak and play. So 2 hours later, I went down to the lobby and asked about it, as it was way past the little one's bed time. The lady at the desk said she would have to go upstairs to get one. I explained to her, I mentioned it (to her) when I checked in as did our son. And it was on the reservation. She seemed to be the only person working, as the 4 times I was in the lobby she was the only one we saw. Although she was busy, I thought she should have asked someone to help get this as we did remind them and we had it on the reservation. She didn't really seem to worried about getting it for us. We did get the pak and play but it was around 10pm.

Very old and basic motel. It's about a 20 min drive from central Denver. No coffee making facilities and the shower was very cramped and low. Other than that, it was fine as a base, especially as it has restaurants, Starbucks and Walgreens within 2 min walking distance.

My husband was delayed in Denver due to a delayed United flight. Most of the hotels in the immediate vicinity of the airport were booked, so I found him a clean, comfortable hotel where he could crash after a long day of travel. It's not a luxurious place, but he said the showers were hot, the bed was comfortable, and the free breakfast was decent. The price to quality ratio seemed to be good as well. If you had more time, there is a gym and restaurant available as well. The Comfort Inn is a 19 minute Lyft ride from the Denver airport; it will cost you ~$20-29 via Lyft/Uber.

Love the remodel! Funky modern floors and furniture make it feel better than a Best Western :)

Would recommend this hotel very highly. The room was great. The bar come eatery was manned by a very well organised young lady, who seemed to do everything from serving a good range of beers and drinks as well as serving some super food. Manny on front desk was friendly and on the ball. If we had any negatives it would be that Agoda charged us well over what the Hotel itself was charging, if you were to call up and book ( or over the net). But hey ho, that's life! Enjoy.

This place was very well kept and the rooms are nice and clean. It’s what you would expect from a Hilton hotel. Price is good for value. Two things we noticed: first, not a negative, but there’s another Doubletree about 5 minutes down the road. Can cause confusion so make sure you GPS to the right one! Second, a small negative was that it is in close proximity to two railroad crossings. Light rail runs about every 15 minutes each direction so you can imagine train horns every approx. 7.5 minutes. If the crossings are broke, like they were for one day on our trip, the train operators continually blow the horn for several minutes each time as it crosses (as they should, nothing against them!). I think they shut down light rail for about 2 hours early morning so it doesn’t really let up. Plus freight trains. We happen to actually live by a railroad crossing so it didn’t bother us much, but it’s certainly something to think about if you are used to quiet while sleeping.

It was a great stay during our travel. I booked for 1 night at best western plus and when we decided to make it 2 nights there is no more room available so we stayed at embassy suite for the first night. The next morning we transferred. I was so tired that day, embassy suite was so noisy until late night and early morning. We went to best western at noon even though check in is at 3pm. Front desk was very accommodating. She let us checked in early. I was so happy because i was so tired, my 8yr old has fever plus we have 5 luggages. The front desk lady was my angel that day. I was able to rest, no noise. Breakfast was good and airport shuttle was on-time. Thank you Best Western Plus at Denver Airport.
