Find Hotels in El Jadida, Morocco

The rooms are an the small side but they are comfortable. The bathrooms are ok but bring your own wash cloth since none are provided. The bed is comfortable. Most of the services are very fast and good. The staff at the restaurant is helpful but most only speak Arabic or French. The food selection is limited but the food is good. Overall it’s a nice hotel in a town with very limited options with attentive employees who understand service. I would go back to visit in the future.

Needs: A covered place outside for breakfast. A place to shower the feet after a day on the sandy beach.

Exceptional hotel with nice rooms and a decorative relaxing area. The rooftop terrace is nice and has a great ocean view. The hotel is located inside the old Portuguese city which is nice but very dirty. There is not much to do in El Jadida so even though the hotel is nice the location is poor. The breakfast was OK so was the hotel restaurant. It was nice with an international menu card.

We only stayed one night in Dar El Jadida as there wasn't a lot going on during Ramadan so decided to move on. The riad itself is in the medina, which we liked. The owner was a friendly Italian and we ended up having a beer or two on the rooftop with him. Since it was Ramadan and nothing was open until after dark he cooked us dinner on the roof (which we paid for, of course) so that we didn't have to wait until then. The room itself was quite large and spacious, but probably because all of the bathrooms are outside in the hallway. Each room as their own bathroom though, so even though it's outside the room, it is still "private". The main downside of our room was the noise from the neighbours...crying children (seemed like almost constantly) and a barking dog. Other than that, if the circumstances had been different and things were more alive, we might have stayed another night.

Good suites - spotless cleaning and new bedcloths every day - the wifi could be better - the breakfast bufe is ok- the reception service is good. The best with this marrocean hotel is that the staff is mostly women -best for the cleaning - best for the food caring. I had booked a superior room, 70 euro per night. I got a suite for the same pris - without asking. I regard it as a good deal.

After spending 4weeks in Morocco... We stayed here for couple of days. The Riad is beautiful and priced okay. The room was quite big, comfortable beds and the rooftop terrace is beautiful. The breakfast is in the rooftop, most of the time, and it’s nice to get some morning sun! There are many restaurants and cafes outside the medina. Oh yeah, and a super busy market too! The guy working in the night is probably the best and only friendly staff here. The surroundings is quiet except for kids playing outside, which is lovely to hear happy kids. But... We arrived in the afternoon. It seemed like we arrived on a very bad timing for the lady in the reception as she was watching a show in the TV. She gave us a very bad impression because of her unfriendliness and tone of voice. She seemed to be irritated. There was no map in the Riad too when we asked for it. She showed us to the door of our room but without showing us around the Riad. There’s a TV in the room, which is a luxury in most riads, and thankful there’s at last 1 English Channel - BBC. There’s no enough hot water in the shower for 2 persons. The water is warm, btw, not hot. There’s also a grinding noise in the toilet that can keep you up unless you turn off the water supply. The bathroom exhaust is placed near the shower head with a wire hanging. It was not the most ideal place to put that! You can say that the renovation was not done properly. The breakfast was okay and changing, but can be improved. Charging €3 for Moroccan pancakes & breads, strictly 1 cup of coffee, 1 glass of orange juice and some jams is quite expensive for Morocco. We paid similar in Ibis and we got better buffet breakfast. There’s a working WiFi but super slow. In our check out day, there was someone in the kitchen at 6am banging things. We heard pans, cups and glasses. It was not like someone accidentally dropped pans or things in the kitchen. It lasted until almost 7am. We were up very early and just wanted to leave the place.
