"We were a family of 4 with two children of 1 and 4 year old. We didn’t feel comfortable on the common areas due to the COVID current situation. There seemed to be no extra care. The swimming pool was overcrowded. Other hotels have bookings for the pool and it’s not possible to stay all day. There was no safe distancing. At breakfast time there was the same issue. Although there were bookings it seems to allow way to many people at the same time. Although the hotel is good I will not return during the COVID crisis. "

"Casa Do Vale was well placed on the way into Evora coming from Lisbon. The staff were helpful and efficient, the room clean spacious and comfortable, and the pool a boon after driving on a warm afternoon. Breakfast was disappointing mainly because a bus load of guest departing early ate and drank all the supplies and the staff could not replenish quickly enought to cater for couples who rose later."
