I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Novotel Ningaloo Resort in Exmouth. The reception staff were friendly and helpful upon arrival. We originally booked a standard room but upgraded on arrival to one of the ocean view suites and it was the best choice we made. The rooms are expensive but price is soon forgotten as you soak in your outdoor spa overlooking Town Beach. The only downfall was the food and drink prices. Very expensive and nothing to write home about. For a buffet breakfast we were charged $58 for two people and the food tasted like it had been sitting there for a long time (yet we ate breakfast early, around 7:30am). For that price I would have preferred to eat at one of the local restaurants where the food would have been made fresh to order. You didn't have that option at the hotel. Otherwise, a great stay all round. :-)

We are very well-taken care by the Sal Salis’s team. Check out Sal Salis’s daily planned itinerary if you stay here. I’m caught by surprise for how detailed they can be when we found out the team took their time to read through the guestbook to look out for comments or suggestions which they can rectify or act on promptly. All wilderness tent is pitched on awesome location with full view of the beach. Before day break or through the day, you may have curious kangaroos visiting your tent from time to time. In the evening, you can opt to sit back and relax to catch the beautiful sunset just outside your tent. If Lady Luck is on your side, you may even spot humpback whale’s blow. Thank you for being so accommodating to my food preferences during our stay. It’s definitely memories for us to last a lifetime. Thank you Sal Salis’s team! Thumbs up 👍

The owners of our three-bedroom villa certainly left no stone unturned to ensure a comfortable stay. The lock-up key system provides easy access for late arrivals (after a 15-hour drive from Perth) and the first thing we noticed upon entry was the abundance of space. The place was as neat as a pin and fitted-out to comfortably accommodate up to six people (3 x double settees; big 6-seater dining table; one double-bedroom + two rooms with 2 single beds each). The kitchen area has a pleasant surprise in every draw: enough utensils to satisfy a 'master chef' with extra crockery, cutlery and pots & pans in a variety of sizes. The microwave/convection oven allows for cooking and heating options. The bedrooms have plenty of pillows for extra comfort and the two lower-level rooms have their own reverse-cycle air-con. The only negatives: the upper bedroom trapped the heat and only had a pedestal fan - no air-con. Also, the DVD player didn't work. Overall: very good.

Upon my arrival at Ningaloo Lodge, 4 emus greeted me. A nice start for the wildlife and sea life adventures out of Exmouth. The lodgings are basic but the common kitchen pool and outdoor areas are great and very clean. Staff went out of their way to be helpful and accommodating. I really enjoyed it as a base to go off on diving, driving and snorkeling adventures. I would return without hesitation.

John and Sheila really go out of their way to ensure that you have a good stay. Example: knowing she would be away when we arrived at the b&b, Sheila found us in our rental car line at the airport to welcome us, give us directions to the place, and tell us to go in and have coffee or a cool drink. That's service. They also helped with advice on what to see and when and provided excellent snorkeling equipment and an insulated picnic bag for our outings. The room was spacious, comfortable, and clean with excellent wi-fi. We also had a lovely patio from which to enjoy the views of the bush and the glimpses of the Gulf of Exmouth. Breakfasts are leisurely and the selections plentiful. Lovely diced fresh fruit of different and interesting varieties. I am so glad that we stayed there. Just watch out for the kangaroos in the driveway if you're driving at night!
