Everything was great , scut ally this is was my first trip to Nicaragua . It was a small adventure in a country that I don't know anyone. I was lucky to choose this hotel ; great location , most importantly great staff . They made my trip easy and wonderful ..they almost planned everything for me in order to enjoy every moment . From My trip to mangua to my trip to san juan del su.. Definitely I recommend this hotel .

This hotel was very cheap especially including a good breakfast. The rooms are spacious and clean!:) a short tour in Carlos car is included and I would recommend everyone doing it to get some interesting facts about the city! We really appreciated that! :)

Kind staf, looks very nice and cosy Getting a non aircon room was a bad idea Unfortunately we where there during the riots (week 16 2018), for safety reasons the hotel was on lockdown and no services could be provided outside the hostel, so we left sooner then booked to escape possible further escalation of the situation, but the management gave 0 compensation, so don’t expect compassion from this hostel.

Loved our stay at Hotel Dario. As long as you don't mind the noise from the busy street, the location can't be beat. We traveled with a 6 and 4 year old and they loved walking around the area and swimming in the small pool. Included breakfast had a nice selection. Staff was no where to be found when we tried to check in at 2AM even though we indicated in advance when we would arrive. Very few people at the hotel speak English so Spanish is helpful.

I stayed here for 2 nights, the lady speaks English and is very helpful. She put me in touch with a trustworthy company who organised my tour to Mayasa volcano and also to the 365 islands. She showed me the sites I could see in Granada by myself and recommend eating places. The internet worked the whole time I was there and was fast. The room is great, clean and nicely designed with comfortable bed. The hotel is a short walk from the downtown cathedral, maybe 10-15 minutes, I felt safe walking to the centre and back, even at night.

Lovely hotel, perfectly located, near a noisy bar which seems to carry to many of the rooms at night which is a great pity cause the hotel is beautiful. downtown Granada is noisy so perhaps this is a universal problem, but still loved the hotel.

This rental condo is out of the noise of central Granada but close enough, about 5 blocks, to walk to the Central Square. It is very secure and has parking on site. Breakfast has two options typical and one yogurt and fresh Greek yogurt both come with a huge fruit bowl, coffee and pastry. The service is excellent. There was a problem with my reservation that was handled by the manager in a very efficient manner. I would highly recommend this accommodation.

The owner and his son, Stephen and Toby, are welcoming hosts whose attention to the quality of our stay could be felt throughout our stay: from the condition of the grout to our engagement with the city of Granada. Toby's art fills the Hotel and serves as lively contrast to Stephen's understated design palate. this combination makes for a lovely environmental oasis in the middle of Granada. The location, though not right in the centre of Granada, is close to everything without being caught up in the noise and busy-ness of the city centre itself. Well priced, well appointed, and well recommended. Thank you gentlemen!

Nice hotel, good breakfast. A little walk to the main restaurant zone. The general manager is very kind but some staff at the reception desk should be more proactive.

The best position in town facing the cathedral and main square. The staff are charming and helpful with good contacts for boat trips and taxis. This is a really nice place to stay. It's a colonial building with rooms arranged around an internal courtyard. Ask for the upper floor or if downstairs avoid the rooms that back onto the street, and get the rooms with a small patio. There are a few rooms with their own large terrace facing the main square. Air con works well, shower is hot, cleanliness excellent. Bedlinen perfectly clean but not ironed to 5 star standards. Buffet breakfast ok but tired. head to the Garden Cafe in town for a proper coffee and crispy bacon.

Rob, (obviously from previous reviews on other sites) is the nicest, friendliest, kindest, and most helpful and honest host I've ever met in all my travels. The room was very clean, spacious, comfortable, AC worked well, complimentary breakfast was different and delicious every day, location was superb, and the common area was small but suffice. There are 2 very friendly dogs that keep watch for security so that's nice but they can bark at times that will startle you. All together, we give 6 out of five stars. Cheers to a great host! We stayed for 2 nights and loved the place. Rooms are really high standard and absolutely clean. Nice owner family as well. Best place at this price range in Nicaragua

The hotel is only 200 m away from the tourist street. The staff is very friendly. The room was very large with a little kitchen, but there was no dishware. Everything was clean. The bed was very comfortable and the aircondition worked good. For breakfast I got eggs, bread, rice with beans, fruit salad, juice, tea, coffee, it was good and enough. The only thing I missed was something to hang up the towels in the bathroom. But I would stay there again.

The Hotel is in really good shape and the staff is amazing. We liked less that the hotel manager converted the hotel in a discotheque for some of its friends. As a hotel manager you are of course absolutely free to do this - but I don’t want to pay a price which is way above average for Nicaragua to sleep in discotheque! Knowing that beforehand I could have chose a way cheaper hotel. Beside this rather unfortunate experience I would recommend the the hotel.

This hotel is really an excellent choice for travelers, breakfasts are amazing, location just perfect and the personalized attention by Horacio, the owner is a must. Without any doubt I recommend this place for your next trip.

Friendly english speaking staff, comfy bed, clean toilet, kitchen, breakfast included, good location and great atmosphere too!
