Guam is one of my fav places! If you can, get the ocean view as it's beautiful! You're in Tumon so with most hotels in the area (I've stayed in a multiple hotels in Guam) the rooms are a bit dated, but is fine. The staff was nice and courteous. The breakfast buffet is nice but a bit overpriced. About a 10 minute walk to the Outrigger. So far, this is my go-to when I go to Guam.

We stayed in 3 hotels during 10 days in Guam. This one is the best of all. And the price compares to the cheapest hotel in Guam is only $10 different per night. But the room, bathroom and balcony are big and clean. The hotel is next to the beach. We had breakfast in the restaurant is good (buffet for $12). There's a bus goes to every hotel, so the bus also stops here. But when we want to go to other malls or K-mart to get water, we had to take a bus to DFS(10 mins on bus) and then take a bus from DFS. There is a water boiler and they also offer tea bags and coffee bags. The beds are comfortable.

It doesn't gives you a feeling of 'Luxurious', but I can say that it is enough to satisfy your trip to Guam. The pool, location was just perfect. I think that Reef hotel is having the best pool & Location in Guam. Also, every employees of the Hotel was very kind. The room's condition was also perfect. It was very clean, and the bed's were very comfortable. Also, even though we were in the infinite room, we had an ocean view.

I staied 3days. I can say this hotel is one of the best service in the world. Even, the staff Lily who korean. Hers kind is over the classic. During the stay in guam. I reserved few activities. But there are little problem. Then Lily helped me so kindly. She call the company for me. and explain, slove the problem. I've never recieved this service anyother hotel. I really love traveling So I have been many awesome hotel for vacation. Here is good & cleans It's better than other hotel in Guam I thought it's looks like new one. Dusit Thani was great too.

I stayed at the Royal Orchid for 3 nights and I enjoyed my stay very much. The staff and chauffeurs helped me a lot and they went out of their way to give me what I needed. Just let them know what you want and they'll try to cater to your needs. I arrived early in Guam around 6am and they picked me up at the airport at 6:30am for free. They also allowed me to check in early at 7am without extra charge (usually check in at 3pm). The room might not be new but it was good for 2 persons. I had a king size bed, huge bathroom with a hot tub, shower, a view of the street and free wi-fi access. This hotel has the best location and is very near K-mart(5 minute walk) and Gov. Flores beach park (10 minute walk). You can also use the gym and pool if you don't feel like going out. It is also very accessible and Trolley buses pass by the hotel and major shopping centers. Food will not be a problem. You can dine at Tony Romas on the ground floor, Cappricio Italian cuisine and Calvi Korean food on the 2nd floor. The Jamaican Grill, ABC mart and other establishments are right next door. I would like to thank the management and staff for doing a great job. Special thanks. Keep up the good work!

Many folks who have stayed at some of the other hotels in Guam said they were less than satisfied. Overall this place is good. Decent snorkelling right out the back in Tumon Bay. Just walk right by the Tree Bar and go down the steps and you can rent snorkeling gear for $15. Go at high tide because the water there is shallow! Tree bar is nice. Pool looked a bit small. I did all of my swimming in Tumon bay. Breakfast buffet is good. Water pressure in the showers is a bit lacking. Overall, satisfied!

It’s been a while since I’ve stayed at the Verona Hotel. It came to me as such a surprise that they have improved. When I stayed there before, the smell was so awful; it smelled like mold and the place was had poor cleaning. My recent stay was terrific. The service of the staff was so friendly and I’ve even received a free spa service (which was excellent by the way). Not to mention the pool was fun and clean. Without a doubt, the next time I come to Guam, I’ll stay at the Verona again. Thank you!! I had so much fun! KK

The best thing about Guam Plaza is its location and value for money. The hotel is relatively cheap for hotels in Guam. The bed was really cozy. The room was clean! Also, the location is perfect! It's in the middle of downtown. There's everything within walking distance. Also, if you stay here, you get free access to the Tarza Waterpark. My friend and I enjoyed there. One sad thing was that when we went, a lot of slides/facilities were closed.

We loved our 6 days stay! Our room is clean and very spacious. Everything we need is available - 2 bathrooms, 2 closets with hangers, dining perfect for 4 pax and kitchen area with pot and pan. All the staff are amazing. Location is very convenient. All deserving for 5 stars. We will be back in Guam soon and will stay here again. Thank you Garden Villa and Agoda!

This would be the first time I rated the Westin hotel service so low given I had very bad experience here in GUAM. The trainee at the reception was checking my reservation for over 10 minutes, we were standing there, and then she referred me to the VIP counter where I am the JW member and deserved the service. She didn’t tell the staff my reservation and the second staff spent another 10 minutes checking my room again. I spent over 20 minutes doing check-in. I don’t know why this happened but I don’t think this is JW or Westin standard. The rest is all good, except the reception service.

I’ve stayed at many hotels on Guam. This is my 2nd time staying at Outrigger. But far, Outrigger is the best on Guam. Even better than Dusit. The staff from check-in to checking out provided exceptional customer service! Thank you!

I was traveling on business to Guam and stayed overnight, though I found myself not wanting to check out the next day. My room had great access to the hotel's WiFi and the best view that I've ever had. The staff were courteous and polite. The hotel restaurant was a bit pricey at for only myself. To be fair though, it was a gourmet meal of the highest caliber and I did have some fine Italian one with dinner. The only thing I would really complain about was the laundry. I arrived too late to have my clothing laundered and the self-serve laundry only sported threw washers and three drivers. That two was expensive at $4.00 a load plus extra for detergent.

Stayed two nights over the weekend at a mountain view twin bed room. After a busy work in downtown for a while, being isolated from the busy area made me very comfortable. Even the hotel is located in the mountain area, most of daily life functions and a lot of entertainment facility are accompanied to this hotel. Awesome golf course, nice water pools which kids can also enjoy, convenient shop with full set of commodities, laundry machine, restaurant, bar, bowling ally, kids play room, karaoke, etc. Not to mention, the beautiful georama view from the rooms was breathtaking. And if you ever need a ride to downtown area, they offer an hourly shuttle bus back and forth. I'm definitely planning to take my family to this place next travel to Guam.

Plenty of room. Clean, too. Nice and spacious bedrooms have no furniture -no dresser or drawers for your clothing. There is no staff on site so it's tough to ask for directions or other information which you need as a traveler. There also isn't a lobby area, so there are no brochures or maps to pick up like other hotels. The staff who was there was nice though, and let us check in and out in the middle of the night. The best part of this condo is the huge space it offers, and easy parking right in front. I was traveling with 2 grown children and wanted separate bedrooms so the property served that purpose. It is good for a big family or a family with grown children. We stayed for 3 nights but only got 2 bath towels each. No other towels -that was rather strange. If there is no housekeeping during your stay, the number of bath towels should be the number of nights you stay. We did enjoy the feeling of living in Guam, and the arconditioner was new and worked just fine.

the rooms are about par for want you normally find in Guam for $80 to $100. Everything in the rooms works fine and staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was nice. Having breakfast right by the calm water was both relaxing and wonderful. Have stayed her several times. My only con for this hotel is how they handle wifi access. The wifi always works great but you have to use an access key code for each device. and it expires after 24 hours of usage. so each time you re-connect, you have to re-type to code. not a huge drawback, but when you have to use the wifi a good bit for work, it can be an annoyance. And once the usage runs out, you have to get another code from the from desk(free). But on a good note, the wifi here is more stable than other places i have stayed at in Guam.

Once quite the resort, the place is all marble. High dollar build quality, but with the economy in Guam taking a turn south, it's barely hanging on. And not cheap. Nice pool, great empty beach and bay, Subway and Chaopraya (good Thai) across the street. Guambodians are not super friendly on that road (Marine Corps Road).

The hotel locates close the the main highway. If you rent a car, it's convenient. Otherwise not because not public shuttle bus pass it. Only hotel's own shuttle (not many times a day). Room is ok. Only the airconditioner is too loud. Totally I will say it deserves the price (it's cheap in Guam). Hotel staffs are all very friendly.

We had a wonderful stay. The hotel contrary to reviews that I have read, the room in the hotel where we stayed is very clean and spacious. The beddings are very clean. The staff are friendly and accomodating and helpful. To top this all, the hotel is accessible to major supermarkets and malls. It's within walking distance to affordable eateries such as McDonald's and also to exotic restaurants such as the Korean Barbecue right in the hotel lobby and the Chinese all you can eat lunch and dinner next door. Free transportation is available to go to KMart, Guam Shopping Center (outlet stores) and Macy's. To top this all the hotel is quite big for the price that we paid. My husband and I are planning to stay at Pacific Bay Hotel again a month from now when we visit Guam for the Thanksgiving Sale at Macy's and KMart.

The hotel was a pleasant surprise, particularly after reading reviews that were all over the map. Staff was helpful and friendly. My wife (a Korean-American) particularly was impressed with the Korean Associate on duty for networking her to key elements of the Guam Korean community which made our stay a great success personally. Room was generally comfortable. DId notice sheets were 'damp' my first night, but after unpacking clothes, notice they were 'damp' next morning. This is to be expected in a tropical setting where any dry material acts as a sponge and absorbs atmospheric moisture in and out doors. AC worked fine (in fact it worked too cold). Room cleaning service was outstanding. HOT water. Generally available. Hours between 5 and 6 am has heavy hot water usage because of Japanese contract workers staying at hotel who need to start work by 6 am. A computer for guests is available but uses Microsoft NT 2000 software, making it unusable to a Windows 7 user. However, Mr. Rafael, the hotel manager, arranged for me to use a computer occasionally in their business office and that worked very well for me. Restaurant is rated a B for food, and a B plus for service. I found the lighting a bit dim, but that seems to be true all over Guam. Overall summary: A pleasant surprise, well worth the money and a great experience. Would go there again.

I made my trip to Guam for the XTERRA Guam Championship and I only needed a basic room. The Grand Plaza is not the fanciest place in Guam but it was clean, close to everything and the staff is excellent. I've already recommended this hotel to my friend for her next business trip. This isn't the fanciest place to stay and I wouldn't make this my first choice if I was traveling with my whole family because I would like a little extra space. I got an excellent room rate and this room served its purpose. When I travel to compete in sporting events, I don't need fancy restaurants or plush surroundings. All I needed was a clean room with enough space to prepare my bike for the off-road triathlon and The Grand Plaza fit the bill. Before I go, I'd like to say once again how helpful and friendly the staff was during my stay. I felt that they genuinely cared about me and that means a lot. Three cheers to them!

The 2-bedroom apartment had big living and dining areas, kitchen with complete amenities, 1 bedroom with 2 single beds and another bedroom with 2 full-sized beds. The spacious living room allowed us all to hang out together comfortably. The ref, coffeemaker and complete dining and cooking utensils allowed us to cook and eat breakfast in the room. The bathrooms were large but when we took showers in the bathtub, water flowed out and did not drain away because there was no separate drain in d bathroom... The lobby had many couches for the guests to sit on, and the staff were helpful with information and calling for cabs... The hotel is located up a steep hill which is difficult to climb up or down on, but it is only a 5-10 min. walk away from DFS Galleria and The Plaza (in Outrigger Hotel) malls. Both malls sell branded high-end goods... We went to play in the public beach behind Outrigger. The beach was clean but there were broken bottle pieces in the sand... Micronesia Mall is 5-10 min. away by taxi, around $8-10. We got some bargains on K-cup coffee refills and bras in Macy’s during their Saturday sale. The Dollar Store is not typical as it had pricey items. We bought our breakfast in Payless Supermarket in this mall. Denny’s Restaurant was the best part of this mall. The food was just as good as we remembered. If you love breakfast food, you will LOVE DENNY’S! Kmart was a disappointment aside from some food items. Little Caesar’s was the highlight in Kmart - delicious, hot and inexpensive! On the other hand, Ross Department Store in Guam Premier Outlets lived up to its reputation! Branded quality clothes, shoes, bags and household items were in abundance at low prices! Taxis and rented cars are a good way to go around Guam. The Fish Eye Tunnel is a fascinating way to observe fishes swimming in the ocean. $10 for adults and $5 for 5-11-year-olds entrance fees... The Stone Latte Monument is a magnificent way to watch the powerful and majestic ocean.

My mom and I checked into this hotel and we were warmly welcomed by Mr. Donovan at the front desk. He gave us some info about Guam since it was our first trip to the island. The rooms we stayed at were cozy and I had no trouble sleeping. All the staff were super friendly and really helpful with our needs. The hotel manager even made sure that we were comfortable and our needs were attended to as quickly as possible. The hotel offers a free shuttle service to some of the shopping centers and also picked us up from those places. They could pick us up at a certain time or whenever we called. The hotel is just a few minutes from the hospital, Micronesia Mall, and Tumon. The 2 men working at the concierge were really helpful and told us a lot about how life is on Guam and some of the nice places to shop at. The hotel has a restaurant inside that serves delicious food in big portions at affordable prices. My favorite was the terriyaki chicken for breakfast which came with 2 cups of rice and 2 eggs. I noticed even the policemen ate their breakfast here daily. My mom and I stayed there for 4 nights and because the staff were really friendly and showed concern for our needs, they made us feel like we were at home. I chose this hotel mainly because I was taking my NCLEX exam at the UIU building in Tamuning which was just a walking distance from the hotel. For those who need to test at the Pearson Vue Professional Center in Tamuning, this hotel is a good place to stay at. In 1-2 minutes you can walk from the hotel to the testing center. Overall, this is a good hotel and the staff really made our stay an enjoyable and comfortable one. I'd definitely return to this hotel when I return to Guam.

this is a real hotel. compared to other cheap hotels, this is the best so far when it's on sale. the room is big and so is the bathroom. there's big balcony and good night view. it's next to the beach and there's a bar. the buffet breakfast is good and cost us each. we stayed in 3 different hotels in guam to try and we liked this one the most (it's only $10 more compare to the cheapest hotels in guam). there is a water boiler, tea bags and coffee bags. but there's no hair drier in the bathroom and if you want to go to k-mart or other malls, you have to take a bus to dfs(15 mins) and then take another bus from dfs.

Close to the airport, Kmart, GPO, Ypao Beach, and McDonalds. We spent the New Years Eve in Guam and rented a car, the total experience was awesome! The room has a spacious kitchen area, but I doubt if you can cook in there. We were able to use the MicroWave and the Ref. On our last night in the hotel, some parts of our body, especially the back of the knees, legs, and shoulders became so itchy, there are rashes as well. I looked over underneath the bed, I found a cigarette butt. Looks really dirty. The linens are either stained with a red wine, or a blood? Not sure. But yeah, we had a great taste of Guam.

We were in Guam for a 14 hour layover on a work trip, and just needed a convenient place to rest. The 3 adult room had 2 double beds and one single bed, a small kitchenette, couch, and large bathroom. It was perfect and a very affordable price. The staff was super accommodating, as we had 12 pieces of luggage to store and also needed a shuttle to the airport. We walked 1/2 block to a delicious Thai restaurant and the beach is just another 5 minutes walk. Overall, a great experience.

We were a family of 4 with two boys 6 & 9 staying one week in Guam. This two bedroom apartment was great for us as we had a full kitchen, washer and dryer and plenty of room to relax. The beach and plenty of restaurants were walking distance from the apartment. There is no swimming pool so we spent more time at the beach. Only complaint was the water pressure was low sometimes...especially when the washer was running. The management was very helpful and allowed us a late checkout due to our evening flight. We would definitely stay here again if we return to Guam...This apartment also had a parking spot near the apartment...we recommend you rent a car if staying here...but you'd probably want a car if staying more than a few days in Guam anyway.

we stayed here for 11 nights. the apartment has complete amenities except for hair dryer. :) there is a coin washer and dryer at the back of the apartment, netflix available, a walking distance supermarket. though, you have to rent-a-car because it is far from Tumon area were you can find the white sand beach, restaurants, hotels, and some shopping area.
