Checkin was excellent with friendly staff and welcome drink. Excellent 3 course dinner in private garden surrounds with log fire and personal attentive table service. Private tree house with large balcony overlooking the forest with local wildlife in the area. Relaxing and sun baking poolside with attentive bar service. Fantastic dining area with adjacent lounge areas. Ubizane game reserve 2 hour bush drive, sunset drinks and snacks, many giraffes, zebras, a rhino and other wildlife. Very close to Hluhluwe and Imfolozi game reserve. Hluhluwe town only 5km away, only 2km from N2 highway. Overall a perfect place to stay.

We enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere. My kids enjoyed the pool and we appreciated the staff mannerism and the advice given to explore the Hluhluwe game reserve.

Leopard Walk Lodge is a little off the beaten path but absolutely out of this world! Agoda Members - It's a hidden gem! The guest cottages are beautiful and extremely private even though they are just a short walk to the main lodge where there is a comfortable lounge area, bar & restaurant overlooking a waterhole for the reserve's gamelife. The beds feature "Cloud Nine" mattresses and we experienced one of the best night's sleep ever! The bathrooms are huge and have both shower and jacuzzi tubs. Outside, a hot tub allows you to commune with nature. The complimentary breakfast is very good and dinner was delicious although there is no a la carte menu. Food and beverages are very reasonably priced. At night, a group of up to four zebras will come right up to the restaurant's railing looking for a tasty morsel to be offered by hand. A great photo op! The owners, Janet and Rob Cuthbertson are delightful and very knowledgeable about the area and especially the environmental/conservation issues facing South Africa today. All the staff are extremely helpful and polite. We spent two nights there and wished we had time for more! My husband and I give Leopard Walk Lodge "4 Thumbs Up!"

Beautifully appointed rooms. Good breakfast. BBQ facilities available with Spar Supermarket about half mile distance enabling purchase of meat etc. Very friendly helpful staff. Only 13K from Hluhluwe Game Reserve.

Great place for the family, idyllic surroundings, daily visits from the local wildlife - nyala and giraffe - to keep you company. Website not very clear re things like cut off times for breakfast and dinner orders but worked out in the end and heads up if you arrive in evening bring food as restaurant and bar likely to be closed after 8pm. That said well worth the money for a great Africa experience!

We liked it. Location is far and road was under construction and we could hear the noise from the railway to our room, but otherwise more or less OK 3* place! Would stay there again.

We were in two, me and my sister. Very nice staff, we did try spa treatment which was excellent. They were flexible on our late arrival check in and kept the kitchen open. Nevertheless the price we paid was way too much in comparison for what you get. Here is the price for 2 nights, we booked with booking.com: EUR 300.34 TOTAL. Considering that in South Africa you get a very good B&B for 40/50 euro a night, I simply cannot justify a price 3 times higher: 150 euro a night. Food was average, accommodation in a dark bungalow with a tiny bed (not big enough for 2 people), we could hear our neighbour snoring all night, place crowded all time with tour buses and noisy groups. Wi fi internet connection not working most of the time (too many users logged at once), no car available to book for a Safari (they say it was broken but with 50 rooms, 100 guests occupancy in high season you must have a plan B). We were charge extra for dinner, the cats tour was at extra cost too. Now, we don't mind to pay if is worth, we don't mind to support a cheetah project but with this rates at least the cats tour should be included for the in house guests. Overall: for the price a total RIP OFF. We don't recommend this place.

Great establishment! Jacqui and her staff were great! House is beautiful, hidden deep in the cover of all the trees. My family thoroughly enjoyed themselves and there will be an encore!!!

Comfortable safari tents, includes all what you need. Main building with fantastic view terracce. Good food.
