To stay at Rolhal Livingstone Hotel is a must if you are interested in Victoria Falls. You have the Fall. Crocos. Hippos and many others on your backyard. Zebras walking around in the garden as a perfect grass cutting machines and many other anival if not inside the electrical fens well outside. Your room facing Zambezi a few hundred meters from the top of the fall. An easy walk and you can see one of the Worlds most interesting sites. Enjoyable stay at David Livingstone Safari Lodge. Clean and comfortable. Good food. A little expensive than what may be available in Livingstone although resturants appear to be associated with hotels and resorts. But it is convenient and you save costs of taxis. Did not use on site activity tour centre as we had prebooked online but it did not look too welcoming when we looked in the door. Made use of the free shuttle service which we found efficient, reliable and flexible for our needs. Recommend the Livingstone Island tour. Rafting was also a great day's activity.

Our stay at the Avani (formerly the Zambezi Sun) was fantastic. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The grounds had a very large pool where most of the children would congregate and play when not participating in activities. There was also zebras, impalas, and other animals that would graze along the grounds. Avani is a five minutes walk to the Royal Livingstone which made it very easy to get to any falls related activities that left from there. The resort also had its own entrance into the national park and was free to all guests. Overall, a great experience and would recommend to anyone to stay at the Avani.

The staff here is nice and friendly. The place is a little away from the town center, but it’s close enough to walk there, about 10-15 mins. Our only issue is that the wifi sometimes goes out. Besides that everything was good.

Ok, good. We had booked tour from the tour desk and people are friendly and willing to help you out and answering any of the questions if you had.

staff was great. hotel needs renovation. food is exclusively chinese so if you want bread etc stop at supermarket (good selection at the market)on the way from the airport and buy the food you want! they will cook it for you. order you eggs scrambled as that is how they will be coming :) hotel is a bit away from town but taxi's are cheap. the hotel has a driver but they want 100 usd a day, 8 hrs (12.50 usd per hour). take taxi's or rent a car. the roads are good, everybody drives properly and obey the speed limit, NO traffic!!! take the helicopter ride over the falls, worth the price.

Stay at Gloria's was very nice. I was used to staying at large 4/5 star hotels for this trip, but Livingstone was booked up due to a large conference. Booked a room at Gloria's B&B based on good reviews and was not disappointed. The location was in a nice neighborhood that was about a 10 minute walk to the main street in town. Taxi's all knew how to get to Gloria's and the airport was a short 5 minute drive away. Staff was all very friendly and made my group feel welcome. I would definitely recommend.

We loved the Kayube river cottage . The design was personal and felt like a colonial home. We saw hippos from our balcony and enjoyed swimming in the pool. Karien the manager was helpful and organised transport etc for us . Monene was a knowledgeable river guide on the cruise which was very enjoyable . We found Zambia in general more expensive than other African countries we visited but the fallls were amazing and Kayube a great place to stay .

The mosque across the street awoke us each morning, very early. Owner and staff very personable and willing to help.
