"Spent couple of nights as our base for Yosemite National Park (45min-1hr drive). It was clean and functional and definitely value for money vs. other hotels in the area. Hotel staff and guests should be encouraged (forced?) to wear Face mask inside hotel lobby."

"Nice hotel in Mariposa just outside Yosemite Nat'l Park southwest entrance. The drive to the park can range from 45 min to 1:15 depending on the day of course, but the views coming in are rather nice to say the least. The hotel is well located in the small town of Mariposa and right across from a small mini-mart and local chinese and pizza eateries. Our room was on the top floor and pretty spacious. The rooms are clean, beds are comfy, sound isolation is pretty good, and the bathrooms are decent. The only bad thing really is the blast from the past AC units...they're noisy rattling old timers. Other than that, staff very pleasant and informative of Yosemite and the Mariposa town in particular. Asked for places to eat and they gave me a binder with all the restaurants in town and their menus. It was a rather hot weekend during our stay, so we made use of their pool and jacuzzy...small but convenient. Morning breakfast was pretty good in my opinion: egg rounds, sausage, english mcmuffins, waffles, cereal, muffins, toast...it's a best western so don't expect lavish food but I was satisfied. Wi-Fi is so-so, sometimes connection is great, other times slow. I would definitely stay here again if making plans for a multi-day Yosemite tour. For the price, it's a great option if you don't mind being outside the valley. "

"Pros: location, breakfast, nice bed, clean room. We woke up 11am in the morning and miss the breakfast time but staff is good enough to provide us some cereal(very tasty), fruits and milk. Cons: everything is good but the hot water is not stable. Suddenly very cold and suddenly very cold. So I actually did not bath for 2 days. "
