Traveler impressions of Miami (FL)
People may be nice, still need to be careful at night. So many clubs and bars, may be many drunk people too, right
I didn't stay here too long but I loved the beaches and the art deco style of Miami cafes and streets.
It all depends on what you enjoy, but if it involves being outside in the sun or being entertained then Miami (especially South Beach) has plenty to offer.
I don't know all of Miami, mostly South Beach. if you like the feel of a little village within a big city, then this is it! beach, hot weather, physical activities all at your doorstep.
I was told it is a devil city with lots of crime. Everyone has his gun in pocket. I feel it is not that horrible, but dare not to go out alone.
Typical American city. Downtown looks nice from far away but is not attractive during nights. I recommend the Everglades national park, which is a 40 minute drive away from downtown.
nice place for shoppers almost everywhere Spanish people its like you arrived in a Spanish Country very nice
Summer along the year is the perfect word to describe Miami. We came on winter season after christmas but the weather is warm enough in the morning and humid in the evening.
South Beach is a must see for its beach and art deco buildings. Bayfront Park at Downtown Miami is good for a stroll and buying souvenirs.
Miami has a strong latin culture, it is ease to move around without speaking english, but spanish. It is perfect for outdoor activities, shopping, arts and sightseeing.
Miami is special. Not really part of the US as such ... you can live in Miami without actually speaking a word of English! Wow! Definitely has it's charm .
Miami is a good place to visit for vacation. There are many people who enjoy and relax themselves from their work on the beaches.
Miami won me over with my first visit there, with its weather, diverse tourist and cultural attractions, Art Deco architecture of Miami Beach, and its great beaches.
Great city. First trip there as we were meant to be spending a lot of time in NYC but due to Sandy we had to change our plans.
A lively city, friendly people and they have nice hotels, shopping centers and beach park areas where you can enjoy.
Miami and to a greater extent, Florida, does not really cater to tourists who do not drive. Attractions are far apart and in certain parts of Miami and Fort Lauderdale there are no restaurants or cafe within walking distance.
The beaches are long and pretty clean. Lots of people using them in summer. Water is very warm on surface.
The place has a very much mixed ethnics and everyone can easily felt blended in. Dispite the superb night life that the city offers, it is a rather safe city.
We visited Miami in July, and it was terrible hot (104 F). The city is nice. If you want to drive out to the city, use Turnbike road, as the rest are having constant traffic jams.
All year long enjoy beaches, nightlife, restaurants, and many more. Miami is a place where you would want to satay forever.

More about Miami (FL)
Of course, South Beach is where the Miami party hits a frenetic pitch, with what seems like everyone in the world is simultaneously converging on the beaches and dance floors of this exciting district. Most of South Beach may be exclusive, but the party is available to everyone, and even more so to those who are ready to splurge for the kinds of service and amenities this district can offer. The Art Deco district of South Beach is where visitors can find some of the best accommodations in the city, as well as access to the largest concentration of Art Deco architecture. The Latin population of Miami is among the highest in the country, if not the highest, and Little Havana is one of the best places to experience the ins and outs of the Cuban culture that permeates much of Miami. The thriving community of Little Havana has had a profound effect on the overall culture of Miami, making it feel as if it’s a tropical destination far away from the States.
