Best hotels & accommodations in Morro Bay (CA)

I have always chosen Best Western hotels whenever I travel. I love the balconie where I usually smoke while relaxing after a long day of exploring the places I go to. This branch however, is a no smoking hotel. It was disappointing. My husband and I had to go outside of the premises to smoke. However, the view from our room was fantastic! We can see the Morro Rock from...

The biggest issues were using a queen size flat sheet instead of a king size fitted sheet on a king size bed. It kept creeping up during the night and I kept getting tangled in it. The other problem were the floors were tacky in certain places and would turn your feet black. And the tv would switch off for about 2 seconds and cover back on sometimes without sound. It s...

Our family of four stayed here for a couple of nights on a recent trip from San Francisco to Morro Bay. Our Irish relatives stayed across the street in a newer and more expensive inn. There were few differences between the two but the price. We had a great view of the Bay right out front but we couldn't see the rock from our 2nd floor room. Our relatives had a wrap aro...

From my perspective, all of the important issues were met: the place was clean, room was not cramped, bed was very comfortable, services/appliances functional, near the harbor on a quiet street. The demerits were trivial things like a tear in the curtain liner, shower could have been hotter, hair conditioner but no shampoo supplied (oversight?) But I have paid twice ...

We compared this hotel to others in the area and we were not disappointed. The receptionist was extremely helpful and friendly, the room was well appointed, very clean and a quaint mix of traditional and new with a nice view to boot. Parking was available in the hotel. For the price paid this hotel was more than good value for money.

A friend and I taking road trip through CA. Our first stop. Very clean and the beds were amazing, so comfortable, sheets and pillows soft and comfortable. Owner recommended a place for dinner. Best swordfish, on dock, could not have been any fresher. Walking distance to every thing. A definite place to stay. Family owners so accommodating.

Not worth the price, the breakfast is served at the reception on small plastic plates, there is no place to eat your breakfast, you have to bring it back on a tray in your bedroom. The wi-fi was on and off the whole time, the bedrooms were really noisy, and the bathroom really needs to be redecorated. The only good thing was the location of the hotel, way too expensive...

good value at its price point room is simple beds are a bit firm for my liking but serviceable the 2 queens room is a bit crowded but that is common for inns everything worked hot water was fast and plenty easy access to the main drag of morro straight down the hill

There's no air conditioning and we were wondering if the radiant heat system is overridden by the management at times because we were only able to get it to turn on once with the thermostat. Either way there's no fan unit which is too bad because there's nothing to drown out the voices of other guests coming through the thin walls. We were stuck paying a steep last min...

We had a large room with balcony. Room was clean. although bit dated. walking distance to restaurants. however, we arrived town at late night and most of them closed by 9. free parking and wifi. We slept over to catch sunrise at Morro Rock during our road trip. Breakfast only coffee ( No tea or even hot water ) and old pastry which can be improved.

My wife and I driving from Los Angeles to San francisco. Morro Bay is the half journey so we read most of the review and choose Bayfront Inn. We reach quite late about 10.30pm, the office is close but there is a night duty manager, an old lady whom expected my arrival and help to to chick in. The service was amazing, the cinnamon roles/food next store was delicious. ...

We had a perfect stay at the Pleasant Inn in Morro Bay. Lovely, very comfortable room and helpful staff helped to make this a wonderful stop over on our trip north. Plenty of parking and a very nice cottage feel. Fish and chips down at the fish market were amazing! Sweet little shops and a great town to walk in. We loved this little town and will be back.

We have stayed in Morro Bay many times at various hotels. The hotels are pretty much the same. This hotel was in a good location and met our needs. I would recommend it due to the location in Morro Bay - walking distance to almost everything in Morro Bay. I would stay again if the price was right (I got a very good price on this hotel--better than others due to a speci...
