"Negril is relatively safe but we didn’t feel the level of security & door to our room on on the second floor with just a simple lock & latch was safe. There was a lovely & friendly Front desk lady & private parking is directly across the resort in a very busy street but the resort security assisted with the street crossing & traffic control which we were thankful for. There is an outside restaurant /bar & a particular woman serving us was very unfriendly in fact when we ordered lunch there she seemed bothered to take our order. As we wanted to sit out on the deck she said I had to wait for my coffee & take it myself with an arrogant rude tone. Same thing happened after finishing our food she yelled out to another bar staff to finish clearing our table as she wasn’t going to bother come out to the deck. She said it loud enough to ensure we heard. We couldnt wait to leave the cliff resort and in hindsight wished we had booked at one of the other resorts on the beach. "

"This really is one of the better value options on the beach, the Negril (and Jamaican in general) hotel standards are pretty low for the price. The room design is nice, but very badly maintained, we just kept thinking how much potential it had."
