Best hotels & accommodations in Oceanside (CA)

This hotel is the ideal choice in the area. Family all meets in Oceanside for vacation together each summer, we used to be all spread out but now almost everyone stays at the nicest and most convenient hotel- Wyndham right off the pier. Great views, only downside is the train (which never bothered me but if you get annoyed by this kind of thing it will definitely irrit...

Just off the highway but not noisy, 10 min stroll down to the sea front. Great staff throughout the hotel, we were there at the weekend so very busy but really clean, organised and the staff were on top of it all! We originally wanted to stay in Laguna beach but the hotels were twice as expensive, so glad we decided to drive down to Oceanside as it’s lovely and this ho...

My husband and I travelled to Oceanside to help out son move home after serving 9 years in the Marines stationed at Camp Pendleton. The first thing that upset me was the charge of $1.22 since I bought the reservations on Kayak. difference in money exchange is what he told me. The second thing that upset me since I was paying $125 a night is the breakfast was Froste...

We were there for a full week, & were very happy with our home away from home. Clean, well-lit, sufficient parking even when getting back late. Breakfast was nothing fancy but sufficient for a good day's start, saved us one meal cost every day, great value. Clean bathtub, with good water pressure & hot water. A few glitches: - our key cards didn't work on two different...

The hotel in general was great for the value, and it had a good reception area that was staffed 24/7. The room we had was a little tight, but given that it was the lowest priced room, it was adequate. I liked that they had both outlets and USB charging ports on the side tables and desk, and there was more than one on each location. That was a great convenience. Lightin...

One of the worst times I've had an a hotel. First of all, when I got there and walked in, I noticed a couple sitting on the couch and I heard the clerk mention something about trying to get in touch with the manager. (Two hours later, still sitting there. The guys poor wife was half way laying on her him trying to sleep). So during check out, I requested to use m...

All of the employees were kind and professional. We loved that there was a stove in the room with everything necessary to cook our dinner. The room was spacious and clean. The only con was no pool in this hotel. We enjoyed the breakfast in the morning before checking out.

Traveler impressions of Oceanside (CA)
We stayed in Oceanside only because our son in law is a Marine stationed at Camp Pendleton close by. We were pleasantly surprised to find a quaint walkable down town area with a very nice beach, pier, harbor, all accessible by walking or biking paths.
