As a very skeptical traveler,, I booked the Grand Dedale for 1 evening on my honeymoon. Upon arrival, our experience completely exceeded expectations. The staff was excellent, the facilities were very well kept, the food was incredible, and the overall experience was top notch. A few items to consider: 1) Location: The Grand Dedale is located at the end of a dirt/gravel road and it's totally worth the trip. 2) Food/drinks: Don't make dinner plans during your stay. I'm very skeptical of in-house restaurants, but the chef at the Grand Dedale created amazing dishes that were an unbelievable value for the money. The hotel also has pre-dinner canapés and sparkling wine before dinner during which time you can likely meet other travelers from around the world. Breakfast in the AM is wonderful! The hotel also stocks fridges in the main house with complimentary drinks. 3) Rooms: Our room was immaculate, very large, and beautiful. It is very thoughtfully decorated. We will return!!

This is a beautiful guesthouse full of original art, offering comfort, with excellent breakfast and smiling service assured. The view across tithe mountains gave pleasure every day and the swimming pool is splendid, set amid flowerbeds. Within quick reach of the heritage Paarl High Street and it’s vineyard.

My wife and I were invited to a function at Nederburg Wine Estate and we looked for a B & B close by in Paarl. We saw the photos of Lemoenkloof and decided to make a booking. Upon our arrival we were very pleasantly surprised to see that the establishment was much nicer than the photos on the website had indicated. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, the room beautifully appointed and the surroundings delightful. Breakfast on Sunday morning was enjoyed in the lovely eating area complete with the original "kaggel" (kitchen fireplace) and lovely log fire, which created a most cozy and warm atmosphere on a cold winter's morning. We recommend Lemoenkloof highly to anyone looking for a unique old farm style experience with all the mod cons!

Small hotel right in the vineyards of Paarl. Great feeling thanks to the special efforts and attention of Cerryn and Ina ! Internet is sometimes a bit slow

We enjoyed our stay although the location is a bit out of the way. We had difficulty finding it. Not much signage. The views are spectacular, overlooking the Paarl region. Our unit had 2 balconies and we could enjoy the great vistas. Service was good and staff were helpful in recommending area restaurants. Gardener did a great job of washing our car, a nice perk. Breakfast was good. Hotel was quiet but we were in the off season.

We were warmly welcomed by the owner on our arrival. The room was very spacious, clean, and very organised. On our return from the evening out to an event, we were pleasantly surprised by the staff who put on the airconditioner on heat for us. Seens that Cape Town has winter now. That was a big plus for me. The breakfast was very homey and we enjoyed it. We will definately recommend this accommodation to our friends. Thank you again for your hospitality. Well kept gardens. Property with amazing view. Very Friendly and helpfull staff. Breakfast was delicious. So many options to chose from. Very comfortable room with lovely koeksisters and welcome drink included. Perfect location in Paarl.

I stayed at the hotel for two nights on a business trip. The staff were excellent throughout my stay. The meals were well prepared and breakfast included a very good variety of options. I wish I had time to enjoy the on-site spa, walking trail to the waterfall, and trail-running in the area. Rooms were spacious and we might return as a family for a weekend away from home. Strongly recommended. When I experienced a problem with connecting to wifi from my room, another room was allocated without delay. The setting is tranquil and we enjoyed swimming and relaxing by the poolside and the olive groves.

Restaurant was good, views were lovely , location great but a two people unit would have been preferable.

A beautiful Lodge with great views of the dam and the golf course. Peaceful, quiet and helpful friendly staff that runs the establishment. The Lodge facilities is open for use which assist with your stay for making lunch or supper.

The accommodation was perfect. The owners and staff are very attentive and most accommodating. Annette goes the extra mile. I was really spoilt. Thank you so much

Fantastic option for a nice weekend retreat to relax and enjoy the scenery, mountain air and wine region. Very friendly and welcoming owner and staff, excellent food and a great place to stay among the vineyards and Guava orchids offering very good value for money and suitable for couples as well as families. The perfect location for access to the wine lands on the Western Cape, with the main areas of Stallenbosch, Franschhoek and Paarl within easy driving distance. Rooms were very clean and the pool and fire pit offered a perfect end after a hard day wine tasting! Stay was not long enough. Will definitely be back! Thank you

Very nice garden room. Clean and safe. Very close to excellent coffee shop, Coffee Cab with best coffee and lunch I ever had, also very big Super Spar in the same centre. All walking distance. Walking distance to KWV.

An enjoyable 2 night stay in order to attend a nearby wedding. Hosts were fantastic with a delicious breakfast served each morning. House was easily accessible and your needs are always attended to.

SImply amazing place! Everything is just first class from the moment you arrive until you leave. The attention to detail is another level... even your towels come wrapped up like a gift. Hendrick and Darrel are super sweet and helpful with whatever questions you have and their love of design is evident in everything (my girlfriend was in heaven there :-) and we got some great tips on where to find the best things). Location is perfect in a quiet area which is nearby to so many amazing things to do and places to visit. Special thanks to Rozer as well who was totally on point the whole time, always courteous, anticipating what you might need and going the extra mile. I simply asked for some water to top up the windscreen wash in our car and not only did he fill it up for me, he had also washed the windscreen too. So many great things to say about The Light House. Definitely staying there again when we go back to South Africa :-)
