Clean and tidy room Helpful staff Located just across a gas station which is convenient for refueling. But the light from it is so bright that without the curtain it will brighten your night literally. Lucky the curtain works just fine. Breakfast is compact and free. Overall nice place to stay if you have a car and planned on visiting the coast or surrounding area...

Coffee, food from vending machines, a discount at the Denny's on the far side of the parking lot, a pool that wasn't being used at 9 PM, and slow WIFI. A block or 2 from the 101 Hwy off ramp, easy access and easy to find. Staff was friendly and helpful. I requested and received a ground floor room. I heard people walking upstairs and talking through the wall until midnight. At $300 [and 2 or 3 stars?], this room was about the cheapest I could find on Agonda within 15 miles of CSUMB [Go Otters!]. A month before I got a better place thru Agonda, a mile from the Pacific and CSUMB, bigger, included breakfast, for $100. There was a major car race and several related big car shows in Monterey Bay. There were fancy cars in the lot. I guess I was lucky to get a room so close to Monterey for "only" $300.

Like the cleanliness of this place but they were serious about their linens...$200-350 fine for oil, food or makeup stains.....as far as i know. I have not been fined but i had to take pics to be sure they dont try to fine me! Bed was like a board but good enough for one night. Nice bathrooms and flower garden.

The only things I would recommend is maybe to add some more sheets to the bed. The sheets provided were really thin and didn't really keep is warm all through the night. Also to provided a larger variety of breakfast items like beagles and cream cheese, some other fruit other then just apples, and muffins. Other than that its was a very good bargain for our money.
