San Antonio is a family town. Great place to take the family for a few days. With Sea World and/or Six Flags Festa Texas they have all the rides and shows you could want.
Downtown Riverwalk is a great place to hangout out. Lots of restaurant, clubs, bars. The San Antonio Missions are interesting if you like history. La Cantra has some high end shopping if that is your thing. Of course when in San Antonio you got to try the local Tex-Mex food. It's everywhere and not hard to find. Great stuff. If you have some time and can travel a little I would highly suggest visiting the hill country just outside of the city. Places like the Guadalupe river and Garner State Park are not far away and are great day trips. Swimming, grilling and plenty of nature make for some awesome family fun.
It is really a traditional city with different kind of culture. The river walk is a must seeing place.
I enjoy the trip in San Antonio.

It was my first time in San Antonio and I enjoyed the place. I stayed downtown and yet it didn't feel as congested as other cities.
I enjoyed the weather. Everything is close to my hotel. I enjoyed the variety of food offered and glad that everything was within walking distance.
San Antonio is well known for the Alamo and the RIverwalk. The Riverwalk is a good way to go around the different shops and restaurants.
San Antonio is a moderately sized city with several major highways intersecting it so it's easy to get around.
We enjoyed the Golden Wok Chinese restaurant and nearby shopping malls! Of course the Alamo is a must see!
It's a lovely city. You can spend whole day in downtown for window shopping(there are lots of small shop who sell special staff), see the lots of different building(church, Spanish president building, Alamo Plaza).
