San Carlos de Bariloche hotels & places to stay

We liked Hotel Casita Suiza so much that we went on to stay another 5 or 6 nights. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Staff were friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was great. I would definitely stay again. Only improve in our opinion would be a kettle for tea/coffee in room.

great hotel which is very central to bariloche. hotel itself is very clean, rooms are spotless and very big. ask for one over looking the lake, a wonderful view to wake up to. pool area is a great added extra, same with spa and gym reception spoke good english and were very helpful, only negative comment is for some reason we were not allowed to eat in the restaurant whilst we were there. they said it was for groups only and we could eat in the coffee shop. in the end we ate out each night

I had a problem because thay asked us to pay for a Resort Fee. And your booking sheet reservations said that we have payed all the taxas belonging to the hotel. They were annoyed with AGODA for giving us false information. At last they did not ask to pay nothing but they wanted to contact wit you for giving to the hosts, false informations because you did not included to us any fees and you wrote that yes the fees were included. Please contact the hotel and be serious.

I booked 2 nights through Agoda and gave a credit card number, and I understood that this card would not be charged until I arrived (of course I knew it would be charged in the event that I did not come). In fact the hotel charged my credit card for the cost of 2 nights almost as soon as I made the booking (about 6 weeks before arrival). I was also surprised that the hotel asked me to walk down the street to a shop where I could photocopy my passport and then bring the copy back to them - most hotels would simply copy it themselves using their own photocopier. I have been told that people who checked in a couple of days later were not asked to do this. The reception staff vary in their command of English.

The facility was okay. But, (not the fault of the hotel) the hotel is right next to three bars and that makes it EXTREMELY noisy. The windows vibrate from the bass. I am 29 and thought I could just sleep through it. Not possible. I would recommend to stay else where.

Best Hotel for staying close to town, situated at the lake, breakfast is bad quality, internet is very slow! Almost unusable.

This was a great hotel for our stay. It was clean, the rooms were nice sized and the location was perfect. I would have liked to have a better view since Bariloche is so beautiful, but for what we paid I did not expect one. The breakfast was find for South American standards.

What a joy to arrive at this amazing place. After an action packed few days in Bariloche it was hard to leave this place! It has very comfortable rooms and a wide range of relaxing facilities!!

We really enjoyed our stay at the Hotel Tirol. The staff were were friendly and very helpful, in English and Spanish. The view from our room was perhaps the best we have ever had! The room itself was comfortable and the breakfast service was very good too. Just steps away from the Hotel is the main square and the main shopping area of Bariloche. Lots of great cafes and chocolate shops to explore!

We arrive tired in Bariloche ready to stay for a few days to explore and snowboard. This hotel was easy to find, comfortable, and easily accessed all the surrounding pleasures offered by this beautiful town...

This was not bad at all, as far as hostels go, the staff had no problem changing a fw details for us and happily spoke English or Spanish according to preference... A short walk to the center and around the corner from the Tarquino Restaurant makes it a nice location with a great view. Lots of extra provisions and all round up to scratch!!

The hotel was nice with a great location and a wonderful breakfast. I enjoyed having a fridge in the room, and the TV worked well. There was no air system, however, and it was quite noisy to have the windows open. On the sixth floor, even with the windows shut, we were woken up daily with the noise from Mitre St. Also, the internet was very weak and inconsistent. We frequently had to go down to the lobby to use the WiFi. We told the people at the front desk, but nothing ever changed.

Great location slightly out of town which helps keep traffic noise down. Staff extremely accommodating and friendly. Excellent cleaning service. Great stay. We extended an extra day it was so relaxing.

location best location in scbariloche downtown. 50 meters from the liveliest part of main street, at the corner of mamuschka chocolate shop (the main street has lots of chocolate shops and mamuschka is considered to be the best). room we booked a double room and it was really big with a queen bed and a single bed. free wifi, big working table and lcd tv. no frills, neither new nor old, but clean and very comfortable. there is a nightclub in the street almost directly below the hotel and some noise may be heard. but noise is not an issue. rooms have double glazing and are well soundproofed. just in case, if you are afraid of noise, ask for a room not facing the street (or a room on high floors) to avoid it. car parking the hotel offers you free parking in a private courtyard. breakfast the breakfast is complete with some hot food included –eggs cooked on demand, different styles. reception the attention at front desk is sincere and very friendly. overall excellent value for money and perfect location if you want to stay in downtown; i would not stay at another hotel.

We were 3 adults sharing a triple room which wss very spacious and had 2 bathrooms, which although they (the bathrooms) looked a little tired, were perfectly functional. Excellent breakfast anf friendly staff. .

Fantastic staff who were very helpful and the great views over looking the lakes and mountains makes this a good hotel. Breakfast is delivered every morning to your apartment and laid out beautifully on the dining table so you can view the breathtaking scenery as you eat, this is a great idea. There are certain points however that would make it even better. Internet access is free but it is sporadic and sometimes slow. There is no written information in the apartment about the facilities or surrounding area which would have been really helpful. There is a pool which is probably very nice in the summer but when we went it looked liked it had not been cleaned for a while so we decided not to use it. The beds are a little bit too soft. The views are great and the interior is clean and comfortable so it's close to being excellent if a few things could be improved.

Excellent hotel, excellent service, excellent food and vine!!! Very professional , friendly and helpful stuff!!! Fantastic view from the room to the lake!!! Very good location!!! Highly recommended!!!

we stayed here for a total of 4 nights... great location, right downtown and walkable to everything. the staff are generally friendly... quite young, and many of the foreign staff don't know too much about bariloche, but were friendly nonetheless. during the day the communal areas are nice chill places to relax but at night it all transforms into a disco complete with live dj and hoards of kids swarming the bar for drink specials. it wasn't a problem for us, but if you are not interested in listening to loud techno music pumping up through the ceiling until 4am then make sure you stay on an upper level. our room was clean but the toilet tank had issues filling up so we had overall the place was good value for $$ but if you are looking for more tranquility then the other tangoinns are a better choice.

Very nice, well located apartment with all the amenities you need close by. The down side is that at night the traffic is VERY LOUD and there are bars and clubs that play loud music too. We struggled to sleep even after a hard days skiing! The town and lake are beautiful with nice restaurants etc.. The Skiing in Bariloche is poor - the slopes are half way up the mountain so you have to get a lift up and down (which takes literally hours due to the ques). It is very expensive and for the price you pay really not worth it. I have skied in Europe, Japan, Korea and New Zealand....Bariloche is not in the same league! Do yourself a favour and go somewhere else if you want to ski.

The hotel is situated near the city but away from the noise and traffic. It faces a beautiful lake. The room is basic but comfortable and the staff is very friendly. Breakfast is basic continental but unlike other hotels, the staff was willing to cook us eggs, which is unusual by Argentinean standard!

The stuff was amazing, breakfast was good but the standard of room was, hm let's call it mistake. Old bathroom with mould on the walls and leaking wc, old furniture that need to be replaced, one source of light. Will do for 1-3 nights if you just sleep in the room. Wifi in room did not worked for the most of the time, we had to go to the corridor to find the signal.

This cabin was two stories with two bathrooms, a sitting area, a dining area, a well-stocked kitchen, and a very cozy bedroom. There was a nice view of the mountain. Lucia was incredibly nice and very helpful with recommendations and any needs that arose during our stay. The place is incredible and very relaxing! If you are looking for a remote, tranquil place near Bariloche (about 14 km away), grab this gem!

Professional and helpful staff. Spacious, clean rooms. With fireplace, hot tub and mini kitchen that allows to prepare simple meals. Beautiful surroundings. We Would stay there again!!
