"I was unexpectedly in San Francisco for 24 hours with a missed connection. I found travelodge on agoda with a very competitive price. It was strangely hot for October, so the photo of the pool got my attention. SFO info directed me to the free shuttle bus and I was at their door 2.30pm for 3pm check in. After waiting 5 minutes the friendly staff directed me and my 87 pounds of luggage to a ground floor room near reception. The pool was as nice as the photo and helped me spend the rest of the afternoon. Food was at the iHop next door, standard american stuff. I could see a McDonalds within walking distance, and there was petrol station with convenience store about 70 meters up the road. Room was clean (and a bit old) with a comfortable large bed and nice shower. The TV set was huge and had a good range of channels. Despite being right next to the highway my room was quiet. After a good night sleep it was a 5 minute wait for the shuttle bus and back on my way. Well worth staying for night."

"It's an older building, and it shows. The windows don't have safety mechanisms to keep it from opening all the way. The elevator is tiny and slow. We had a hard time opening our hotel room door, and it used a real key instead of a key card. And frankly... I loved it. It's quiet, has a good location near some good bars, and it felt like staying in San Francisco would have been even fifty years ago. I'd absolutely come back to this location. "

"Shuttle service available was good but not best schedule. Wait can be inconvenient. Otherwise, if you have a 6 hour or less red eye layover, this does the job for a comfortable bed and shower. And want to be close to SFO. Lyft is estimated $10 if you don’t want to wait for shuttle. But overall a two star motel. "

"We rolled into San Francisco on an evening flight and we waited for an hour before the shuttle showed up standing in the cold. We called a few times but it only came an hour later. As we got into the hotel, the front desk lady told me sh couldn't find my reservation and later we realised that I had booked the hotel a day later (I made a mistake and booked the room for a day later because I failed to consider that we flew out on a red-eye flight) The very nice lady let us check in and asked me to sort it out with Agoda and in the meantime. I called Agoda.com on my Skype using the wonderful free wifi in the room (it was excellent connection) and sort it out with the Agoda officer within mins and I didn't get any extra charges. Excellent customer service. Thumbs up to both the hotel and Agoda!!"

"This is my 2nd visit to the Zephyr as it's a great location for Escape athletes. The hotel is clean, quiet and a great place to rest before the race and recover afterwards While the Wharf around the corner is not a lot of fun, proximity to the race site @ Marina Green is worth it. And by walking a few blocks north, you can explore all of the fine cafes and restaurants that San Francisco has to offer."

"The first thing i noticed was that i started to wonder if i had the wrong address. Then i saw the building a secured and gated facility with one way in and out at night. Then i went inside and the tenent at the window was actually very nice, respectful and overall made us feel welcome. My gf used to manage big hotels in europe and she said he was very nice. We had gotten this room last min on agoda which was my first time using them but was very easy. We went and parked near our room and went inside. The room was very clean and maintained. The amenities were pleasant and we felt we got a good price. The wifi worked the tv was new the bath and the sink were seperate which is better for when two people are staying together. The curtain in the bath was curved which made for a better experience where your not sticking to the shower curtain which is never desirable. The only thing i would have wanted was for the room to be properly aired out but over all great! Will be coming back. Thank u!"
