I think this place is perfect for families, especially those with little children. It would be a great hotel if you didn't want to go and see other places on the island so much. However, if you prefer to go around Mahe, it's best to rent a car when staying in this hotel. Aside from that, it was great! Food was great and drinks were reasonably priced compared to most of the other hotels in Seychelles.

There is always a risk with staying in a new hotel. Previous reviews suggested there were teething problems with the Savoy Seychelles, but fortunately, we shouldn't have been concerned. The hotel is a superb facility with little expense having been spared in its outfitting. From the rooms, which were beautifully appointed, the large and functional bathrooms, wide balconies and superb vista, to the well designed restaurants, pool area, foyers and library, there was little if anything to fault. In fact, there is something special about staying in a new venue, knowing few people have experienced what you have (or worn it out!). The staff were enthusiastic and most accommodating, with any minor complaint acted on almost immediately. One can walk to the beach in less than a minute and the clean white sand and hotel sunbeds make it really inviting. Several sunsets were spent having cocktails at the hotel's "Gecko Bar" close to the beach. Dining here and in the hotel's other two restaurants was a pleasure. Prices are not on the cheap side, but this has to be expected in such an isolated country, and they compare favourably with other local venues (there are several conveniently close restaurants). We had some minor suggestions for the staff: open up a pool bar (which would be very easily done) and have a more open booking system for the tennis court. They suggested these points were already being acted on. In short, we would thoroughly recommend anyone coming to the Seychelles to stay at the Savoy. In fact, rethink where else you were going and go to the Seychelles instead!

Right from the time we got to the hotel the staff were very friendly and advised us very well on things to do (as we were a family of 4 - 2 adults and 2 children) and were to go and how to save money were we could. This advise actually made a big difference as Seychelles is very expensive. The hotel breakfast is very good with a lot of choice and absolutely worth it. The only down side is that the hotel has very little choice for vegetarians but this is a problem across Seychelles, but with in the hotel there is an Indian restaurant serving veg food and if you dont mind pizzas/pastas through out then there are many options in and out of the hotel. But if you love sea food then I would recommend the hotel bbq at the poolside during lunch hours - just amazing. The rooms were a little small but manageable but most notable was the internet speed, was really great in the room as well as the other areas of the hotel. Outside the hotel a lot there are quite a number of convenience stores, restaurants and car hire places. We had hired a car and this was the best & cheapest way to get a round to discover the island and the best thing was that we could drop the car off at the airport so we did not have to hire a cab to get there.

We stayed in and visited 7 of the best resorts in the Seychelles and all were amazing but this is the best. Simply cannot fault it in any way. We were devastated to leave and even more so now that we are home! Ryan was our GEM and was the best person I have ever encountered in the hospitality sector. Nothing was too small or too big for him to help us with. The villas are literally out of this world. I was blown away. It was worth every. single. penny. Again, seen some ridiculous reviews on this place and I just cannot fathom what people would expect or what could have gone wrong in such a heavenly place.

We had an amazing time in Banyan Tree. Perfect picturesque location, best breakfast views ever. Long and mostly empty beach Anse Intendance with quite some waves is maybe not that great for swimming but amazing for walking along and just jumping in the water next to the shore. And for fabulous pictures. We had our wedding ceremony at the beach and it was the fairytale experience. Couldn’t have picked up a better spot. The territory of the hotel is huge, we had nice walks to the breakfast and used the buggy rides for dinners. Our hill top villa had an amazing ocean view (a little bit sideways but still great). I would definitely recommend hillside villas for their astounding ocean views. All the villas are built in a pretty colonial style, are comfortable and clean. Private infinity pool is just fabulous. Very friendly helpful staff. Best breakfast buffet we had in Seychelles (and we stayed in several more 5 star hotels). The 3 restaurants offer a wide menu, always something for everyone. Frankly I didn’t like the Thai one, but maybe it was just the bad choice if dish. The wild nature sanctuary deserves a praise. Friendly staff and unforgettable time with giant turtles. I wish we went there every day of our stay! Would never expect turtles to be so friendly and affectionate! Amazing experience, total must go. We will definitely return for one of our wedding anniversaries!

The Le Duc the Praslin Hotel was one of three hotels during my stay at the Seychelles and I liked all three hotels but this review is about this hotel. The hotel is at the north side of the island and as I understood the best side of the island to stay this part of year (early September) and a good location to travel to the famous beach of Anse Lazio (in my case by public transport). The beach at the hotel is almost 2 kilometer long and is a public beach but in front of the hotel it is mainly used by guests. This is a nice beach with shallow water. The hotel itself was a luxurious hotel that was still cosy as it was not to big. Our room was spacious and clean. The staff was very nice and helpful. Although the restaurant was not open for dinner the breakfast was excellent (combination of local fruits and European food). For the dinner we went to the nearby town (200 meters max), that offered restaurants in different price ranges. I had a really nice couple of days at this hotel.

Seychelles Islands are absolutely stunning but very expensive. We didn't realise but we had only booked breakfast (not half board) so that cost of eating at the hotel was quite high and because it is so far away from everything we only ate there. The hotel itself is absolutely beautiful, staff are great and fantastic facilities (go to the spa, its heaven!) - but for what you pay, I really did expect more. The room was nice, nothing spectacular but quite comfortable - two downsides - our ceiling fan didn't go faster than the lowest speed and the internet was fairly slow. From our back door we had lovely views of our pool area and the beach and a little island. Being able to walk out to the island was fun and the pool closest to our room had an amazing view of the beach, this was the best part. We paid 180 euros for transfers (approx 45 minute drive each way) which was outrageous but at least we had confirmed means of transport. Overall, without thinking about the money spent we had a BEAUTIFUL and relaxing stay at this resort.

We stayed for 7 nights at Paradise Sun Hotel and this was the best vacation we had on Seychelles. Maybe the hotel did not had the best interior design compared to the others we stayed but they had an amazing team of very enthusiastic people who did absolutely their best to pamper all guests. This is what I will remember most - beautiful location and great dedicated staff. Keep up good work guys.

Spent 6 nights here for our entire stay on Praslin and it was excellent! Located 10 minutes by foot from the town of Anse Volbert, it was close enough to be comfortable to get supplies from the shops and go to restaurants, but just far enough for the amazing beach to feel quiet and remote. The pool is very nice and the beach was just great. The room was clean and comfortable and had a nice balcony with view to the garden and the beach. The breakfast was above average for Seychelles and we enjoyed it, and dinner at the hotel restaurant was very good. Lunch snacks by the pool were also good. The staff was very kind and helpful - reception, housekeeping, waiters, poolside, everyone! Overall highly recommended, we would love to go there again! :)

We stayed here from 14 to 18 January 2018. We booked a deluxe room and had a great stay. The staff were attentive to our needs and provided excellent service both room service and house keeping. Our room was spacious , neat and very clean. Generally Seychelles is a very expensive place, and compared to other hotels this was cheaper but I suppose the deluxe rooms are the best. We had no problems with wifi connectivity and have balcony space to sit out on the deck of your room and take in the breeze. The food prices at the hotel restaurants was still cheaper than some of the beach front restaurants. We did not try any take away food carts, so I can only compare restaurant to restaurant prices. This hotel is located on the beach and I would not hesitate to stay here again if I went back to the Seychelles

MAIA luxury hotel was one of the best hotels we ever stayed at. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel overlooks the beautiful ocean and has very private villas that are very private but with an outstanding view. Nehemiah our butler was PHENOMENAL!! Would do it again in a heart beat

This hotel lived up to its write up on the Agoda page. Our beach facing room was spacious, clean and comfortable but perhaps a little basic in furniture. The A frame lodges looked better but many are in the garden not on the beach side; so be careful what you book. A very pleasant environment with a good food service and friendly helpful staff. Everyone says the people in Seychelles are friendly but here the staff positively offered help and advice to get the maximum benefit from our short stay. The hotel offers a free transfer to/from the ferry terminal, which is useful if you have baggage, although it is quite an easy walk otherwise. One word of warning; if you are dropped off by a taxi/truck the entrance 'office' is often unmanned and the real reception is a short walk along the footpath. Does that seem a little relaxed and casual? Yes but that is the lifestyle on La Digue and why you go there!

We stayed at 3 hotels in the Seychelles and his was by far the cheapest. Our expectations were low but we were surprised by how good this hotel is. We booked a standard room and it had nice decor, good facilities and was very clean - everything functioned as it should and we had no complaints. The hotel is well managed and every member of staff we saw was friendly, hard-working and efficient. I would describe this hotel as a good base for those enjoying car-hire, who can travel to see the really beautiful gems that this side of the island has to offer - we had a 2-day stay to visit Valley de Mai and Anse Georgette. The hotel has a lovely pool and is framed by attractive greenery but does not have easy access to the beach, which at the time we visited (Oct) was not attractive anyway because of the mass of seaweed - not such a problem at another time of year. The hotel has live music at the weekend: good for those who want to socialise, problematic for those who want to sleep.

was pleasantly surprised by the hotel - so much so, we extended our stay! nice big room, clean with nice bathrooms. a few ants but this seemed to be the case everywhere we stayed. nice garden area around the pool. no tv. beach (anse volbert) was just at the end of the hotel driveway, along with a restaurant/pizzeria owned by the hotel. staff very friendly. after a tour around the island, can safely say that this is the best beach on the island -long white sandy beach, where you can swim (not the case for many of the other beaches). choice of 5 or so restaurants, several atm machines, 2 small supermarkets and souvenir shops within 2 minutes walk. reception can help with car rental, trips etc. money can be changed in the small souvenir shop next to the hotel. local bus stop at just behind the hotel to travel to vallee de mai, anse lazio etc.

Eden Bleu completely surpassed our expectations. We stayed in a standard room for 4 nights in September. The room was spacious, clean and tastefully decorated. Breakfast and dinner were delicious and the chef went the extra mile to prepare vegetarian food for us - the vegetarian curry is amazing! The staff were welcoming and friendly and gave us great advice regarding where to visit on the island. The hotel location was super central and made it the perfect base from which to explore the islands of Seychelles. Only 10 minutes drive from the airport and the jetty meant that we were able to do a trip to St Anne Marine park on one day, and catch an early flight to Praslin on another day - making it home in time to enjoy the pool. We would definitely recommend this hotel and can't wait to go back!

Stayed here for 4 days in early October. This is a high class act in Praslin. B0th beaches (Georgette and Petite Anse Kerlan) are amazing. Staff is extremely professional and nice. Food is good to very good (vs comparable prices in Seychelles) but not amazing (vs what I tried elsewhere in the world). The buffet could could be a touch better and less repetitive (it is good though!). Try their fine Cuisine a la Carte restaurant (book upon arrival, if not before!), located by the Golf. Their Half Board option is interesting and offered upon check-in (65 Euro per person). The wine is insanely expensive (a huge majority above the $200 mark) but I managed to find a good bottle of Chablis just under $70 CAD. We had a Junior Suite and it was more than enough. Extremely functional and well laid out. Again, not a cheap option, and as with anything else in the Seychelles sometimes you feel you're overpaying vs the value that you're getting (a common feeling everywhere in the Seychelles). But there is a sense of serenity é9not a crowded resort, actually doesn't feel like a resort) and class/exclusivity that makes it worth every $.

It's the best stay ever in my life. I believe it's one of the best hotel I've ever stayed. The friendly sister of the owner and her husband took us to snorkeling and introduced us a lot about Seychelles island. For sure, if it was not them, we won't know so much about Seychelles and fell in love with this place. They are the island resident for a long years. They had real feeling to this land and David is a very experienced diving coach. The hotel is dramatically beautiful. Very greek style. Transparent and stylish. To choose room 16 which is the best room of the hotel, you can enjoy sea view in front of your window and you can look at see when you shower. The air condition is very cool. For value in price, it's the best on the Mahe island. On the private beach you can see a lot. Turtles, orchines, shells, some fishes. There are some rocks, you can climb on it. You can enjoy the sunset view. The hotel has stunning restaurant. Well designed bed for relaxing. In a word, it's the best stay ever for me!! Strongly recommended!!!

It’s was our best hotel while traveling in Seychelles. We don’t wish that money we spent for. To be honest I can’t say the La Digue became our favorite island, but this hotel made a great impression on our stay there.

First of all Stephane and His mother are very kind and you feel like you know them for a long time ago. The location is perfect and the lodge is the best we have seen on La Digue. You have a little house in a paradise garden...The room is large, comfortable, you have a terrace and a kitchen where you can have breakfast or dinner and I must say it was the best food we have eaten in Seychelles so I reccomand eating there. You are at 10 minutes bicycle ride from any beach. We stayed only 5 nights but we wish we have stayed more... La Digue is the most beautiful in Seychelles and we reccomand tracking to Nid d'Aigle-Anse Coco-Grande Anse-Anse Marron-Anse Source d'Argent with the guide Robert Agnes. We have been to Sisters Island- the second beach is one of the best beaches in Seychelles in my opinion. If you want to visit Praslin go and see Anse Georgette. You have to go for that to Constance Lemuria resort and to walk for about 20 min but it's worth visiting it. Also eat at Caffe des Artes in Praslin. We 've stayed in Mahe as well - very beautiful mountains but not so many beautiful beaches- Anse Intendance is the best one. Beautiful islands, a lot of vegetation and beautiful colour of the sea...

The room is clean in general, maybe the flower attract the ants in bathroom which we face in some rooms we stay in Seychelles, a small cockroach from drainage in kitchen. The drainage of washing basin in bathroom not work well and the toilet roll rack is broken, we left it and remove the toilet roll some to use, the housekeeper just put it back like nothing but not ask anyone to fix? every time we use the toilet paper, the rack drops on floor with the paper roll, so frustrated. It would be better to tell we need to wash our used pan and dishes after the first day make-up room without dish washing. Last but not least, 10 Euro for wifi access during the stay. I did read the comment before I went there and seems it is 10 Euro per day on previous time and it is better now maybe?! The good thing is, they have a bicycle for rent based on mutual trust system, claim and pay how many day and bicycle you use during your stay on check-out, appreciate it.

We are a couple from Denmark, and stayed at La Residence in july 2014. We booked the villa, because we wanted to stay out of crowded hotels like Banyan Tree or Maia, and enjoy the "quiet" side of the island. Reception was perfect in one and all - to provide us with EU/UK adapters, they use UK type, beach towels free of charge, map, they also have a choice of books to read at the reception. WiFi is very very weak, and works fine either late at night, or if one is in 5-meters range from the reception, so be adviced! Another "warning" is that there are geckos/small lizards everywhere, like in the rooms or terrace, and they are singing somtimes quite loud :))) But they keep moskitos out of the room and are harmless. And they are just everywhere on the island, there is no option to keep them out or avoid them. We used to them quickly and enjoyed their company! We hired a car, but left-side driving, VERY narrow roads and no sidewalks with pedestrians going on the road makes driving difficult and requires good skills. Alternatively, you can drive through all the island by route busses for a fare of 5SCR/0,3EUR, which takes long but is much cheaper option. West side of the island is OK, and there are 3 beaches in 5 minute walking range from the hotel. However the sea at the west side of the island is stormy and has currents from may to december, this especially applies to the southern beaches. The most quiet beaches from 05 to 11 are on the northern side, like Beau Vallon. We mostly drove every day to the beaches far away and our top 5 is as follows: 1. Anse du Riz (cap Matoopa) - no people, we were totally alone like on private island, 2) Anse L'Islette, 3) Anse Intendance (ALL 3 is WESTERN SIDE), 4)Beau Vallon, 5) Baie Lazare. Enjoy!

This small hotel just north of Beau Vallon is situated in one of the most beautiful spots on the island of Mahé, with a fanstastic beach in a little bay that offers the most spectacular snorkelling experience within just a few meters. The hotel provides you with free snorkelling gear and you can easily spend a week looking at all the things there are to discover underwater. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay there, and can recommend this place to anyone who is not expecting a luxury 5 star experience, but is happy to find a relaxed, layed back atmosphere, peaceful and quiet. Is is only in the small things that the hotel needs some improvement; the cleanliness is not always spotless and the staff could be a little more attentive here and there. The cuisine in the evenings was truly excellent. The bar right on the water is lovely, but you can't see the full sunset from there; either go down to the far end of the beach, or book one of the junior suites to get the best view. The pool, the drainage system of the entire hotel, the pool table and pingpong, and all groutings in the bathrooms are in need of refurbishment. The gift shop was closed during our entire stay and the reception could not help with booking excursions. Beau Vallon can be reached by public bus within a few minutes to enjoy restaurants, shops and activities. We were very happy with our stay and would certainly book this hotel again.

Moulin Kann Villas was an excellent choice for our 6 day holidays in the Seychelles, Mahe Island. The location is perfect, just by the beach, in the South of the island where all the beautiful and less crowed beaches are. The apartment is brand new, it has sea views, the private swimming pool is just incredible, there is a kitchen for self catering (as eating out is quite pricey on the island), and it is just a wonderful retreat from the hot weather when you're able to relax in your swimming pool. Albeit not cheap, we felt it was worth the extra cash as the place is just sensational, and we loved it very much. Seychelles makes you feel like in paradise, however when you stay here, the feeling is even more enhanced. Highly recommended.

Quaint! Couple-friendly! Great breakfast! Bayview Seychelles is a quaint place located in Central Mahe on the West Coast road with a nice south-east facing view of the bay. The nearest beaches are Grand Anse& Anse Boileau. Parking space is adequate to accommodate cars from all occupant guests. The rooms are clean, lovely & with sufficient amenities; with air-conditioning, a fridge & quaint looking cupboards & drawers. A TV set was present but there was no pre-ready TV cable installed, but who watches TV in the Seychelles! Common to the rooms is a lobby, a balcony with the bay-view & a shared kitchen area. All cooking amenities are present, but it is recommended to ask from the host Mrs. Soni if cooking would mean being priced for cooking gas. Mrs. Soni is easily reachable on phone all day. Mr. Joon and his aunt Mrs. Mildred are the caretakers on the property. They are very welcoming, helpful and friendly. They serve an excellent English breakfast!

Petras G.H. La Dique is generaly overpriced.like Petras G.H. for €55.- i got the first night a room with bathroom outside and with the morning and afternoon sun on the outside walls hot like a sauna!everybody else would have been ashamed to offer a bad deal like this!!2.day after heavely complaining i got a room with bath.also very strange between 8 and 9pm she looks the frontdoor.i felt like locked in,even i could have gone outside using another door,but which i could not lock from outside.then 2 police came by at night and said,they looking for a robbery!!this on a tiny island with 2000 residence! The other very disturbing thing in the Seychelles are the totaly outrages Ferryprices.4 times more then the locals.a flight Mahe to Praslin ist only 10%more!! from Africa for examble Addis Ababa to Antananarivo via Seychelle $ 290.- with Kenyan.

These apartments have agreement with the LaDigue Lodge - so we could use their pool, beach. The breakfast was there too - good one Staff was very attentive and helpful. Rooms spacious and clean. Although those rooms that are facing the road have a balcony - I'd recomend to take the one facing the backside - more quiet. Very good location, bicycle rentals close by. There is the biggest supermarket on the island right under the apartments (still not that big though))), and a pizzeria if you like that type of food. More or less affordable accomodation, considering that Seychelles are rather expensive.

Although not cheap, I can't think of a better location in the Seychelles than Eden Island. The apartment was very large with a patio overlooking the marina. The development is a full gated community where you get free use of a golf cart to move around. The facilities are good with a well-stocked supermarket and a wide choice of bars and restaurants on site. Located just 4km from the airport and close to Victoria, I don't think that there is a better location on the Seychelles (most of the other luxury resorts are in the south of the island and quite remote). If we ever return to the Seychelles (not 100% sure about that as it seems very expensive compared to places like Thailand), then we would definitely stay here again.
