Sharm is a purpose built tourist destination. It is very static so is not for anyone interested in culture or history.
Very much a tourist city. Old Market is the cheapest shopping for souvenirs and local goods. El Mercado has the imported/designer goods - but they come at a price.

Sharm Al sheik is an intersting place for spendding a holiday. I have visited the city for four times.
It's such a wonderful place and a piece of heaven on earth, the weather is great sunny and warm you have many things to do there but you should plan for your stay previously,my tip for you is " as soon as you get there make a deal with any tourism companies in Nemaa bay, they are really cheap and they make good discounts also they have many programs"
