Traveler impressions of South Goa
Quiet beaches, unlike north Goa, classy crowd, feeling of exclusivity accompanied with great resorts and food shacks on the beach.
We visit Agonda Beach & Lagoon Beach. Silence and very clean beaches. The most nice places we visit in South India!
south Goa is very nice for the beaches and swimming its so nice …north got Ugh !!! can't get on the beach bit like Blackpool on a bank holiday weekend but all the time
about the goa i can say only that, i like the decipline in driving. clean city. & thay maintaining thats very important.
but i think mostly shhops in goa they close early around 8pm. they should increase the time untill 10 pm. only this is my suggesion.
Det är platsen man kan åka till om man vill ha en lite lugnare vistelse med avkoppling på fina stränder och mycket god mat.
Cery remote place. Needs to go during summer to get full benefit. Enjoyed walking by the sea. Town is very crowded and not as clean as one would expect.
Hotel was nice. No nearby supermarket.

South Goa is a beautiful city. The city entertains each and everyone. The city with lots of beaches, temples, sanctuaries, lots of sightseeing places and cruise boats, is a must see place.

More about South Goa
Of course, the main activity when in South Goa is to mostly do nothing other than relax, but if the relaxing by the sea gets to be a little too boring, head to the small bit of excitement and entertainment often found at Palolem Beach, which offers some of South Goa’s most exciting nightlife.
South Goa is frequented by those seeking a much calmer and relaxed vacation than what is found on North Goa, and the area features some of the nicest beaches and luxury resorts in this region. Off the beach, there’s more to see around town in South Goa, including cultural centers such as the Ancestral Goa Museum, as well as important temples and a stunning waterfall at Dudhsagar Falls. The museum is definitely worth leaving the coastline to explore, as it houses some of the heritage and history of Goa, as well as showing off the current culture and craft of the area.
