Other room was cozy with wood paneling all around. Bathroom was updated in the King bed unit. Didn't like the bathroom in the Queen room. Overall very happy with my stay.

Right behind Harvey's, which is perfect for the concert we went to. A little outdated, but clean, friendly staff, and reasonable price. If you're not planning to be in a hotel much and just need an inexpensive place to sleep and clean up, this is a great spot. Free breakfast and they gave us a pass to a nice beach nearby for the next day. Would definitely stay there again!

I always have a great stay here and always have a great time in South Lake Tahoe! but this place is a great value and location is one of the best you can get. There was only one thing that could be more consistent. Both times I stayed here the heaters were not working or very loud. This last time It was 19f during my stay and was always on and always loud. But other wise I couldn’t be more happy with my stay here.

It was a great deal considering it was memorial day weekends. We got a huge room with 3 queen beds that could fit six people. The room is basic with microwave, ref and a clean bathroom. The Inn is a bit old, but as long as we have roof on our heads and a place to sleep that is fine.

we loved it. the room had a great size. had everything we needed. it is super close to heavenly gondolas and the lake. breakfast was basic but nice: fresh apples and oranges, instant oats and of course bagels! we didn't use the whirlpool. it was small and too close to the road. unfortunately the pool wasn't open. other places had bigger whirlpools and heated pools but it wasn't important to us. we would stay here again!!

The price was good for popular festival weekend and location couldn't be better. Room was very clean. Building is old though so wouldn't want to be staying there multiple nights. Under same circumstances (one night in and out of Tahoe) would stay there again.

A clean resort with many facilities such as swimming pool, gym, games by the lake. Just walk 5 minutes and reach the lake. Parking was not sufficient on the spot and had to park opposite the road. Room had kitchen for simple cooking and morning coffee in the lobby was good. Near the hotel have restaurants of all type. Safeway, CVS are just 10 minutes drive.

Pros: great location, staff was friendly, kind, helpful. Room was clean and comfortable. Cons: decor is a little unusual but charming, and adds character. Parking lot was tight. I'd stay there again.

You pay what you get, a decent place for 1 or 2 nights. The room is dated but everything works. Having free HBO channel is plus. The bathroom is just average clean; the toilet is small size. Breakfast is meh... I decided to go to Mcdonalds instead. The good thing is you can get delicious pho easily, the restaurant is just the next door. Walking distance to the Heavenly and shopping plaza. The hotel staffs are friendly. Oh btw, the SPA is closed during winter season :/ bummer

This is just a bed and bathroom kind of place, the bed wasn't a super high end bed but it was comfortable enough and had plenty of pillows. There's a bath with a small tub, a refrigerator, microwave and single cup coffee machine. There are no frills to this place, no breakfast served etc, but it's located next to Basecamp which has a great weekend outdoor space, and right by heavenly village. It was very very quiet while we were there which was awesome. I'd stay again

The heated floors made coming back to the room after being out in the cold much more satisfying! Although the rooms did get toasty, it was overall a nice hotel experience and it was in a prime location.

There was no working wi-fi even after calling many times they were told me keep on connecting and there is no password enforced as well, rooms are not at all good. If you don't have budget to stay in Lake tahoe check in Carson City with the same price you will get a good hotel but don't dare to stay here...!!!!

I am happy that I booked with Lake Ridge, the room was very clean, and the bed was comfortable (rm 206). The bathroom was clean, and you didn't have to wait for the hot water to come out. It seemed as if the room was recently remodeled, no stains in the carpet, the walls look freshly painted. The only thing left to remodel is the sink, it looked old compared to the rest of the bathroom. The heater worked great. The facilities were cleaned daily. Breakfast was ok nothing fancy, 2 types of cereals, oatmeal, fruit, bread and fresh Coffee or hot cocoa. They need to replace the bed covers, don't get me wrong it was clean, but it made the room look tacky, they just need to update it to match the rest of the room. I will definitely book a room at Lake Ridge hotel again.

When I was searching for a place that will accommodate my family, I didn't know I will find this gem!! I read a few bad reviews but sure turned it around for our experience. The cabin's location is situated not far from everything but feels far away from the busy streets and noise. Our family loved it!! We were already booking our next day on our first night we stayed over.

In room Jacuzzi was great! Hotel was near to main street. Walking distance to nearby beach area too.

We came here for celebrate our anniversary. it was a nice hotel to stay, it was a center in south Tahoe. we love the room in this hotel.

The location is very close to Heavenly Village, you can walk going there for about 5 mins. Also, the hotel itself is very cute and cozy. The design is modern and up to date. There's free smores every night which is such a good addition to their services. The staff are very friendly and accommodating too. For those who are not interested to go out, they have board games at the lobby. Breakfast is okay too, with minimal but good selections. Will definitely stay here again when I go back to Lake Tahoe!

It’s awaome hotel n resort best part is it’s very near to Lake Tahoe lake so you can enjoy at beach when ever you want and it has good parking pace Indian Restruant ,Safeway, cvs pharmacy are all walkable(4 -5 min) There is boat rental , parasailing and kayaking that you can rent. Hotel price free shuttle to downtown. It has swimming pool jacuzzi and bonefire place (artificial fire place) where anyone can enjoy I recommend this hotel, I paid 181$ for two queenbed room , try if you can get lower this

I chose this hotel as it was in the right area for the Gondola ski lift for a ski trip (1st-10th Feb 2013). It was easy to walk from the hotel to the ski lift every day with skis (and in ski boots), so it fitted everything I wanted to there. The breakfast were great - porridge, bread, fruit, yoghurt, orangge juice, tea, coffee, whilst the snack options seemede pretty good (though I just walked up to Raleys and bought mine there). The mulled wine in the evenings was a lovely, welcoming return from a cold day skiing, as was the in room fire. The rooms were well cleaned, and very spacious, and decorated in a nice way (yes, the photos do it justice) Two things to improve - 1: Wifi - I had a terrible time with the wifi - very patchy service and couldn't get a consistent signal even after the wifi had been rebooted. Sometimes I'd get through when I needed it, other times I wouldn't. 2: The car porch/port had no guttering. Every other roof did, but as the car port didn't, then snow on the roof warmed up during the day, dripped onto the floor, and froze at night. Several slips (but nothing serious) suggests that by doing something simple (eith some guttering on the car port roof or getting a drain to remove the water) would prevent this. It's a bit of a tight fit around the corner so would improve safety.

This location is right at the main "Village" area of Lake Tahoe and also at the base of Heavenly Mountain. It is an older place and needs some updating. The building we stayed in (there are about 4 buildings) were originally built without a/c units. They have added that but in a very peculiar location, I'm sure because of the way the building was built. They have underneath parking (which would be great in the winter) but the walkway above is getting old and should be replaced. Overall it was a good location and everyday there were activities going on.

Pros: King rooms are a great size; very spacious compared to other hotels we’ve stayed in. Bed was extremely comfortable. Room had two vanities which was fantastic to spread out for my husband & I. The room was also very clean & stylish. One of the best rooms I’ve ever stayed in. Cons: slightly too far out from the developed area of South Lake Tahoe. We had a hire car, so it was no big deal & the great room far outweighed this minor con. There is also an Irish pub within walking distance which was good too. Just something to be mindful of. Overall, if you rate a fantastic room over multiple pubs within walking distance, you won’t be disappointed staying here. It’s really nice.

We decided to stay an extra night and needed a place in Tahoe. We found The Alpenrose Inn and it was delightful! It was cozy and clean. The towels and the bed linens were soft and smelled like you were at home. Staff was friendly and the continental breakfast was very nice. It is in walking distance to the casinos if that interests you. We will definitely be back for a longer stay in the future!

We had a great stay at Lake Tahoe Resort. The room was exactly as advertised and was comfortable. The furnishings - and indeed the entire facility - was a bit dated, but it met our needs. Breakfast has a reasonable buffet, but scrambled eggs were the only egg choice, unless you paid $5 extra. All parking on the property is valet (currently an additional $19/day) and retrieving your car can take considerable time. We had to wait almost one hour the morning we checked out. Annoyingly, the woman coordinating the valet kept telling everyone it was a 10 minute wait.

Excellent location and clean stay. Very near to Heavenly place, 2 blocks from Gondola, beach, shopping and Casino's. Very good breakfast and the rooms are clean. Ample parking too. Worth staying at this location than other places where they charge parking and resort fee. Highly recommend this hotel.

The location was great! The rooms were spacious, clean and well equipped with lots of kitchen utensils. There were a total of 3 bathrooms after opening up the connecting doors. The staffs were very friendly and welcoming.
