"Our first time to Stanthorpe, the motel is lovely and well run - it’s other guests that made our overnight stay uncomfortable. Chain smokers sitting outside our room meant we couldn’t have the window or door open on a very warm night and early morning without being polluted. And on the other side through thin walls, we were woken at midnight by a loud-voiced man chatting and laughing on the phone for a very long time. I must remember to ask about smoking policies and how thick the walls are before booking an overnight on a road trip next time. "

"Everything from the moment I booked this for our 25th wedding anniversary was perfect! Communication with our host was top notch, with all my questions answered. Upon arrival we were greeted by a proud Mumma roo and her cute little joey. We entered the accommodation to some ever so relaxing chill out music and were blown away by all the little touches Cheryl had obviously given a lot of thought to. From the incredible design of the studio to the tasteful interior, the comfiest of bed and lounge, to the spa bath with a view to die for. The kitchen was filled with great tools for cooking, if you so wish. The coffee machine was an unexpected but greatly appreciated luxury! The house manual is filled with lots of useful information on wineries, where to eat and how to operate everything. There were local delights that we could purchase and some to sample too. My little recommendation if you are up for it, is wake up early & experience the sunrise with the Roos and frost! Bliss!!"
