"My friend and I stayed in a twin room with an ensuite- a nice, comfortable room for a hostel. (Some kind of soap holder would have been appreciated in the shower, though the bathroom was clean and water pressure was good!). All the accomodation in Sydney was very pricey during the weekend of the stay- given the fact, the cost of the room was reasonable. Beds were quite comfortable (double bed + trundle), there was a tv in the room (but no wifi) and the hostel is in a great location. Staff were friendly and we also appreciated the 'cinema' room, which has nightly movie screenings. There are also lockers downstairs where you can put your belongings after checkout ($4 for the first 4 hours and then $2 for the next 4 I think). The staff also helped us to book a YHA discount for the Aquarium. Unfortunately it was quite noisy on Saturday night (seemed mostly to be coming from drunks and hoons on the main road) but Sunday night was much quieter. Would stay there again if on a budget!"

"1 min walk from Central Station. You can walk from Sydney Central Inn you can walk up to The Rock, passed the Hyde park, Australia Museum, St. Mary's Cathedral, Art Gallery of New South Wales, The Royal Botanical Garden, Sydney Opera House. Room is average (no aircon). Towels are provided with bath shower gel and conditioner. Common toilets are always tidy (I tried both floors). With regular kitchen equipment for travelers needs. No lift (but it's okay). Friendly, even Thailander staff can speak in english. "

"Travelodge Sydney Hotel is perfect for first time visitors to Sydney, returning visitors and the like. It's easily accessible location ( from the airport) and closeness to everything makes it the perfect hotel. Trains were only a few minutes walk away (Museum Station), buses, monorail and light rail were also within short walking distance. Rooms were adequately sized and well equipped, they also included Foxtel channels. The hotel is very close to Chinatown, World Square and Paddy's Markets/Market City so it makes it very easy to find something to eat or a place to shop. Overall I enjoyed my stay at Travelodge Sydney Hotel and I will definitely stay there again if I returned to Sydney!"

"Never had a room that could just fit a bed, and still have a shower tucked in the corner closed off by a black curtain. Tiny... The hotel is close to the airport - and is cheap. The restaurant attached to the hotel does some great food! Maybe look at a bigger room if your going to take this one..."

"We just needed a bed before an early flight and this was great - I was concerned it would be a bit shabby and dodgy but it was fine, everything was new and clean. We found the T3 parking was cheaper over the length of time we were away so we just parked there and walked over. Easy walk to terminal from hotel, no roads to cross. Room had enough room for two small carryons and us, probably would fit larger suitcases too. Front desk staff were very helpful even though they were very busy. Bit of a walk up to Mascot main street for food (nearby options are all fast food) but I'm sure you could get delivery. Nothing really negative - basic towels, no handtowels or facecloth, and there's only blackout blinds or nothing but these are minor. Unlike most hotels in Australia, I found this good value. "

"I was pleasantly surprised by The Capsule Hotel. If you can deal with staying in a capsule I would definitely recommend it: the capsules, bathrooms and kitchen area is super clean with no imposing odours either. I had no problem getting access to a shower in the morning and was able to make my own breakfast in the kitchen area. A big plus also: THEIR WI FI IS BUILIDNG WIDE! You can use it in your capsule, in the hallways, in the bathrooms or in the kitchen area. This is not always the case. I stayed at two places on this trip to Sydney and despite paying less for the Capsule Hotel it was the better venue. May not be ideal for senior travellers but a definite recommendation to young and middle-aged folks who are travelling on a budget and don't care about lots of space!"

"Hotel location is very good, walking distance to Sydney town tourist spot, such as Sydney tower, St mary's cathedral sydney, Chinatown, Paddy's market, Darling harbour side, and Town hall MRT station and so on... Cleanliness of hotel room is 10/10 provide daily room cleanning sevices... The room interior design is comfortable and look like new... provide mini frige, hair dryer, TV... if u booking for 3 people as me then got a queen bed and a single bed then the single bed have own TV, this is what i am surprising... The hotel staff is nice and willing to provide useful information... Only the thing no convenience is no Wifi/need to pay money... but most of hotel in sydney are same...
