There are not too many real sights in the city, but the attraction is the city itself. Exploring the different quarters is great fun.
Very cosmopolitan. Lots of culture, museums, sightseeing, relaxation at the beach. Definitely an eclectic mix and something for everyone.
Was not sure what I was in for, but was pleasantly surprised how friendly and helpful the locals are.
A great place centrally located in a great country with so much history and so many places to see. This wether a person is interested in religion or not.
Tel Aviv is the most vibrant and exciting cities in the world. Always a pulse, always activities and open 24/7.
There's lots of history in the city, despite it being relatively new. Many of Israel's "founding fathers" had homes here over the last century, and there are many museums and art exhibitions available for those wishing to see it.
Tel-Aviv is only 100 years old, but Jaffa, which now is a part of Tel-Aviv is 2,500 yeras old. You can find in Tel-Aviv the new and modern buildings along side with over 100 years old buildings.
It was my first time in Tel Aviv and I love this city. Tel Aviv offers a variety of different stuff to for different type of travellers.
Tel Aviv is a great city. Easy to get around, great shopping, beautiful beaches. There are neat places to visit like Rabin Center and of course the Shook or market place, beware of getting ripped off by overly friendly "I'll give you a great deal" vendors, instead go to the little Jewish shops down the street where the vendors are very honest and have better quality and larger variety of goods!
The buildings are kind of drab and the people are not the most friendly people I've met in all of my travels.
Modern, dynamic city with excellent infrastructure in terms of roads, bus, taxi and rail systems. Borgrashov Street and Allenby Street retauatants, waterfront restaurants, Jaffa, Azriella Centre, Dizengoff Centre, Carmel Market,Diamond Exchange in Ramat Gan all interesting places to see.
Busier shops and restaurants usually have staff who understand English. Beware that many shops and buses stop running for Sabbath, that is from 2pm on Friday and all day Saturday, however there is more open in Tel Aviv than anywhere else in Israel.
It is a minor league version of miami beach.Great stall food and street food.(hummus,felaffel,schwarma.
Expensive city, nice lovely people, nice beaches and food. Road sign is easy for walking tour. Public transport is convenient as well.
Beautiful city. People extremely friendly and helpful. Felt very safe day or night. Great places to shop and eat.
great city due to the access to jerusalem and other religious historical sites. Not much choice of Asian restaurant.
