Lovely hotel within a boutique shopping centre right next to a main road but hitel is quiet.Friendly, accommodating and welcoming staff. Large and comfortable bed. Shower head needs replacing but otherwise room all good. Magnolia restaurant for evening meal had wonderful vibe and delicious food. Will stay at Casterbrook again when in White River.

The hotel is a true unique gem. All is great, just sad that the morning coffee is it part of the breakfast... - that feels quite strange looking at the price of the hotel . Dinner served in the terrace is good - as you are in s way again a captured customer since nothing much is in walking distance. The tree on the terrace is a must see even if u don't stay overnight . We enjoyed our stay a lot

White House Lodge is situated in a quiet garden. The owners are very friendly and helpful. They offer a great breakfast.

I booked on short notice for a bridal party for the day before the wedding. We only arrived at 23:00 but everything was beautiful and so neat. We got a lovely breakfast in bed the next morning. They even organized a bed for the baby. Would definitely come and stay again.

We stayed here for 4 nights before going into Kruger and explored the Panorama Route. What a beautiful, beautiful place! The suite we stayed in was spacious, clean, and had great amenities! The property was big, quiet, peaceful and breathtakingly stunning! The plants, animals, and pool on property were such a nice and relaxing touch. The hosts were the sweetest people, very kind, and made sure we had a great stay. We will definitely stay here again and we definitely recommend!!

The stay was awesome, rooms were comfortable and neat;staff were friendly and the environment was quiet and tranquil. The only thing I wish the hotel can improve is the buffet. We felt it was not really value for money, but at least we booked a self catering buffet, so it didn't really affect us.

Facilities need upgrading - not 4 star by TGCSA standards. Staff, bar one, not too bothered with providing service to guests. In fact we were told to wait an hour for drinks service because the bartender wasn’t there. Great setting but not all activities advertised are actually available anymore. Staff also quite eager to get rid of you in the evenings by bringing you your bill without checking you’re even done. Set menus also annoying if you’re a selective eater. None too impressed when you’ve spent a lot of money on your one holiday for the year and then it’s not all it’s been advertised to be.

We had such a wonderful warm welcome from both managers that we instantly felt "at home". The room was well appointed, the garden surrounds very peaceful and the breakfast was absolutely delicious.

I spent three nights at the Ambience Inn. It is located in a quiet neighborhood (great for a walk or jogging). The guesthouse is surounded by a wonderful, well-kept garden and has a great pool. The rooms have everything you need: a large comfortable bed with mosquito net, a large bathroom, facilities for tea and coffee, free WIFI etc and even an own little backyard and a table on the veranda. Everything is tastefully decorated and spotlessly clean with lots of nice little touches. The breakfast is outstanding and delicious! The hosts are wonderful and do everything to make their guests feel at home. They were very helpful and gave me some great advice on where to go. The guesthouse is in a great location for the town centre and only a 30min drive from the Kruger National Park. If you're visiting White River this is definitely the place to stay.
