Good location and nice Hotel ”

We do have a great stay in Continental Hotel & Casino . Totally we stay 5 nights in this hotel .The room we have was big and nice .If we are again in Panama City and we would like to stay at this Hotel . Only one matter is this hotel have not free WIFI in the room . The rest was good .

Great flexibility”

We stayed at this hotel during our lay-over in Panama and were very impressed with the flexibility offered us by the hotel. We arrived very early and where immediatedly allocated a nice, spacious room and due to a late flight the next day, again, the hotel gave us a very late check-out with no problems. The hotel has a charming bar, great restaurant, swimming pool and we found the staff to be happy, cheerful and helpful. Would definitely stay here again and can wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to anyone.

great hotel, great location”

the hotel is well located on via espana. the staff was friendly and the rooms were clean and spacious. the service and the food were good. my only regret is that the breakfast was not included, and there was no coffee maker in the room.

Lovely hotel and staff”

following travellers comments on tripadvisor, i chose to stay in this hotel for 6 nights before christmas. i am glad i did. it is a great hotel, clean and well located in the city center. the restaurant is great. my only complaint is that the breakfast is not included. the only thing this hotel needs is a coffee maker in each room. other than that, nothing to complain about. a very friendly staff. thanks to michelle (night staff) for being helpful and understanding.

Nice Local Hotel ”

this is a circo 1970's hotel that has been maintained nicely and is close to several of the avenues so travel is easy with a cab. the only problem is that you can hear the traffic outside so get a room off the street. it is close to several casinos and shopping that the locals use is in the area. the room was clean and linens were fresh. also the hotel has a restaurant and interenet room. at night they offer a barbeque and happy hour at the bar.

Stayed for one week. to short for a good vacation. In geberal Panama is beautiful and very economical. Would recommend to family and friends anytime.

Excelent hotel for a business trip to Panama”

My stay at the hotel was very good. The room and bathroom were very comfortable and nicely furnished. The central location in town is perfect for business in the financial district. I could get a very convinient rate. Did not have breakfast or meals at the hotel due to my schedule.

A pleasant stay”

Overall, a pleasant stay. I highly recommend booking thru Agoda as the posted room price was more than double what I paid. For sightseeing, I recommend negotiating with a taxi for a half day and not go thru hotel. The first day, we used hotel concierge and I know we paid double (if not triple) by using that source.

The location is very good, a lot of restaurants, shops, Casinos, the room is very nice, big and comfortable

Great location, good food”

the time to find me a good cab with a driver he knew to be safe, to a clinic when I developed a sinus infection, and was so polite! An employee like that at the meet and greet place in the hotel makes all of the difference in the world to me!

It was first time to stay in Panama. The staff was kind and freindly.

clean, well maintained, extemely helpful staff”

I enjoyed it. I found the staff of the hotel extremely capable and helpful. Small things like allowing me check in early and opening the fitness room for me even though it was after hours really made such a big difference to both my mood and my stay. I would recommend it to others.

Nice hotel and large rooms, close to a lot of shopping and entertainment places, no breakfast, internet very expensive

nice hotel, friendly staff”

I only stayed for one night but extended for a second night, the hotel was comfortable but didn't have any food so i can't comment on that. Check in was a bit slow but we got there eventually when they found my book in. overall the room and hotel were good and would stay there again.

Good hotel and good area”

like the hotel, clean and good breakfast, area was nice, lot of casinos and bars nearby. taxi service is excellent also and there are many small shops just a couple of blocks far from the area. next time definitely i will stay in this hotel, the price is acceptable for the service and big room you get.

Well worth it for the right price”

The stay was nice and the price is hard to beat in this area. Now, the drawbacks : we were exposed to traffic noise outside and constantly hear honking horns and car alarms - one alarm constantly sounded for more than 5 hours during the night; I recommend using a regular taxi for exploring sights The hotel will charge you at least triple if you book thru their concierge (don't listen to the pitch).

convenient hotel and good location”

Very good location on the center of the casinos from Panama. Friendly staff and probably one of the oldest casinos is panama. Breakfast is very good and diversify. Rooms are old style but well furnish and bathroom is clean and big. Recommended to travellers to spend a day at the center of the city to tour the large casinos next to the hotel

Great hotel for price - clean - friendly”

Stayed there 3rd week of May hotel was in great location with so many restaurants in walking distance. 24hr extremely cheap Spanish diner right next door for cheap breakfast.

Really nice staff”

Nice hotel, The gentleman at the door was very accomodating and even openend up the gym for me after hours which after a 11 hour flight was what I needed more than anything

Great location ”

Super comfortable room, large fridge in room, great outdoor pool with towels provided, walking distance to groceries, liquor, clothing, and restaurants. Cons are no full length mirror in room, limited menu & pricey restaurant and not enough lounge chairs at poolside.
